I am using VPN and have excluded FF using split tunnel, so I enabled Secure DNS in FF with Cloudflare. When I first launch FF, I get a blank page and nothing in the address bar. After that, I can open all webpages just fine. It's only that first page right when launching FF that doesn't work properly.

When visiting Springer's websites (and others), I cannot select any text using Firefox (but I can with Chrome). I cannot find the setting to modify to enable this ability (text selection).

At some point Firefox stopped allowing me to drag tabs or bookmarks around. This includes moving tabs around in their order, dragging a tab into a new window, dragging tabs into bookmarks, moving bookmarks around in the browser. I can't drag them around in 'manage bookmarks' either. I can still open and create bookmarks; they are simply much more difficult to place where I want them.

I believe this happened with the last update but it's not a feature I use all that often so it could be older.

I have opened Firefox in safe mode and had the same issue. I have turned off the computer several times since this began.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have 6 websites that I currently cannot sign into using Firefox. Support tells me to use those two crap browsers Chrome and Edge. I end up using Edge because it is embedded in my computer and I cannot delete. I will not install Chrome and have put on Avast Secure Browser and CClean browser. Both are just Chrome with a new gooey. My Father is also having the same trouble. Most of the sites are for Utilities and rewards programs. Avast is also blocked. Are you aware and working on getting this fixed?

Fire Fox (Mozella) browser appears to be censuring content? In Fire Fox, when I read Fox Digital, I cannot see the comments any more when I’m signed in nor, signed in or not, the display boxes containing X posts and links. In the Federalist articles I can get the comments when I’m signed in, but the X content in them are not displayed. Comments in Yahoo are missing too. I tried changing Browser Privacy settings in Fire Fox, turning off my VPM, ad blockers, and tracker blockers but it does not correct the problem. All this content is available in Duck Duck Go and Edge browsers. Perhaps I have something I’m not aware of turned on but… Here’s two links to check out in Fire Fox then another browser.

Running Firefox 133.0.3 on Windows 10 22H2

The last week or so, when I try to download my photos from iCloud, Firefox blocks the download, saying it contains a virus or malware. Of course it does not - it's a zip file of screenshots! Running a scan on the folder once unzipped confirms there is nothing malicious in it. Can you fix that please?

On certain websites, I see that the background color of the new tab page replaces the default background color making the content unreadable, example:

Here's what I see (see the firsrt attached screenshot). Now, if I open the same URL in Private browsing, the background color changes too (see the second screeenshot). In the 3rd screenshot I'm adding the reference rendering, that's how I expect this website to render (Edge).

In the screenshot 1 and 2, the background color is exactly the same as the one used by the new tab page when I open a new tab.

Questions: 1) Why is that? 2) Can I change that?

Hi there, since yesterday I'm dealing with numerous functionality issues when I use Mozilla Firefox on my laptop. I've noticed that the last update was on 29/10/2024, so that could be the problem. The problem is that when I browse the tabs are crashing and that happens almost every time I browse after a few minutes (sometimes seconds) and it happens with many different web sites. Since mozilla is the browser that I use most this is making my life real difficult. Thank you in advance, Sotiris

There was a pop-up on my Mac'S Firefox asking if I allow Firefox access to my local network devices. I clicked on 'No' And obviously now I can't access for example my router's webpage or any other webpage fromo any devices on my local network. How I can switch it back? Internet access is working fine.

Since the 132.02 certain eBay items will not display its shipping info. Only on Firefox. Its not addon because I disabled all and I have the same addons installed on edge and all good there, I can see the shipping info on edge. And its only about 50% of the items which is weird. I have done the basic troubleshooting and I have to think it was this update. If you see the images attached Shipping values should be displayed. Some have a $ value some say +shipping, those are not displaying the value. Please help me figure this out as I use Firefox ALL day but if this continues I HAVE to switch. Ebay is my main source of income now.

My computer died about three days ago, and firefox had three windows open. When I rebooted the computer again, firefox automatically started up, and the flyout panel thing that shows up when you right click on an app claimed that all three windows returned. However, only two of them were actually accessible, and clicking on the app to move between them and the F3 window confirmed this. Clicking on the third window accomplishes nothing, reveals nothing, and just moves the little checkmark around in that flyout panel. Closing the other two windows before restarting firefox does not open a new window because it thinks one is already there, but I cannot in any way see or access it outside of its label in the flyout panel. Even hitting "Show All Windows" just shows the window I am typing this in. What am I supposed to do here?

For the past few weeks when I click into the URL address bar, I get a popup window covering the entire Firefox window (see screenshot). This is really annoying, as I have to escape out of this to get back to the window. It makes more sense just to place the cursor in the URL. Is there a way to disable this? Or is this a bug? Or is it a problem in my installation? I'm running Firefox 133.0 (64-bit). Thank you.

I only go out on the inet from my desktop a few times a month so I previously just tethered the phone and got online that way.

I just upgraded to a new Samsung Galaxy S24 which is a 5g connection. I can no longer get the desktop Firefox (130.0) to connect thru to the inet. The phone and desktop know about each other and I can xfer files back and forth. The phone uses Firefox android no palm.

Has anyone tried this yet? Is there some kind of phone setting for 5g? I had no trouble at all with old phone (android 4) 4g connection.
