How do I create a strong password with Mozilla's Password Manager when I'm not prompted by it to do so? And, also can it be used to generate a password for something that is outside of the browser?

Hello, After performing a clean install of the OS, I logged in to my firefox account. But it is not syncing the passwords. I tried installing firefox to my phone, also not syninc. For some time, maybe 3 updates ago, when I open Firefox with my many tabs, I have this problem. The first 3 tabs that I close leave a blank space the width of 3 tabs on the tab bar. After that any new tab opens to the far right spot at the end of the blank area. This happens in a private window too (extensions closed). After I close a session, then reopen later, all my tabs are still in place but the first 3 that I closed reappear where they were at the start. Strange.

When is do a search in Firefox I noticed that it now searches with "rini.drorinat.com" is this still Firefox or have I been violated? I tried to look up this site but no success, could you help with this asap please?

Now that my browser is Firefox I cannot get to my email or anything else on my computer. What must I do??? At one point I was signing in to Mozilla Firefox and it said that account already exists. How can I block the google account sign in dialog box on weather.com. I can't close it or get rid of it. It permanently obscures part of the screen. I use Windows 11 and the most current version of Firefox. This problem began within the last few months.

Old laptop died , its not repairable, but the SSD Hard drive is OK , all the data on it and software is intact , but only thing I cant find or access is Firefox bookmarks and thats bad as i use them for my work ...what can i do to recover my bookmarks ???

My bookmarks toolbar is showing, but it's empty. All of my bookmarks are gone.

I went to a websites and attempted to add it to my bookmarks toolbar, but Firefox failed to add it to my toolbar.

I upgraded my Dell PC to Windows 11 yesterday via Windows Update, since support for Windows 10 is ending. Now Firefox crashes often when I close the browser. Everything works fine while I'm using Firefox, it's only when I close the browser that sometime later I will get a crash message on my desktop. I have tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it, and the problem persists. From what I can tell, there's some process which is ongoing after the browser is closed, which isn't terminating properly and that's why it's crashing. I have submitted several crash reports, but don't know how to post them here.[bp-2e2d8f06-4c87-43a6-8b32-b0f5a0251006]

When v143 was released something happened to the shortcuts row(s). Regardless of refreshing efforts, rolling back versions, and searching the forums, there's no way to consistently get the shortcuts back. Sometimes they appear with a new browser instance, sometimes they don't. They don't appear with new tabs, and they don't stay when they do appear with a new browser. Grrrr. Please restore the shortcuts!

I hit a shortcut, I think, and heard the trackpad, then one of the three open tabs was isolated from the rest in a separate, almost chromeless window.

It's not in the taskbar pop-ups but instead has its own icon. In this 'chromeless' window there is no option to add a tab or window, there is no area to move it (I have to carefully use emtpy space in between buttons to move it). The top just fell off, that's basically it.

I have never seen this and have been using Firefox from the start way back when. I didn't install anything; this just happened as I was reading something and accidentally touched a key. Nothing changed, no settings were adjusted, nothing.

This option is not in the tabs menu or anywhere. I must say I kinda like it for this one 'tab' (which is a solo chromeless window) but I do need the menu and so on for productivity.

One of the screenshots shows this 'window', the other shows that 'window' is not part of the regular pop-up tabs in the taskbar but rather has its own icon, as if it were an app, in that taskbar.

What in the world is this? Can someone help?

Things like, "set firefox as your default browser" and "open firefox when you start your computer?".

I don't want pop-ups from ANYBODY, but especially not from the browser. It defeats the whole purpose of blocking pop-ups if the browser itself is interrupting me with garbage I dont need.

How do I turn these off? There don't appear to be any settings, and every google search brings up disabling pop-ups for every other site.
