I currently have this add-on installed. It allows you to you highlight certain text, then right click and open up a link to Wiktionary in another tab. Up until a few minutes ago, this menu item was at the very top of the list (i.e. above "undo" and all the rest), but now it's been moved down with all the other add-ons. Image for further clarity.

The add-on hasn't been updated in 6 years, so it's certainly not that. I don't recall doing anything to make it change, but before this, it had been at the top of the menu ever since I added it maybe 2 years ago. Is there any potential way to restore this functionality? The fact that it appeared at the very top of the menu might have been a bug, but if that's the case, it was certainly a convenient one.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to hearing from you fine folks in this community.

I don't know what happened because the browser was working fine earlier this morning and I didn't do anything to compromise it. I didn't go to settings and change anything. I suspect someone may have 'hacked in,' if that is still even a 'thing.' I think this because when I try to shut off my internet temporarily someone turns it back on and I usually have to 'fight' with whoever that is to get my internet to go off. I tried to ask google a question I wanted the answer to. That question was, how long does the flu last (because I have it or covid.) I also asked how long does covid last. What happened was that spinning thing where it was continually searching but never going to the site. Can you help, please? Thanks in advance if you can.

I'm trying to access a video on meethook.live. I did so in 2021 using the Firefox browser, but for some reason, it won't work anymore. The kind people at Meethook.live suggested using Chrome or Safari, but I don't want to use either of those browsers. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to change any settings to make it work. I tried a few security settings, dropping a few protections I had set up, but that hasn't helped. Can you suggest anything?

When I looked at my profile I find that there are several folders created for each of my email addresses at different times. I had wondered about the possibility of clean install of each of the accounts (IMAP) so this would pickup everything from the individual servers. Then copying across the local folders and my address book. Is this possible/feasible? Would it just be easier to import everything? Where is the address book stored. I also have TB backed up on an external drive (insurance). Thanks

bold textMy emails will not download. Optimum or Comcast or the Geek Squad will not help with 3rd party users. I dont know how to get them to download. I am using a computer that is stationed in Florida, so it has not been used in 9 months.

When I moved my data from my old Windows 7 to my new Windows 11 computer, I used a Mozilla account to upload and save my bookmarks. I then transferred my data using a different method.

I would now like to delete my data from this (Mozilla) site but can't find it. Please show me how to clear all my bookmarks, passwords (!!!), everything from this site.

I have a message showing as unread in All Mail, but it is not in my inbox, or in junk or spam. Where is it? I cannot find anything to say 'show location. It's a google account. Thank you in advance.

I use FireFox almost exclusively; however, I am now experiencing a problem accessing a Safe site, Vitacost.com. Now, whenever I need to access Vitacost.com to order products, I have to use another browser, Edge. Edge does fine. Why not FireFox?

For one email account in Mozilla Thunderbird, some messages are going directly to All Mail and are not showing up in the Inbox. I have no custom rules setup to cause this to happen. The only thing I see there is Spam Assassin. I'm wanting to fix this so everything appears in my inbox as it is confusing to have some messages go there directly and others not.

I use a password manager. Many of the web-based services I subscribe to use my email address as my user name - this is quite common.

When I am trying to login to one of these pages, your "Let Firefox hide your email address" message pops up over the selection box from my password manager. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to remove your message - which, in this context is totally inappropriate - but your message prevents me from logging in to my account when I need to choose between identities (example, work and personal).

Can I turn these messages off? or can you add a simple "X" to the window so I can close it without that action being picked up by my password manager?

After downloading Windows 11 the scroll bar for email lists in SmarterMail no longer appears. I don't have this problem with MS Edge, but I'd like to keep using Firefox.

I have tried Firefox supernova since October 10, 2023 bur encounter to many problems. Sometimes an email has a full page with error messages which I don't understand. I have been working in IT since 1960 at IBM but last year I had a bike incident and had a concussion for a year and forced me to teach myself to work with a desktop. Now I am backat last that I can use my competer again but Supernova is too unstable for me and I want to go back to Thunderbird old style. How can I install the Old Style Thunderbird again.

115.5.1. It has been months now since the redesign and this is still so buggy I encounter bugs constantly. Most critical is if I highlight something and try to drag it to a new location it gets deleted. No undo function available. What was highlighted is just gone permanently. I try to remember to instead copy and paste then delete from the former location but I keep forgetting and lose everything. Entire paragraphs I wanted to relocate. If I do try to copy and paste it doesn't paste on the first attempt. It pastes the second time.

At this point I think I have to switch to Webmail for sending out an email. I just can't deal with broken Thunderbird any more.
