Hello! I love firefox, but latest versions have a feature that disturbs me a lot. I’m using more than one screen with different dimensions. Then I move firefox window from one screen to another, firefox automatically adjust his window size accordingly. Please, tell me, how I can disable that feature? Thank you!

I have noticed that after using Firefox for a while when I close it the trace is left of the page I been watching or working in. Mainly it is visible through transparent windows (visibility stays after the Firefox window has been closed) and when the desktop background is changed to a dark blueish colour I can clearly see the faded Firefox page. Restarting PC changes nothing, the faded trace stays. It clears out after not using Firefox for a quite while. I really enjoy and prefer using Firefox to other browsers but this problem has been annoying me for a some time already. Any suggestions for fixes ?

several things that I want to resolve.

1) My Thunderbird on my Mac has suddenly started showing every email received as 2.

2) Since rebuilding my Thunderbird with the help of a volunteer on here it is very twitchy and often deletes what I have just written in an email when I go to paste a link or, some text on the same line.

3) If I have already put an email into a folder and then highlight several emails on top of each other to send them to the same folder by right-clicking it seems to open an email or, if it goes to the right drop down list you often have to keep your finger on the right click and scroll to the folder in the list and just let go to send them there. However, it rarely lets you right click to see down menu and allow you to scroll to appropriate action and just left click to send emails to the selected folder:

Since upgrade to 78.6.1 (64-bit) on Pop OS 20.10, I am unable to minimize the Thunderbird window using the title-bar button. I can right-click on the title-bar and choose "Minimize" but clicking the minimize button does nothing

I recently transferred computers, copying the folder in appData/Roaming to my new device. Everything works except for all of my recurring/smart todo tasks, which don't seem to update when I mark them as completed. Specifically I can mark them as complete, but after restarting the app, the tasks reopen as if nothing happened.

The task is attached to a calendar created in thunderbird, a screenshot of the calendar is below. This calendar is technically attached to a gmail account but doesn't appear to be synced with google itself.

I can confirm that this functionality works with normal tasks (creation and completion), and the email portion of this works correctly. Attached are pictures of the task itself as well as images of the calendar todo.

Any help is appreciated.

I have to migrate from a MacOS installation to a Win10 one of Thunderbird. What is the correct and safe way (and up to date!) of exporting email accounts and emails? thanks

On some login pages, the autocompletion of Lockwise doesn't come up. Here's an example: https://my.fileee.com/

Is there a better way to report these kinds of cases? Maybe a way to report it could be built into Lockwise? I'm sure this happens all the time on various sites...

I've used Thunderbird on Windows for years and have hundreds of messages saved in local folders. I "guard" 4 different accounts, 2 at gmail and 2 at my local service provider.

For several months now, when I launch Thunderbird I see it checking the 4 mailboxes and I see the correct number of new messages in parens after the mailbox name in the Inbox tab. But some of those new messages do not appear in the Inbox list. If I then click on each of the 4 mailbox names under the Inbox tab, the new messages do appear. Or, if I close and immediately relaunch Thunderbird, all new messages appear, no problem.

I've updated Thunderbird and Windows, yet the problem continues. I suspect a corruption in the TB database, but I don't see any options to clean, compress, fix the database.

Hello....I have a question out there from 1/16 saying that my Trash folder isn't working. on my gmail accoutn. It disappeared, so I created a Trash folder, but even though I have it 'pointing' to it, nothing goes in there.

I tried renaming it to 'Deletes', but that didn't work either.

I uninstalled and reinstalled TBird, but no luck.

Since Trash and Deletes are useless, I tried deleting them, but now the program won't let me. I suppose that I can drag and drop my trashed msgs into the Trash folder, but I am so used to the old way that I keep 'losing' deleted msgs. I like to keep them for 30 days just in case.

Btw, I also have a Verizon account set up and everything works perfectly with it.

I want to import my mobile Safari bookmarks into Firefox on my desktop. I have read many articles on here but none of them have helped. I had hopes for this one(https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1285031) but it was unclear whether the user was on a Mac or PC.

I have already installed iCloud for Windows and the iCloud Bookmarks add-on in Firefox. I have supposedly performed the sync operation already, but nothing seems to have transferred. I have neither the Safari bookmarks in Firefox, nor the Firefox bookmarks in Safari(which I do not want or care about as Safari will be deleted when I am done with all this) I don't see any options to adjust any kind of settings in either program.

I very much would like to get this iCloud thing to work. If that continues to be unsuccessful, is it possible to create an HTML file from the mobile Safari bookmarks and import THAT into Firefox?

Hard to explain why I am asking here, but here goes:

I am a reseller and use different sources. One of our vendor's websites is showing me retail pricing after I login. Our special prices used to (and are supposed) be visible. If you don't log in, no prices are visible. My sales rep asked IT, who said to clear cache and cookies. And again today, he said it is on my end, not theirs.

Of course, that doesn't solve the problem. Do not even know where to begin.

I stopped using Chrome a while ago and I use, ahem, Bing for searches. Sometimes, when I click on a link I get a "404. That’s an error. The requested URL was not found on this server. That’s all we know." while using Firefox. I copy the link and paste it into the browser Edge and the site comes up no problem. Does firefox used a cached version of Google while Edge does not? Is there a way to resolve this?

I decided to stop using Google some time ago so made the full time change to Firefox and a different search engine. A tad bothersome that Google is still there. Not really interested in going to MS Edge...

All of a sudden - Both of these websites below give me 403 errors. I cleared the CACHE, rebooted, checked the other settings - Nothing has been changed and I have the most recent FF version installed - 84.0.2 Also both of these can be accessed from any other browser - so it must be a FF issue.

I have used both sites for a long time with no access issues.
