When I compose a message, I can access only the main email adress from my contact when I open the contact window. How can I do that ? is there a recommandable addon abble to do that ? I wanted to set up a filter sending a copy of e-mails from a particular sender to another e-mail address (within the same company) but I did not find such an option. There is only a possibility of forwarding the e-mail to another address.
Would it be possible to add it in the next release please?

I would like to upgrade my o/s to Windows Server 2012, however I need to know that Thunderbird email client is fully compatible under Windows Server 2012? Otherwise I will stick with Windows 8.1. I just trashed my server, so I am having to reimage Windows on my Drive C:, and was considering upgrade to 2012, or stay with 8.1.

I am trying to upgrade from ESR to Release. I saved my profile successfully, went to the install page and clicked Download. Got a request to donate, which I did. Then I got a page saying Thank you, Finish installing and enjoy Thunderbird. But there is no way to finish installing and I never got a download file. I've tried multiple times, nothing happens. I can't seem to find the configuration option in Thunderbird to have the following information added on top of the emails I reply to:
From: <original sender>
Sent: <date-time>
To: <list of original recipients>
Cc: <list of originally copied recipients> (if applicable)
Subject: <original email-subject>
Priority: <priority of the original message> (if applicable)
Sensitivity: <sensitivity of the original message, i.e., Private, Confidential, etc.> (if applicable)
This information appears on the email I forward, but on my replies I always get is a line that reads: "On <date-time>, <sender> wrote:"

I can get 200 emails in one day, all with attachments I need to process. At present, the only option for me, in Thunderbird, is to view each email and click on the attachment. If you've ever tried doing that 200 times in a matter of minutes you will appreciate that it's not a good solution. Eudora, which I was using prior to using Thunderbird, but which is old and has problems running properly with the latest versions of Windows, automatically saves all attachments in a specific directory.
Can we please have, as a user-selected option, automatic saving of all attachments in a directory specified by the user? Those who don't need it don't have to use it; those of us who do need it will be saved a lot of time and effort.

I have checked if I could still get in the mail through the yahoo website and I had no problems, so it´s something that has changed with Thunderbird.
