I've been noticing for the last month that after a few hours in a browser window, I'll suddenly have a pinned tab for some random website. Some for promotional things, others in languages I don't understand, etc. At first I downloaded a webpage blocker, blocked the ones that were pinned, and deleted the tabs. However, after a short while (an hour or two) they would appear again in pinned tabs only this time it would say website blocked.

I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox in hopes that would solve the issue, but it is still happening. I unpin the tabs and delete them immediately after I notice them, but they keep appearing. I really like using Firefox and use it often for work, but I'm concerned for my personal and work security. What should I do?

Hi. When booking flights on my FF browser I cannot move onto the final booking page. You would nearly think that my prvacy settings are too high. I have to close FF down and move to another browser to complete.

Has anyone else encountered a similar problem?

I am receiving the message Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue ... requires a secure connection ... when trying to access my Shopify website AngelFallsHomes.com. This ONLY happens with Firefox; all other browsers are working fine. What do I do to fix this because obviously it is a huge concern.

My computer crashed and I had to reset my account. For some reason the password that I was 99% sure was correct didn't work so in order to change my password it said I need an authentication key. I didn't recall getting one of those so I reset my password (even though it said on the screen I would only lose things like passwords and history). I of course lost all my bookmarks that I've been collecting for the last 20 years. And as life goes I've now found the authentication key. My question is can I get anything back now that I have that key or all my bookmarks are forever deleted?

I need to see what my primary password is, so that I can change it, and then get back into Thunderbird. I have not been able to access my e mails and have lost hours in trying. I am not a happy bunny...Grrrrr.

I recently updated my Firefox browser, and unfortunately, my trusted anti-virus software, ESET, no longer redirects pre-selected websites like banking, PayPal, and insurance to secure pages. This feature has been working flawlessly for years but seems to have stopped functioning in Firefox alone. I prefer using Firefox as my primary browser and would like to find a solution that allows this redirection feature to work again. Can you assist me with this issue?

New computer. Windows 10. Fresh install of Thunderbird (v. 115.0 (64-bit). Got my profile migrated over. I've triple-checked the server settings (name, port, security settings, etc. are identical to on my old computer). But when I click "Get Messages," nothing happens. Doesn't prompt for password, doesn't attempt to connect to the server.

I never had any saved passwords in Tbird, so it's not that.

Doesn't appear to be the firewall (Norton 360). I was all over in those settings and even turned it completely off briefly, same result.

I'll keep Googling, but so far, these two issues seem to be the problem, but as far as I can tell, it's not either one. Thoughts?

Thanks much, AJS
