Clicking on a certain link does not do anything in FF but works fine in Chrome

Hi, I created a sign in to a particular account for a website using FF about a year ago & used it several times without issue. I haven't used it in about 6 months & now when I try to sign in, nothing happens. The mouse pointer turns to a pointing hand when I hover over the sign in, but that's it, the tab doesn't refresh & no new tab is opened. It doesn't look like FF recognizes this as a link.

When I right click on other links I get the option to: Open Link in New Tab Open Link in New Window etc...

but when I right click on this link causing me issues, I get: Save page as... Save Page to Device etc...

It is as though FF doesn't see this as a valid link. I'm using Windows 10 64 bit & FF version 103.0.1 & have FF set to automatic update.

I've run FF in safe mode & no change, suggesting it's not my add-ons.I've Googled the problem & seen examples of what look similar, but no solution seems to work. In particular I've tried the suggestions from https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can but none helped.

I don't have any issues with this link in other browsers. Chrome opens it up in an instant & I'm wondering whether it would be just easier switching to Chrome as my default.

I'd love to stick to FF as my default, can anyone help?

I deleted a scam email and since then I have a rotating blue ball at the base of the cursor. I have restarted my computer (an I Mac) twice. I have gone to preferences and deleted passwords as shown by the help section. The deleted email did not show up in my trash folder and it is gone from my email list. Help!

I am trying to check in-store stock of an item on a website. When I click to check stock it opens another page but the only thing on the page is the browser frame with the word "safe" in the upper left corner. The links work on all my other browsers. I have used troubleshooting mode and refreshed Firefox but it continues to happen.

Why filter with "from contains" matching criteria not filtering as expected?

So I created a rather big filter with like 100 any of matching criteria. One of them is From contains "@smarty.sale". This filter just marks messages read, sets junk status and moves mails to a certain folder. As you can see in screenshot, this mail is not gone to junk folder(as lots of mails from same sender). Thousands of others with other domains in conditions, on the other hand, have been successfully handled, so the filter itself is surely working with some mails and not working with others.

I can look for and share more examples of filter not working properly, if needed. Interesting case was: 1. contains "humblebundle.com" not filtering large number of mails 2. "humblebundle.com" changed to "mailer.humblebundle.com" 3. than mails are filtered, but string that contains mailer.humblebundle.com surely contains humblebundle.com, as it is a substring

Greetings--

I had to reset my computer, and in the process, I lost Thunderbird. Upon re-installing Thunderbird, everything went really smoothly - however, I notice now that when I type, let's say, the first one or two letters of an email address in the "TO" line while composing, the name and email address no longer shows up so that I can click on the one I want. It's almost as if my address book and my "Write" area are not communicating.

How can I get it so that when I type in the first letter of a name, the list of addresses show up to pick from?

I've been using Firefox for 25+ years, always keeping it up to date. I've been a customer of CIBC Bank for 20+ years and using their online website since its beginning. Last week I've been unable to login to my accounts without going thru an inconvenient and time-consuming telephone code procedure every time. Previously, this procedure had been in place only occasionally as a secondary method of identification.

CIBC advised changing my anti-tracking and cookie settings. After trying all the alternatives, there was no change. Checked out Edge browser, and it was the same. Checked out Firefox and Edge on a second computer and it was the same. Installed the Chrome browser, and it works fine!

No problems accessing any other website. Anyone ever experienced this? Any suggestions?

There is this weird bug(?) that popped up like within a day or so. When searching for some terms with Google in Firefox, the search result would repeat itself. For example, searching for terms like "ab", "abc", or "hgi" would result in two searches, but not "def". So let's say if I search for "ab" twice, I would get 4 search histories of "ab".

One curious thing I noticed is that if I already have a non-blank tab opened before the search, going back to it and then going forward to any search that would repeat itself would prompt it to produce two search histories again. The problem to this is that if there were other searches further up the tab's histories (I usually search for multiple things within the same tab), they would essentially be lost (I turned off search and form history) when the search repeated itself, since it would act like I made a new search of the same term.

I have updated the Firefox browser to the latest stable version 103.0.1, and the problem persists. I tried to replicate this on Chrome to no avail. It's irking me to no end, so any help is much appreciated.

Hi there,

I wonder if anyone can help me. I have created an email template using BeePro for my business to confirm bookings and details for customers to pay deposits etc. On BeePro you have the option to export the HTML code so you can use your own clients etc. which I have done and inserted it into a blank email in Thunderbird.

The main issue I'm having is; when I send this email using Thunderbird, the formatting gets messed up on the recipients end, on mobile devices in particular - I've attached some photos. I've also attached photos of Thunderbirds composer where the formatting seems to be correct. BeePro offers the service to send a test email, I have done this and the formatting is perfect when viewing on mobile - I've also attached photos of this.

The second issue I'm having is the images don't seem to be loading when the email has been opened - these are hosted externally on my website and linked in the HTML code, however seem to work fine when composing an email in Thunderbird. I'm not sure if this is a Thunderbird issue or external however I do currently have a more basic HTML template I use for this purpose that also has my logo sourced from my website which works fine.

I've downloaded the latest version of Thunderbird (102.1.1) thinking I may have had an out of date version installed causing the problem however this hasn't changed anything.

I've been scratching my brain for the past couple of days trying to figure out what the issue is however I'm having no luck searching the web! I've tried contacting Bee support and yet to get a response.
