When I open a website, the message "Firefox is already running" comes up every time. Task manager says nothing is currently running. I have to click "close Firefox every time I go to a website. Can you help? Thanks Alan Murray

I am sick of the unannounced updates that occur without prompting me. Edge doesn't do this and I'm fed up with Mozilla unannounced updates. Going to uninstall Firefox because of unannounced updates.

Since an update several days ago I am unable to link to sites or email addresses I receive in emails. Serious time waster. Also in some accounts I have had for years they don't recognize my password any longer when I try to log in via a link from an email.

Search doesn't work. I type in the address bar or open a new tab and type in the search box, which goes to the address bar, after I hit enter the google search shows in the address bar (https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=test) but nothing happens. no spinning, no error message just nothing. I've tried other search engines, same thing. It does work in troubleshoot mode and incognito. I do not have any extensions or add ins and use the default theme. No updates are available, I've cleared history (works very temporarily), & reinstalled.

We are facing some issues in the Firefox console tab. Sometimes, this problem stops our application or else we always see this error in our console tab. I have been having an issue, since just before the update to 100, where Google sites stop responding. Gmail will display banner at the top "OOPS - The system encountered a problem...", Google search from the search bar will do nothing, Google Maps will not load and any google web page will not load or refresh. Closing Firefox and restarting it will fix the issue, temporarily. At first I thought it was any web page, but I have tested other search engines and web pages, using Firefox while the Google pages are unresponsive, and it is limited to Google pages. I can open the affected Google pages with Edge, while Firefox is still "locked out".

Has anyone else noticed this issue?

Please fix the abovementioned problems,make a browser bit faster,improve the consistancy of the browser so that it will stop crushing.Please make it stop alternating or change mail pages.

Just now, I tried to use "Email Link..." under the File Menu and got a pop-up asking me to "Choose an application to open the mailto link." I have seen this before, several times, and usually fix it by going to Tools > Settings, under General > Applications, select "mailto" under Content Type, then select Gmail from the drop-down menu.

This time, however, Gmail is not presented as an option, in this pop-up. Clicking "Choose..." just opens up a Windows Explorer file-picker window.

I tried to fix this in Tools > Settings, under General > Applications. There, "mailto" just shows "Use other..." and if I click that, the "Select Helper Application" pop-up window is basically blank, with a message at the bottom saying "No applications were found for this file type."

I refreshed Firefox but it did not solve the problem.

I'm running v100.0.1 (64-bit) on Win10. I've seen others report this problem but haven't found a fix listed anywhere. <Ctrl-P> or Menu->Print results in the same problem. The print overlay starts up (say Print in top right corner), spinning wheel above Preparing Preview in the center of the overlay... Never ends. I have to Esc to get out of it. Happens on any page. Print dialogue works fine on same pages with Chrome and Edge.

I've always used Firefox as my default web browser. Now that Microsoft Edge got loaded onto my PC I can't access a lot of my bookmarks through Firefox. I get an "access denied" response. I've tried removing MS Edge but it won't let me. Is there a fix for this problem? How do I remove MS Edge? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank You. Dale P. Following site is immediately hijacked to a scam site asking for login apparently to access private info. It happens with Firefox (only) whenever security setups are set "not to track", "not to prompt for passwords", "not to prompt for credit cards" "no history" "reset of cookies at logout" etc.. then the site below: http://thaimassage-herborn.de/ is redirected to SCAM SITE: https://xb7.serverdomain.org/admin/index.php appearing as "Adminpanel" asking for Login etc..

At the same time following site is partially blocked on the news banner pictures, with a white sheet over them, whenever down scroll is hit. https://www.tgrthaber.com.tr/

Only by resetting firefox deals with the issues. But ofcourse with the reason, above security settings removed.

Virusscanner was not able to detect this hijacking or the reason behind.

Is this a firefox software issue? Is there a way to resolve this? Thank you already for any support or suggestions to resolve.

I accidentally deleted gmail.com from my web history and now i have to type it fully every single time. it's annoying! how do i recover it from saved websites?

I'm using Firefox 100 on Win10 and can't save any bookmarks. They do NOT appear under the App Data Profile, which would not be acceptable even if they were. This change has made it impossible for me to continue using Firefox, unless I want to go back to Win7.

I simply need Bookmarks to work the way they did before!

I can no longer print from firefox. The final print always comes out 1/5 +- size and is unreadable. It doesnt matter what king of a document it is and if I go to chrome or edge it prints fine. This began occurring I believe after the last version.

Hi, Could someone tells me how to deactivate the startup popup upon each firefox start which says (translated) "thanks this is 100th version of firefox, start navigation", or is it to stay until the 1000th annniversary ? Thanks

Digital signature was working properly since yesterday ie 20th May 2022, but now its stopped working, what will be the reason, Digital signature process stuck and not proceed further, if you kindly send me setting of firefox for DSC i will always be greatful to you. thank you.
