Google is implementing new requirements for mail sent to Gmail account holders. Among other things, bulk mailers have to include certain new header information in emails that reference that the sender has implemented one-click unsubscribe.

Because I send out a newsletter to 40,000 subscribers using a separate mailing program, I have customized the headers there easily. But since I also send personal and/or single emails from Thunderbird using the same domain, I want to add a custom header so any individual emails from Thunderbird will also have the new header info and not be automatically deleted by Google/Gmail.

How can I add a customized header to emails I send from Thunderbird 115.4.1 to comply with Google's new requirements?

The lines I have to add are like this:

List-Unsubscribe-Post: List-Unsubscribe=One-Click List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:<myname@mydomain.com?subject=unsubscribe&body=remove <a href="/en-US/kb/new?title=-Email-" class="new" title="Page does not exist.">-Email- </mailto:<myname@mydomain.com?subject=unsubscribe&body=remove>

Hi, my proxy configuration settings got selected to No proxy and I'm unable to update it to auto proxy/manual proxy configuration settings as you can see in the below image, the pop got disabled and unable to select other options.

Steps to replicate 1.open fire fox browser 2.click on settings 3.select general >> Network settings 4.Click on settings

Actual result: unable to edit the proxy configuration settings got selected to no proxy and editing is disabled

Expected result: should allow user to select the below configuration options i. Auto detect proxy settings for this network ii.use system proxy settings iii.Manual proxy configuration

Hi. I used to be able to maximize (fullscreen) a Firefox window in either my main display or my connected external display and the unused display would remain available. As of the last update the unused display is being blacked out. How can I revert this so I can use the other display? I have already tried turning hardware acceleration off and back on and it still does not work.

For some reason, in my firefox profile, when I try to access "https://accounts.google.com", it open on new tab with a specific container, while other url keep open with no container. I've never configure this behavior, or found a setting to fix it. It only happen on my current firefox profile. If I create new profile, this problem didnt occurs.

1. the number of mails by the word inbox does not match the number of mails. 2. for concepts, the number is correct, but by the word concepts, the same number is given twice: 2 2

I'm using Kubuntu which uses the Dolphin file manager as default. When I download a file and use the download status icon at top right to check on a downloaded file "Show in folder" it comes up in Thunar.

A minor thing and it is not stopping me from doing the intended action, but the change throws me even so given I rarely use Thunar. I'm not sure it even gets installed with Kubuntu, but it has some special tools Dolphin does not have so I put it on my machine.

Any way to make Firefox show the location of the downloaded file using Dolphin? Didn't find anything where I looked using about:config

This one has been driving me a bit batty as of late. I tend to use lots of extensions/add-ons and for most of them, I want the icons to show on the tool bar - that is, the part to the right of the URL/search bar. It used to be that you could adjust the size of your URL/search bar to make it smaller so that more add-on icons could be displayed - but as of recently, that is no longer possible (at least from what I can gather). Right now, I only have 10 add-on icons showing to the right of my URL bar and I have no clue how to access the other add-ons/extensions that I would like to use.

If I can recall correctly, at one time there was a way to show the additional extension/add-on icons in something called an overflow bar - but I can no longer find that, and half of the add-ons I want to access, I cannot do it because they are no longer shown to the right of the URL bar (except for the 10 that are there now).

So my questions are:

How can I resize the URL/Search bar to make it smaller width-wise, so that perhaps, more add-on icons will show to the right - and/or how can I access the rest of my add-ons if they are hidden in some kind of overflow bar?

I have included a screen shot on my current view, showing the add-on icons (some of them) that show to the right of the URL bar - but I have at least 10 others that I cannot find anywhere and would like them to show also.

I'm running TBf 115.8.1 (64-bit) on Gentoo and trying to install an extenstion (Note++) for TB. When I select the *.xpi file from the 'Add-ons Manager' after having downloaded it, I get a dialog of the following:

So I select the Add button, but nothing happens, the dialog just stays there. Even if selecting Cancel nothing will happen and it doesn't go away.

Can someone help me tell me what the current trick is to have a text-only (no icons) bookmark bar?

Mozilla, please implement this function so it's easily switchable between text with icon, icon only, and text only.

I am beyond frustrated (had to create an account to submit this) trying to install the 'Bypass Paywalls Clean (D) addon, where it's permission to install prompt covers the entire screen, without an option to scroll down to the bottom to install it (developer put all of the text from the description, in the wrong place, is what I suspect).

I Uploaded a video to youtube of this happening in Firefox version 123.1.0, apparently also impacting 124.0.

How can this be corrected? I attached a screenshot too.

Hello fine people, forgive me im a noob, first day kn thunderbird... I would like all of my email to show together from both of my Gmail accounts. In Gmail it available as "all mailboxes"

I see that when I search it searches all accounts, that's super cant do that on Gmail but I just cant figure out how to combine my inboxes so scanning the days mail is more easy the way I like it

Hello. This is a feature many users has been asking for. The tab list switch should be visible on the toolbar for easy switching between tabs. Also tab grouping and per site isolation are features that's been requested forerver

Since a recent update my top tool bar to the right of Inbox has a long string of recent deleted messages which is of no use to me. How can I revert to the old format which just provided command options such as address book etc.

The "page info" window showed up when I used ctrl+i to italicize something in a blog post. This has never happened before.

I assume I did something to "enable" it, because right before that I had been typing looking at the screen and not the keys and felt/saw my hands going wonky, but I'm not sure what on earth I did! I asked a friend about it and they said it just seemed like an issue of the browser and website commands fighting, but they weren't sure what to do about it.
