When setting Thunderbird, I checked the email address and password several times. I entered my email address and password correctly.
However, I get a message that mailplug.co.kr and Pop3 are not connected.
Why not?

I have used Thunderbird portable for 20 years successfully. Now I am having increasing problems downloading messages--often it is new security measures, which trigger if I use a different computer. That's not the problem this time.
Many of the most frequent places I have used Thunderbird (at least four unique WiFi networks) continue to work fine.
However, at a university campus, where I formerly could use Thunderbird portable to download messages, now several accounts will not load my messages on any computer. However, other accounts will. I can successfully log-in to those accounts via a browser, but want to use Thunderbird not a browser. I have not changed my settings, so I have no idea what is going on.
Any suggestions?
