Using TB 140.8.1 esr(64 bit) on Win11 Home desktop. My internet speed: About 40 Mbps up and down. All routine Win and TB updates installed when available. No changes in configuration, accounts, settings etc. except installing routine updates to TB and Win11. No problem with sending/receiving email. Sent mails go out immediately and appear right away in my sent folder. No problem receiving USENET news new postings to subscribed groups. I'm subscribed to 3 groups, using news.eternal-september.org. It used to be that when I wrote a reply to a post in a thread the msg would be sent within a few seconds. Recently and consistently, when I post to a group, pop-up notification tells me msg is being assembled. But progress appears to stall and msg often takes an hr. or more to appear in sent folder. Sometimes, it never appears in my sent folder but I can see it was sent because subsequent new postings to the same thread often cite my text and/or reply to it. My sent configuration: outgoing server: smtp.gmail.com port: 465 user name: my gmail email address - which works fine using google's web interface or TB authentication: OAuth2 connection security: SSL/TLS Any idea what's wrong? Any suggestions what to try to get back to prompt processing of sent postings to subscribed USENET groups?

When I see a message to update, I always do it immediately. A few weeks ago during an update the browser disappeared and wouldn't launch. I had no option but to uninstall with Revo Uninstaller Pro.

When I installed again, I signed in and immediately selected sync and all my bookmarks were recovered but also Chrome bookmarks which I want to keep separately. No complaint, I just deleted all those Chrome bookmarks.

Had to install all my Browser extensions. I have whitelisted a few websites to save cookies from those special websites like online Banking and got an auto popup message "You are using an untrusted browser"

I had to use my phone to get a code from the Bank to continue. I use Biometrics to log into my Bank accounts and also many other websites I have installed on my phone.

Then I got another message and email from the Banks verifying I have a Trusted Browser.

Firefox is my default browser on my phone and my Laptop and always will be. Thanks for allowing me to write this message. I want to confirm this is not a complaint.

I need help setting my passwords in Mozilla and Firefox. I'm also confused as to what is the difference between the 2 entitities. If there is anyone to guide me would be appreciated.

The latest Firefox update installed itself upon opening Firefox. It did not include my personalization. Specifically: - The color scheme was changed to from white to purple making the screens hard to read. - The right side window that had my bookmarks sorted into folders has disappeared. So, how do I get my color scheme and book marks menu back?

After the last update, I have lost all of my bookmarks!! Why? I am really upset about this. Least of all, this is not acceptable. I had some really important websites in my saved bookmarks that I needed, now I am at square-one. I am not a happy camper. Leave our settings alone.....!! Now, is there any way to get our bookmarks back? What do we do? I really need help - any help, please...... Thank you.

I have moved my profile to a different location on the hard drive to make backups easier. How do I tell firefox where the profile is now located. c:\users\med\my data\PROFILES\mozillA\*.deFAUlt

Hi Mozilla. About once a day I will try to open a page on Firefox and I will just get a blank page with a red bar at the top. Often I will get a flash of the page only for it to disappear and I just get the white with red bar. Sometimes it happens when I click a link that opens a new tab. Other times it happens when I search using the taskbar (I use the Ecosia search extension). But honestly it just seems completely random. If I copy the URL into Chrome I'm able to access the website fine. I have tried disabling ad blocker and it doesn't help.

Please help.

The most recent update has caused an issue with LinkedIn. The problem only occurs with Firefox, not with Chrome or Edge. Do you know what it is? How to fix it? The profile photos are being overwritten with the name of the person and title.

My firefox broswer is starting super slow since the last update. I am on a windows 10 lap top running McAfee anti virus software.

In my task manager there are multiple firefox icons running. See the attached screen shots.

I copied one of the crash report into the note section below.

If any one know show to correct this slow start up pleas let me know.

I already have Firefox on my laptop and via Mozilla I was asked again to install Firefox. Furthermore I always got the question that I should use it as standard browser. I have no idea what else should I do in that case. If I would install again Firefox, I will lose all the paid apps which run already on the current version. So I am really very confused about the characteristics of this Firefox installation and the strange requests by Mozilla to install Firefox.

I would be delighted if you could me support with checks to find out about the nature of the current Firefox installation or a simple de- and reinstallation instruction of Firefox (and keeping the paid apps like Ad Blocker...).

In Firefox (up to date yes) when I embed a YT video to the forums I use, it comes up with an YouTube Configuration Error 153.

How do I fis this? YT embedded on Chrome & Brave etc play perfectly, but Mozilla always sends me to YouTube itself.
