Hello, I have recently updated to 91.1.1 (32 bit) and now cannot see BCC recipients in the Sent box, for emails sent to Lists comprising some 20+ email addresses. I did not have the problem with the previous versions I had been using for ages. I look forward to a solution. Many thanks, Ian Anthony

Dear,
I am able to enter wrc.com webpage, but when trying to open any sub-pages, e.g. "live timing" nothing happens. When I try the same with Safari, no problems at all. Please advise what I have to do. Please also note, this problem is not happening all the time, but occasionally I am able to fully browse wrc.com, at times not.

I sent an encrypted email to a Protonmail user. I was very annoyed when he replied unencrypted even though he had my public key. For some reason, Protonmail lets people do that. Isn't there some way of keeping this from happening? I'd rather receive no reply at all, than an unencrypted one.

Version 92.0 (64 bit) Ubuntu: 18.04, 20.04
For a couple of months, I have not been able to resize the FF window. Consequently, I abandoned FF for Chrome. I've just upgraded my os to Ubuntu 20.04 (from 18.04) so I thought I'd try FF again. The problem persists.
Minimize/Maximize work fine, but when non-maximized, the resize "handles" don't show up (see attached image). I've tried safe-mode, as suggested by some previous post, but it hasn't helped.

Hello. I have an issue checking mail due to expired root certificate DST Root CA X3. The version of Thunderbird is quite old, but i appreciate its current functionality and don't feel urge to upgrade it to newest version. Mentioned root certificate is used to confirm Lets Encrypt certificate mail server is using. I installed ISRG Root X1 self signed, Lets Encrypt R3 and IdenTrust Commercial Root CA 1 (which is replacement for DST one) in my Windows 7, but Thunderbird still looks at DST Root CA X3 checking mails. This certificate is inside NSS Thunderbird base flagged as builtin object and can't be removed. Seems like Thunderbid doesn't care I have newer proper certificates in system. Can I somehow fix the certificate issue without upgrading TB to newest version?
Want to sync two laptops but the sync process only seems for laptop to app syncing.
Is there a solution?

Hi,
I have a few add-ons installed on Firefox which require to be logged in. I have my Firefox settings to clear history every time I close the Firefox.
My question is... Is there a way that I can retain the logins for the add-ons even after closing the browser?
Currently, every time I launch the browser I have to login.
I have added the homepage URL to exceptions but am not sure that this would help. Kindly help me whit this.
Thank you Suneel

It seems like something has changed recently, I don't remember having such problem before. As you can see on one of my pictures I have browser settings changed to always ask what to do with every file extension, yet encountering link to pdf file it loaded automaticly in special frame instead of showing just link to it. I included pictures of this frame, settings and another screenshot of the same website in Opera browser with similar settings where nothing loads itself.
Link to the problematic comment with auto-loading pdf: https://kodluch.wordpress.com/2021/09/30/30-09-2021-syria-2187-dzien-sprzatania-swiata/#comment-115906
Is there any way to block such pdf-frames in current version of Firefox?

Suddenly, I can't send emails to my list. Sometimes the error message says I've exceeded the maximum (25) for that hour. Other times it says the following: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded:
Please check the message recipient "........@hotmail.com" and try again
I originally had about 40 contacts in the list so I tried dividing into two groups but that didn't work. Still got one message I'd exceeded 25 but I only had 16. I recently updated Thunderbird, so maybe that's the problem. Any suggestions.

Hello, Since yesterday (Sept, 28th 2021), I have the following message when trying to preview an attached document (PDF, in this case), accessing Hotmail using Firefox 92.0 (64-bit) in UBUNTU Linux:
"Something went wrong while the document preview was being created. Please try again later"
The same error also occurs using Firefox 92.0 (64 bit) in Windows 10, but does not occur using Chrome in UBUNTU and Chrome in Windows, as well as using Microsoft Edge. Can you help me please?
Thanks in advance. Manoel.

Hi, Using Firefox 92.0.1. On a AMD 5900x with an Nvidia 3090. Nvidia driver 471.68. Hardware decoding doesn't seem to be working correctly on any website. I noticed this as when I adjust video colours and 'edge enhancement' in the Nvidia control panel it has no effect in Firefox but it works in Chrome and Edge. Simply sliding the colour down to black and white for example doesn't work. In task manager GPU video decode is sometimes used, other times no utilisation. Even if it's showing GPU decode being used the colours or Nvidia enhancements do not apply as they do in Edge or Chrome. I tried refreshing Firefox and no change. Is this the intended behaviour or is there a long running bug as a friend also has the same outcome? Thanks

Thanks Cor-el for replying with advice on how to use about:config to ensure the screencapture was toggled correctly. It wasn't and I corrected that. Now I have the icon in the toolbar and on the right click menu but when I attempt to use them all I get is a popup menu with a large black X in it and nothing can be done with it. Also, on the toolbar items that are added to it all appear in the overflow and there is no way of getting them to appear on the screen by reducing the size of the search bar. I've been using firefox ever since it first appeared and I've never had problems like this before.

You've sent me an email recommending 'The Forget Button' but where is it? It's all very well saying how good it is. I certainly don't have one where it is in your video so how do I install it? Grrr so frustrating.
Ditto the Relay thing for burn email addresses. The little video goes on about how good it is but where on earth is the facility?
Soo madenning!
Any help gratefully recieved.

As of this morning, the 6 or 7 favourite bookmarks, I had displayed on the firefox tool bar have disappeared. I've tried all work arounds like- customizing the toolbar (no option to drag on bookmarks) dragging and dropping onto the tool bar no longer works.
I've managed to open them on the side bar but was wondering if anybody could explain how to have them constantly displayed on the horizontal tool bar?
Thanks in advance

I can't imagine the value of saving emails (File -> Save As) with file names that begin with the email subjects, which are usually arbitrary, other than for a set of emails that have the support ticket number at the beginning of their subjects. It would be best IMO if the date currently at the end was first—or if there were at least be some sort of feature to select the format for the file names.
Also, Thunderbird probably should set one of the file system's file dates (accessed, modified, created on Windows) to the time stamp on the email. Presumably it would have to be an option presented to the user since it wouldn't conform to file system standards, but it would be one simple way to alleviate a variety of needs people have, although prepending the date to the file name might be sufficient.
Since ImportExportTools NG is not supported in the latest version of Thunderbird, it is not a solution for anyone's problems. Perhaps its frequent recommendation indicates Thunderbird needs more official import/export features.
