Is there a way to make backups of my session every 30 for example? The sessionstore-backups folder only saves the last session... I'd to have it saved often and not automatically deleted.

TB is taking up 11GB on my disk. I want to keep everything on the server (IMAP), but restrict what is synced locally. In settings, I've reduced the sync period from Forever down to 400 days. So now, how do I clear off from my laptop the messages over 400 days old, which still keeping them on the server? Quite a few other posts refer to this, but I can't find one that's really clear.

The system continues to tell me that my original email address is the primary address. That address has been hacked and I need to remove it and replace it. I am then told I need to add a secondary address before I can change. I go into the area where this is done and when I press add it says that the new address is already there. How do I get rid of the hacked address and replace it with the new one (which Mozilla does actually recognize!)?

My replies used to go into the same folder as the message being replied to. Now they don't, and I can't find the configuration option that used to enable that. Where is it? Is it gone? Forever?

I used to operate my emails using POP3 and 'get messages' whenever I wanted to check for new mail, rather than automatically downloading. I disabled the settings in server settings for the auto fetch new emails, but the emails still come through automatically.

Is this due to the change from POP3 to exchange and cannot be overridden, or am I missing something here?

Hello, I have a question about the interaction between the import profile functionality and IMAP synchronization. I am currently in the process of transferring a domain, and during that process the existing emails on the IMAP server for that domain will be lost.

If I have all the emails for that server in a thunderbird backup, and I then transfer the domain and set up another IMAP server for the same addresses, then restore the thunderbird backup, will the emails from the backup then be added to the new IMAP server? If not, does anyone have a recommended way to achieve this?

Since a few days now my URL bar is too small. I can see where it used to be in light gray, but the text box is just a small part of it. I searched everywhere but I can not find anything to fix it. I even tried to reset the settings to default but it is still the same. Any idea what I can do?

When scrolling a web site with an embedded video, as that video scrolls off screen, it automatically pops out to a picture-in-picture video on the lower right-hand part of the page. How can I disable this. I don't want this to ever happen.

Threading seems to have returned to my configuration even though I had previously disabled. The information here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/message-threading-thunderbird about disabling it doesn't seem to actually correspond to options that exist in the 'View' menu.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
