I was using Ad blocker extenstion and youtube videos stopped working, so I deleted the extension and still have the same problem and youtube videos doesn't play and give me warning messages what can I do,

After opening Firefox and then minimizing/closing it, there is a corner of an advertising page remaining visible on lower right of home screen. Normally an ad for something like Norton or similar. Can be eliminated by right click on title bar. How do I keep it from appearing.

Recently, in the past month or so, I have been having issues with my VPN addon Private Internet Access, my email provider Shortwave, and loading numerous websites. I tried troubleshooting it for a few weeks individually but it took a full Firefox refresh last week to get things working again. And it took only another week for everything to stop working again. The images in my emails are no longer loading (same issue as before), but they load in Gmail and I can download the emails properly, my VPN addon crashes and can't stay logged in same as before, and websites such as Nextdoor (I hate the drama but love the free goods) won't load the items for sale same as before.

I don't want to have to refresh every week, especially since I this is the computer I use for work and the amount of things I have to log back into is insane.

Clicking on Firefox icon to log in I receive following message and gray screen. firefox.exe - Entry Point Not Found " The procedure entry point Flush could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\xul.dll." Followed by another pop-up. "Could not load XPCOM" There was an automatic up-date several days ago and I have had this problem ever since. Is there a fix?

get663.com Loads randomly on the browser. I delete it and it returns on a random basis. Is there a way to prevent it reinstalling? I have to remove it 10-15 times a day. Thanks, Andy W.

I booted up firefox and clicked on youtube and I got the message please diseable your adblocker. I specifically came back to firefox after a year or 2 of not using it because I read that it will be intependent and will have working adblockers on youtube even when Microsoft edge,Opera and other browsers will bend the knee to Google. So what happened??? Why did the adblockers stop working on mozilla firefox? I have windows 11 and ublock origin as my add blocker. As it was recommened by most sites saying it was the best way to dodge youtubes anti-adblocker system. But now my adblocker no longer works on youtube.

I keep getting promts to update firefox to the latest version about every 10 days, why is this? or could it be a scam? I find it unusual to get so many prompts popping up quite regularly to upate firefox, most other programes that I run on my win pc don't do this

while using the site https://animesuge.to/home and using any server other than filemoon, the audio will either play for split second and then mute, or it wont play at all. The video itself plays fine. i tried it using other browsers and it works fine, it only happens while using firefox. i tried turning off all extensions and running in troubleshoot mode but neither of these helped.

All of a sudden FF is refusing to resolve web sites I've been using for years, like Reddit and my ISP (iinet). All of a sudden they've all got bad certificates (SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER). It can't be right, I'm not talking about a lot of sites, all at once, all at the same time. Something is broken.

For example, https://webmail.iinet.net.au/ is not dodgy, it's my ISP (part of the TPG group, second biggest in Australia, been around for many years). And since I can't access email I won't necessarily know when you've responded.

I had an email [edited] @drowlin.tech which I no longer use. It was connected to a firefox account, which is now redundant. The email I now use is [edited] @gmail.com. I have tried to get the account closed, but security checks have prevented me from doing so. The same for the email [edited] @yahoo.co.uk, the firefox account it is connected to, is also redundant.

     Any help to close these accounts would be much appreciated.

Another problem I have is I had two aliases [edited] @relay.firefox.com and [edited] @relay.firefox.com used in an early version of Monitor both of which I want to discontinue. I haven't been using Firefox for awhile since i lost my old laptop and phone (to be exact its 4 years or so) and now im back on using it, but i was unable to log in to this exact account at first since this what was prompted when i try to use my password (image one), i did try ask for a password recovery which the same error appeared but for some weird reason after trying it on the mobile version it let me use the google login and im able to get access to it. but it still wont let me change password, add passkey or add 2FA. is this some weird issue going on or am i missing an email or something??

I recently purchased a Sandisk Ultra Flair flash drive because I wanted to password protect some files. The flash drive requires me to download the Private Access software from the Western Digital web site. When I try to do this the Mozilla browser states "Malicious Download Detected" and cancels the download. Does anyone have any suggestions? I went to the Privacy and Security part of Settings, and unchecked the Deceptive Content setting, but Firefox still would not let me download the software. Perhaps the change to the setting I tried did not register in Settings, but here I am asking for your help. Thanks.

Firefox is not allowing me to use my prefered font for websites that I visit. This seems to have happend with a update to the browser as I never had a problem before. I do everything that is explained in the HELP section, but still fonts are choosen by the website. I do have "let websites choose their own font" unchecked. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have been using Firefox for years. Recently my browser developed a glitch. I uninstalled Firefox then reinstalled it. That part went fine. I find the newer version very user unfriendly. There is no home page button and I cannot figure out how to add one. Your bookmarks are awful. It tries to be intuitive but in the end all it does is takes 3 to 4 steps to do something that used to bee done in one. This is not an improvement. I want a bookmark list not a not a most recent list. This is a major pain in the a.. . I do not want to stop using Firefox but this user unfriendliness is a major problem. Not quite sure what to do.

I can't access my account anymore, this one was created by linking the mail address used for the account which apparently i never did. I tried every password i commonly used and none of them worked, so I think that this one was auto-generated and then saved, in my firefox account... What is really killing me is the 7 years of bookmarks and password that are locked behind this password, i can access the account by password recovery but that would defeat the purpose since I just learned that its linked to my data. I just changed my OS back to windows so file recuperation is gonna be a pain/impossible. The way i understand things i have to make my peace with all the websites I accumulated for years (and also the PWs) or wait and don't touch my PC because the firefox folder that was deleted was on the same HDD that i used for the new OS. Of course all of this wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have had a problem to my phone and send it back to the constructor for the warranty, which means if I'm not mistaken that my account just lost it's last link to me, except the auto-destruction button. Is starting to learn cryptography my best bet to reach my account ? Or is there something I didn't cover and there still a way ? Please tell me it's still possible.

I am hopeful you will be able to help me. All open tabs NOW disappear after power failure or Comcast temporarily loses service or I restart my computer. This never happened to me before ~ if my computer was affected by outage or I manually restarted it a message came up to click on asking if I wanted my tabs restored. 1 click and they were restored ~ that option is not available to me now. It's frustrating and time consuming for me to "look" for, and "try" to find those tabs I had open. If someone does respond to my question I won't know its been done unless I receive an email because I'm not certain I can find my way back to this support page, primarily because I cannot remember HOW I even found this page in the first place! I bookmarked this page so perhaps I will be able to return to it. Thanks for the "How to restore tabs" help I HOPE you can give me. Marilyn West
