Currently when I click a link in and email, it always opens in Microsoft Edge even though my computer has Firefox as default browser. Is there another setting I'm missing?

please help me make my computer run better,i have epb fiber optics and its slow and im sure my programs and everything is configured wrong

I just want Thunderbird to show remote images automatically without me clicking the button. Just show all images. The setting you ask me to change does not exist.

I have been using Thunderbird for a very long time. Today is the first time I have seen this happen.

In the column on my left side that has my account and folders for those accounts it is showing 5 in my junk account. But in the preview window to the right of that column there is nothing showing as far as any entries as junk mail. It is completely blank. What do I need to do to clear this 5 from the left column Junk folder??

I have tried resetting the machine and that did not work. I even went into the webmail site for my email provider and there is no junk email showing there at all so as far as my email provider goes, it looks like everything is working there.

I had sync turned on before I reinstalled my OS, and now I have lost everything. Is there anyway to recover the stuff that should be there? Yes or no. If yes please provide steps, and not the self help articles here as they are worthless.

why is the icon even there or why does it have to disappear and then also change the tab size ?

1) if its there to enable you to play a tab in the background, then i want the option to switch the feature on or off (because i do not want to play anything in the background, atleast not via a 24/7 target practice with a mouse)

2) if its there to give you notice that there is a 'multimedia' tab open in your browser, then i want the icon to stay there and not dissapear plus change tab size...

like what is this even ? are we back in the 50s ?

Since the last update, I am gettin constant pop ups. I have the blocker turned on. I do have some websites exempted, but I did not make any changes. I get the pop ups all the time now. I used to be able to change the pop up settings on the search bar, but I don't see that anymore.

I have been using Firefox for years, but may have to switch back to Safari if this cannont be resolved.

I have just updated Mozilla/Firefox and opted for the VPN option. Mac desktop, MS Tahoe up to date, my nominated browsers are Firefox, Duck Duck Go and Safari.

So when I go to start my first search, why am I offered a window to type in my query which invites me.... search with GOOGLE...??? I want nothing more to do with gurgle, I have gone to lengths to avoid those bolld suckers.

I'm running Thunderbird most recent version. After changing my Google password, I can no longer connect through Thunderbird to Gmail. I've tried uninstalling Thunderbird and reinstalling. I've tried deleting the Gmail acct info from Thunderbird and setting it up again. I get the pick IMAP screen, enter my new Google password, then get a Google 400 error stating "The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried."

Any ieas?

For about a week now, I can no long read the comments on Huffington Post articles. Is it something on Firefox that's causing this? Previously their comments worked fine for me.

I'm using Firefox 150.0.1 on a MacBook Pro with MacOS Monterey version 12.7.6. I'm running Malwarebytes version 3.1.7 and have Huffington Post on the "allow" list.

That tab grouping "feature" really is too much like modern software developers' tendency to roll out a new "feature" and turn it on automatically no matter how annoying some users may find it. Some times when a mouse cursor goes too far and wanders into that tab zone, Firefox starts grouping tabs. Please allow us to turn the thing off.

I continually get this message from Thunderbird: https://p123-contacts.icloud.com is requesting your username and password. I have entered apple pw but it never stops. Anyone else seen this?
