I am not sure whether this is normal or not. I have never noticed this before, however i am a bit concerned. So about a week ago i was hacked, and i removed all the files and everything, and managed to get past with 0 damage. I installed Avast to scan for viruses and i have been using it ever since then, but it keeps blocking something from opening and i don't know what it is or whether its normal. It used to only block a blacklisted URL called: " 1.awakened.work". It scared me a bit so i went to check on the IP for the website and a bunch of information on what it is but i found nothing that meant anything to me. I uninstalled Firefox a few times and reinstalled it. I even completely removed all the files related to Mozilla but once i reinstalled it then 4 web URL's tried to open and got blocked named:" 1.awakened.work", "1.foreground.work", "1.6912044.cc" and "listitnow.org". I have no idea what these do or are and i came here to ask whether anyone knows how to stop them from even trying to open. When i removed Mozilla then they didn't try to open and only tried to open while i had Mozilla. I looked at the location of the files and it says they are the Firefox.exe so i don't know. I really love using Mozilla but if i can't fix this, then i will have to use GX.

Unlike Safari, Firefox doesn't autofill passwords or 2-factor codes. Please implement these features or tell me how to get them to work. MacOS 14.4.1 Thank you, Steve

Something happened with your new update, and now my computer is not working. i cannot get my emails to come even though i choose the email button. The wheel just keeps turning and turning, and will not ever get to the emails. The same thing happens when i try other favorites buttons on the top of the page. i do not know the correct words to describe what i am trying to say because i am not tech savvy at all. i am a senior citizen who needs my computer to work again. What has happened? i do not understand any of the directions given to me when you have answered me today. i do not understand the details! i am very frustrated right now, and have spent a lot of my day trying to get my computer working the way it did yesterday. What has happened?

Would you please send me an email address so I can copy and paste what I placed in the search box and what your algorithm displayed to me and for whatever reason the algorithm displays anything but the question being asked it’s baffled me is behoove me it’s really piss me off. You can look me up and you know me and where I live. too much two months trying to get to this place it’s unhinging and seems to be totally unnecessary there or be a better way for someone to push through by your algorithm. searching from URL address bar no longer works. Opens search page (start page) instead of results, adding a (unnecessary) step to searching and causing me to have to re-enter my search term. the 2024 trend across the tech industry seems to add unnecessary steps for previously single-step convenient/efficient processes.

Over and over, when trying to get help from firefox, I am told to go to Options in the three bar menu. There is NO options on the menu. Using Windows 10 pro All programs updated. NEVER had "Options" on the Firefox menu - NEVER!!! Told to go to General and turn off Hardware acceleration. NO SUCH choice exists in the General heading under the Settings.

What Universe am I in?????

I just bought a new laptop and downloaded Firefox as I have used it for years. Although I imported my passwords and they are correct it will not log in to sites I need for work. It isn't telling me I have the wrong pw or id, it just does nothing.

I have updated windows, I have uninstalled and reinstalled....I don't know what else to do...any suggestions?
