Hey all, I’m using Firefox on iOS 17.1.2 for the last week or so when I’ve been half way down a page, click to go to another page then go back to the previous page, the page I’ve just been on goes back up to the top, not where I’ve left from.

Anyone know what I can do so that it remembers where I am on the previous page when I return to it?

Quite often when I tap on a link outside Firefox (it's my default browser) it opens the link but doesn't load. If I go back to the app with the link and tap it again, Firefox loads the link. Usually a reload does not help (the first time).

Is this a feature? If not, can it be? I frequently use reading mode, especially on horrifically laid out sites such as news and magazine sites. I frequently have to scroll up and down a bunch of times to get the address bar to come back so I can use it. How do I disable this hiding behavior? If I can’t, why? With modern phones being so absurdly tall it’s not like the bar takes up crucial real estate, people should be able to keep it visible if they want.

Screenshot attached. Every time I click a link, it opens one of these boxes instead. The only way to actually navigate to the page is to hold click and select ‘open in new tab’.

I have quit and reopened the app. Deleted and reinstalled. Powered off and rebooted the iPad. At best, links work normally for a short time, before Firefox reverts to doing this whenever I try to open a link.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Thanks!

I'm using iOS Firefox. When downloading PDFs from a site that requires a login, the PDF downloads as a blank file. It still shows up as 74 kb and the name is correct, though. Downloading PDFs from public sites (sites that don't require log in to access pdf) works correctly.

I just tried to do something on a website I used for work. The website stated I was logged in under an account by the email “[edited from public] @yahoo.com”. I used to use this email account when I was a teenager. But haven’t used it and have even deactivated it or possibly lost access at some point I can’t remember.

But I never created a Rover.com account for [edited from public] @yahoo.com however for some reason my browser was logged in under that email in that site.

I deactivated that account on rover and gave them my feedback.

I’m very scared as a childhood acquaintance who has a history of abusing me has hacking capabilities.

Why did this happen???

My windows desktop crashed, requiring a replacement PC. Firefox re-installed but all logins and passwords lost. They’re on my iPad - which is great but how can I export them from the iPad to the pc? I’m logged in on both. The knowledge base always talks about export from pc. Thanks

After everything is going great, periodically I have to sign into everything again even when I check mark keep me signed in, what the fuck is wrong with your browser software? It’s too shaky

I can't get Firefox to autofill credit card information on any pages in Firefox IOS. I have a valid credit card saved, and I have autofill toggled on, but it has never worked. I don't get a prompt to autofill or anything. Any suggestions as to how to solve this? Thanks!

If I hit reply to an email the window that opens for me to type in the reply message is pinned in place on my desktop---and I can't move it as I can all other windows including the original email. This blocks everything under the reply window. Any ideas on what I should do? Already deleted and reloaded the email app ken

When using Apple keychain or Bitwarden, Firefox does not prompt to auto fill the email field in most login situations. In order to get the auto fill prompt to show up, I have to manually type the username/email on the first screen. Then once I submit that Firefox sometimes triggers the auto fill from Bitwarden for the second password screen. An example log in is Google. Username and passwords are not “all in one.” So Firefox won’t fill my email.

I submitted this feedback in the App Store, and was told to explain more here. This is a dealbreaker for me. With RSI I can’t afford to type extra.

I have attached two images, the first is from my Firefox and the second is from the picture of Firefox in the App Store, which my Firefox used to look like. Obviously at some point they increasing the y-padding around the toolbar massively, but I don’t like this change at all — it doesn’t match any other platform and just wastes space. Is there any way to revert the appearance to what it was before?

When I click on Bookmarks on the toolbar, the window with my bookmarks opens normally, but the issue is the size of that windows. It's way to wide and actually wider than the Firefox window itself. Adjusting other windows is easy, but I have no idea how to reduce the size of this one. See the image attached.

If I haven't opened Firefox in a while, it takes 2-3 seconds for the keypad to load before I can search. Quite annoying. Iphone 15 with latest update. SwiftKey keyboard installed
