Hi!

I signed up for a private email service and they recommended I access it thru thunderbird.

To sign up for thunderbird I had to use my gmail in order to access the verification number.

Now thunderbird has downloaded my entire gmail account AND made gmail my default opening on thunderbird which is the opposite of what I want.

How do I remove gmail from thunderbird and how do I set up the other service?

When printing directly from within Firefox, my printer Epson WF-7610 prints in color even if the setting is B/W. I am running Win11 on my PC and Firefox 111.0.1.64bit. When I download the pdf and i then print on the same printer from within adobe it prints B/W. I have seen other people have similar problems with other printers etc but I cannot find what is the fix. Can you help?

I was wondering if the ability to move the new supernova bar below the email tabs (and menu bar) is still going to be possible like it was in Thunderbird version 110; Since 112, its been stuck above both the menu & email tab bar, with no in GUI ability to change it location.\

When I open a message to read it, I can't get back to the inbox. Sometimes the "shrink to taskbar" button does the job; lots of times it doesn't! Sometimes if I go to the Thunderbird icon

Sometimes when I go to the taskbar, both the read and inbox icons are there; more often they aren't. (WIN 10)

I haven't been able to find an answer on the web- I read that Thunderbird is one of the only emails that allows you to use Google Fonts, or any of your desired fonts.

How would I upload my desired fonts to the system for use as my default font? And is this what my senders will also see? Or only myself?

When I copy paste a table from Excel to Thunderbird new email, it looses all formatting and gridlines. I saw some solution that you have to copy excel, paste word, copy word, paste thinderbird excel. But this is just a time wasting procedure. When this can be done seamlessly in outlook, why cant be done in Thunderbird.

This is what is most important as most work is now done on excel and sheets and if it cannot be copy pasted direclty, Tbird will loose its clients.

I want to backup my emails on my computer, is it better to backup the profiles folder or to select all emails and save as .eml in a folder?

Is there a way to see saved .eml files back into Thunderbird as a nice list with titles, sender, timestamps, etc. instead of just being able to open an email individually with Windows Explorer without re-importing them to my email provider using their storage space?

Is there a way in IMAP to keep every emails regardless of if I've deleted the emails in the web interface of my email provider?

No sound on browser only. None of the listed Firefox troubleshooting steps solved it. My system sounds and media player sound are working but nothing from the browser on any websites. This just started yesterday. Re-setting Firefox did not fix the problem.

I just changed my gmail account andam trying to set up thunderbird to be my email client. I keep getting stuck at the Gmail signin window that pops up after the confirguration window. I enter my email account in the gmail window and it pumps me back asking for my email acount again.

new email is [email]@gmail.com

I can't see all my local folders, can't see my "out box" I know the folders are there, I think some how I need to reload the tree or have it re sync. any help ??

Please help, i am a doctor and need to access my emails. This AM my snet.net account cant be accessed thru thunderbird but can be accessed directly thru the att website. I have long been a financial supporter of thunderbird and need to access my various email addresses thru thunderbird. I can still access emails thru my other optonline email address appearing in thunderbird but not snet.net. Please help, thank you, Dr. Stan .
