Hello,

I just noticed & downloaded Firefox for Android Beta 81.1.0-beta.2 as I have been at my wits' end these past few days with the recent upgrade, Firefox 80.1.2 (which nearly always stalls with a blank white page)

Now I need my bookmarks so that I can work. They're all over on Ff 80.1.2 I have hundreds probably. Please help! I would like to delete the non-functioning Firefox 80.1.2 and throw in my lot with the beta version.

Thank you for any help.

(It makes me wonder how long I've been using a version of Firefox not intended for Android .... Can anyone tell me?)

Indudablemente, Chrome estaba cerrado.

Hi all,

MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) macOS Big Sur - 20A5374i Firefox 82.0b3

This is a rather weird one to try and explain.

Ever since macOS Big Sur Public Beta's -- and a mix of Firefox Stable and most recently, a few Beta versions the following happens:

When streaming any form of video/audio via Firefox -- YouTube comes to mind especially -- and swapping between tabs or other Windows or hitting screen resize, pausing/resume.. or just general usage while a stream is happening -- an incredibly weird "scratching" noise is experienced over the sound output. I mainly use the built-in MacBook Pro Sound.

Incredibly difficult to reproduce this, but I am not under high usage/load at the time that it occurs and sometimes am.

Will keep this thread updated if I find a way to reproduce -- but hoping someone else is experiencing this too to assist.

For some reason I can't log into Apples online developer site,

FF says

To protect your security, idmsa.apple.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window.

which takes you to https://idmsa.apple.com/appleauth/auth/signin?widgetKey=92f19b477c5c9be6ab17f3ec2b1b2b7db4d00a9a8c973e3d6c90dac08b91de71&language=GB-EN&iframeId=daw-73c470e4-b981-4226-ba0b-64a0627e5217&appId=632

All I get is a blank page.

Could not go through process of changing my password for a bank website, called bank, it was suggested to clear my history and cache in Firefox, I did so. This allowed the automated process of changing my password to process through ok. I could then not sign in to that website or another site with firefox. either auto sign in or manually entering my credentials. I can sign in to all my websites in MS Edge. Not in firefox. I have cleared my cache and the "Corrupt cache" file. also checked the error log and it is not being caused by a security certificate issue. Can anyone assist me? I would appreciate any help. It is not critical as I can sign in through a different browser and it is only happening on a couple websites but it is annoying. Thanks Art

The scroll bar on the right of my screen disappears when I sign in to "The Guardian". This started within the last week. It works OK when I sign in to my other on line subscriptions (NY Times and Washington Post) and all other places I access. It works OK when I do a "Safe Mode" load of Firefox. I have explored the few Add-ons and Custom Settings but have not been able to determine the cause. I am having this problem on any of 4 different computers currently running Firefox 81.0 and Windows 10. Microsoft Edge is working OK if I use it.

Any help would be appreciated.

on a Google meeting, that is, a meeting created in Google Calendar that generates those automated Google meeting URLs:

when I share my screen, I also want my mouse cursor to be shared, because it's very useful to use it as a laser pointer so the audience in the meeting knows which part of the screen they should be looking at.

I couldn't find any feature at all within Firefox or inside the Google meeting settings [as the meeting is happening] to turn on my mouse cursor sharing.

On Chrome the mouse cursor is shared by default when someone shares their screen, which is desired behaviour.

It's a local problem with Firefox because other co-workers who have identical computers to mine use Chrome and I always see their mouse cursor when they share their screens. I'm on Windows 10.

Is this something that Firefox has the control over to turn on? Or it this outside of Firefox's controlled and controlled by Google?

Hi all,

Currently on the latest beta on macOS Big Sur v11 beta (20A5364e).

Crashing of tabs has at least been resolved since previous versions but I am having an endless usability issue. I can have 2-5+ tabs open and clicking on the tab itself appears dead/unresponsive. Clicking a few more times (in different areas of the tab) or selecting another tab then switching back results in the tab being selected/usable/active again.

I am unable to find any common way to replicate this or reason for it - the sites in the tabs are always very much different. It's not the web site that becomes unresponsive as even when opening multiple 'new' tabs, the same issue can occur without even loading a site.

Detailed version info included.

I encountered a webpage that cannot be displayed normally again, from mafengwo.cn, which is a very aggressive Chinese website and always forces users to install their App.

http://www.mafengwo.cn/poi/75497300.html

The original page is http://m.mafengwo.cn/...., which keeps letting me download and install their app, so I changed it manually to www.mafengwo.cn/.... and switched firefox to Desktop mode, and it displays as the screenshot below. But this page is displayed correctly in Via browser and Samsung explorer (both based on Chromium? )
