firefox opens cars4all.biz everytime i try to open any website. I open yahoo or any site it loads and 5 seconds later the page is redirected to cars4all.biz. when i search it does the same thing. every page i open gets sent to the following site www.cars4all.biz

Hi All,

Our company has decided to move on to IE8 from the big'ol trustworthy IE6. I have had problems with IE8, so want to try Firefox before accepting IE8 is the way to go for my team. (Also, I guess IE8 cannot be uninstalled or we cannot go back to IE6. So I want to install IE8 only when absolutely necessary.) I have a question regarding this.

The most important reason why browsers are important to us is that we post log files in the morning. It makes our job easier when we have one location to view all the logs first thing in the morning. So we have a html page with links to the relevant log files.

IE6 has been very kind in this aspect. If I set .log files to open with a particular application on Windows, then when I open the same filetype on IE6 it opens up on the same application. For example let us say I set the file to always open up with an application 'xyz' on Windows. Now when I open it on IE6 it opens up in xyz.

Is this possible in Firefox? If yes, how?

I have an application that adds symbols for No errors, errors and warnings. I have set my log files to open up in this app on Windows. But, as far as I have tried, my log files open up as text file every time on Firefox. With this app I only need to read the logs if I see a symbol for Warning or Error. So with this in mind debugging a log file as text is a PITA. Any help would be appreciated.

Before the most recent upgrade to Firefox 3.6.8 two weeks ago, everything worked fine with this program. My issue is, I can not copy and paste a URL address from You Tube and download it into a program called Audio Editor. After the upgrade, when I copy and paste the URL address and start to download, there is no download. The message No File Downloaded, please try again. It is like there is nothing there. It worked great for a couple of months. Is there a setting in the new version of Firefox that prevents me from copying, pasting and downloading from You Tube?

When typing into a form, (ie a zipcode) you will begin typing amd the character you typed will highlight/select it self. Your next keystroke erases and the new character appears. For example. typing in the zip code 12345, would reult in the 5 showing up in the box.

When searching specific sites on Google, the result displays in purple and Google shows how many visits I have made. I have cleared my recent history, my cache and even tried changing the colors of visited sites... Nothing works

Please help or at least explain the issue

I am running firefox version 3.6.8 with a win XP system. I can no longer click on a link in my aol mail. There used to be an option within the body of the e mail that i used to be able to click which would allow me to enable the link in the message and now that doesnt appear anymore. I try to click on a link and the toolbar on the bottom looks like it is trying to connect but it never does

This is a RtlpWaitForCriticalSection crash and I read the article on dealing with it to discover the probable cause. However, I don't know what the file is and how it could interfere with my web browsing. Any help? I also noticed that I'm getting frequent crashes with other browsers as well (IE and Chrome, Safari seems to work fine). My most recent crash report is linked below:

My computer shut down for updates overnight. I turned it on this morning. I needed to print out a couple things from Firefox. The printouts all came out in a large format. The print was larger then normal. Only about 2/3 of the page width actually printed out. I experimented to locate the problem. I tried two different printers, both with the same result. I printed out directly from two others programs (Outlook and Word) and the printouts were normal. So it's when i print out from Firefox that the problem occurs. What can I do to return the printing to normal size?
