yOUR LATEST UPDATE HAS RUINED MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE USED TO BE GREAT FIREFOx. How can I get back the tabs with the "=" sign to add new tabs like it used to work before? I am having problems navigating and I have spent countless hours being very frustrated trying to fix the useless new tool bar view. Its just a waste of time. Please, help us fix this, I don't want to go wake and broke!

I'm having a problem sharing websites with others via, for instance, Signal. Telegram, WhatsApp or a social medium. There used to be a share button in the toolbar, but this I cannot find anymore. At some time there were also the three dots in the address bar that dropped down a menu for the page, which included a 'share' option. These dots seem to have vanished. Also I vaguely remember that the "share" function was also in he tab context menu once upon a time. However dropping down that menu does not reveal any "share" function presently. Then there was, if I remember correctly, the possibility to click the File menu at the top of the screen and then click on the Share menu item over there. But also there the "share" function seems to have vanished. I also looked in the settings menu, to find if there is a setting there which switches on or off the sharing function. I could not find such a setting. In short, it seems that I am horribly overlooking the "share" function. Please help me find it. Thanks. (Firefox 112 for Manjaro Linux)

Help! My Dell Windows 11 laptop got stuck in a bit locker/advanced repair loop, and I had to reset my laptop. Told the laptop to keep my files. However, I’ve lost my tabs I had open, and no history. Tried to find previous Firefox profiles, with no luck. Any other advice? Or is it all lost

I have honestly no idea why you guys don't have an option to be able to put the tabs bellow the address bar like in the old versions of firefox. I used the userchrome.css for a long time to place the tabs back on the bottom of the address bar and at the minimum once a year you guys break the program. Is it so hard to program a switch or something to place the tabs on the bottom?

I recently updated the Firefox app on my iPhone through the App Store. When I re-opened the app all my previous (many) tabs were closed. There’s no option to restore the session and while I still have history of “closed tabs” it doesn’t actually show the tabs the were closed as a result of the update, just the tabs I had closed before the update occurred. Since I’ve had some tabs open for a long time and I open and close tabs very often looking through my entire history isn’t a very viable solution. Is there some other way to restore my previous session like there is in browser?

I’ve never had an issue like this before on my laptop/windows. Thank you for your help.

Since yesterday’s update, whenever I try to touch the address bar to enter in something (anything at all), it flashes for a bit and doesn’t do anything. It’ll show the search engine and go back to its usual state. I’ve never had this issue before.

I’ve tried redownloading the app on my iPad (Silicon iPad from 2022. Firefox and my iPad are at the latest version.), but nothing’s worked.

I’m out of options. Can anyone help?

put the + back for new tabs. I hate hate hate hate that I have to go all the way over to the 3 lines for a drop down menu for new tabs. it's such an easy fix to put the plus sign back. why do you make simple features SO DIFFICULT

I had many tabs open in firefox on my iphone, which were unique and not open in firefox on my laptop. Inhad kept them there for a while because theyvwere important. I happened to tap on 'pick up tab' from my laptop in order to work on something from my phone for the forst time. This looks like a new feature that I didnt notice before. It opened that tab but immediately closed all of those tabs I had kept opened. It also deleted and overwrote all of my iphone history, so that everything exactly matches my laptop. If I go in my iphone's firefox history it does not show those old tabs under recently closed tabs! I can't find those anywhere. Help! Had I known it would do this I would have made sure to save the tabs and history somehow! How can I get my iphone tabs and history back?? Thank you

By mistake, I close a window with lots of opened tabs and can not get them back. In the past when this happened I went to history but now there's no available option in "recently closed windows".

Procedure 1. Open Firefox iOS 2. Open some pages 3. Force-close the app 4. Open Firefox again

Expected result - The tabs that previously opened is kept and possible to access

Actual result - The tabs exists, but displaying default new tab page, cannot visit the page - pageback/forward is not working - All tabs are affected

note - By pressing down pageback/forward, there is history which says "internal://local/sessionstore?url=..." is generated. - There are some people on my local app store (JP) complaining the same issue. - After erasing and reinstalling the app, this issue happened again.

The app is almost unusable because of this bug.

I've done a bit of searching and I'm surprised nobody else seems to be discussing this issue.

It appears to be related to the fact that, if I haven't visited a tab in more than a few minutes, when I reopen that tab, Firefox reloads the page. I completely understand why this is done, and I still think it's a poor choice. Half the time it takes me away from the actual page or content I was looking at, and starts me over from the entry point (think infinite scroll type pages). There's a refresh button for a reason. Do less, Firefox.

But the problem I'm having is that this auto-refresh feature is broken. About 10% of the time, it just shows me the tab home page. It doesn't even reload the site. The address is not in the address bar. The refresh button is grayed out. Sometimes, if I wait long enough (30-45 real, actual seconds - feels like a very long time), the page will load. Sometimes. Most of the time I have to go into my history and re-open the tab that way. Sometimes it will go from the home page to a blank white screen, as if it's about to load the page, and then stalls there - again, nothing in the address bar, refresh button is grayed out. Depending on how far it got in this process, I may be able to swipe down to initiate a refresh, and if that works the page will usually load from there.

Is there a setting where I can disable this auto-refresh feature? Can I extend how long it keeps the cached page? Can I make it so that when I re-open the tab, I'm reliably back where I was? I thought that was the purpose of tabs?

About a week ago I started getting these message windows 'Gah. Your tab has crashed.' I have never seen these before now they're everywhere. I have tried all the Troubleshoot procedures and nothing seems to help. I've done all the cleanups and checked the add-ons but there is nothing new and no changes I am aware of.

I was browsing through Firefox and as usual I had more than 30 tabs open. I have set them to never close and move old tabs to inactive ones. I was watching a video in a tab and closed Firefox then open another app in cellphone and then after some hours I reopen Firefox and there was only 1 tab (wordreference.com) What happened to the other 30 tabs? They're nowhere. I looked for support and there are many threads and videos for the desktop version but almos inexistent for Firefox Android version. There must be an explanation for this issue and perhaps a solution or workaround. Thank you.

Because I was getting frequent and numerous pop-up boxes asking for my Firefox Primary Password, even though your site claims you no longer use or require one. based on advice from a Cox Complete Care Technician, I set one up. I am still getting as many annoying pop-ups as frequently. Sometimes my primary password entry makes the pop-up disappear. Just as often, my PP entry makes the pop-up pop-off momentarily and come right back on minus my entry with no explanation or rejection message. Why is this happening? What is the point? Every single day I need to go through my history and reopen all of my tabs that I previously had open. I have no idea why they keep closing, but have done so since the most recent update. I’m honestly ready to switch to a different browser until this gets fixed because I’m losing my mind over it.

Hello, This is the second time all open tabs were closed after a update. What the hell! In the past there were never that kind of problem. You don't know how much work that is for to reopen all tabs again. Why does that happen?

Hi, this has happened twice recently where I have had a number of tabs open on firefox on my phone and suddenly they all vanish. They do not show up in recently closed. If they were marked inactive I have no way to access them. I have no idea what happened but it’s really frustrating as between the two times this has happened I have lost probably 150+ tabs.
