Is there any information on if the new EU regulations on side loading / alternative app stores will allow for non WebKit based browsers on iOS and iPadOS?

I keep hoping a way will pop up to get extensions working on iOS and iPadOS, and it seems being unbound from Apples App store may also bypass the WebKit regulation. Does anyone know more information about this?

My Firefox on my iPad alsways crashes when I try to select a synched tabs from another Firefox on a different device. The tabs from the other devices show up and the sync is always up to date, but the windows does not react on any interaction, instead the Browser crashes after about 1 minute of inresponsiveness and returns to the home screen of my iPad. I already discenneted and reconnected the Firefox account used for sync on this browser, it did not help. I use the same Firefox version on my iPhone and that does not have this issues, selecting tabs from other devices works as intended.

Firefox version: 114.3 (31916) iPad OS: 16.5.1 (did not work in iPadOS 16.5. either)

I always use Firefox as my default browser on my iphone. Suddenly it’s stuck in desktop mode. I can see how to turn that off in Safari settings, but nowhere in Firefox settings. Using goohle as search engine

I have recently added a new search engine in Firefox Focus, but I find out that something may be wrong with the URL after trying a few searches. I went to the search engine settings page in the app, only to find out that I cannot edit search engines which I have already saved. This means that to test different URLs, I would have to delete the search engine, paste the url again, edit it, name the search engine in case it works that time, and then go back and test if it works. This really shouldn’t be the hassle that it is right now.

I absolutely cannot get the attached screen shot procedure to work, or, if I do, then the PDF is not formatted properly, please advise……. I use this type of feature all the time to save on having to print an actual printed paper copy

My case is simple but I have no ideia the WHY is happening. I use google as a search engine but after a few days, it changes automatically to Yahoo (wich i dont like) and i have to go to preferences and change it back to google. This has been repeating for a few months and I'm a bit fed up of it, so, is there any way to keep google permamently?

Also it is curious that if I restore the default seach engines, it does not appear yahoo, and even if i delete all, and only keep google, keeps on happening again.

I'm an apple user and I also have Firefox since forever on the Iphone and Ipad too and no problem with this ones.

I've noticed a large increase in ads in Firefox for iOS. Seems like it started about 6 months ago. The worst is Google ads that overlay functional parts of a website. Example is the home page and 10 day forecast page of wunderground.com.

The problem is definitely in Firefox. Firefox Focus doesn't suffer from these ads.

Could you please help me, I'm having trouble logging into some of my accounts, I can't access verification codes or the correct passwords for apps like Amazon.co.uk also I keep having to log onto Firefox browser as it does not allow me to stay lodged in does it need to be updated or is there something else I should be doing. Hello, I am used to close Firefox on Windows computer by > Application Menu > Close. Here, all open tabs are closed as specified by me in the settings. However, there is no such a 'close' option in Firefox for iOS/iPad Pro (build 114.3 (31916)), and I close Firefox by wiping the application on iPad Pro. Each new session opens the previously used tabs.

What is the best way to close Firefox AND close all open tabs?

When I try to login and it can detect my email so I don’t need to key in my email I just key in my password. after keying in my password it say missing parameter:client is but if I log out and re login again by re keying in my email information and password there won’t be this error message.Even with this error message I will still be logged in as I will receive a email to say I am sign in and when I go back to the home page and go back to the account page again I will be already logged in.I will still be logged in afterwards when I re enter the account page but this message will pop up if I just key in the password without my email as it can detect my account but if I just re enter my email and password I don’t face this message.This is not the first time I faced this
