Hey all, I just updated my firefox and there is one thing that is bugging me. I have the bookmark sidebar button on my bookmark menu. Previously i would click the button and the sidebar would show up and then once i removed my cursor from the sidebar the sidebar would go away.
Once i updated it the sidebar stays unless i click the x, hit ctrl+b, or hit the button. Over all this is rather annoying and i enjoyed that once i was not moused over the sidebar it would automatically close the sidebar.
Iv checked through the options and I dont see what I am looking for, unless iv just totally missed it.

I'm also getting a error message "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem. " I have a MacBook running Mac OS X. Also my passwords are all gone and the me Booksmark Toolbar. HELP!

I deploy my application on a local server on http://localhost:8080 Now, when I go to Firefox and enter the address, I get this error:
Cycle Detected: Description: Your request is prohibited because it would cause a cycle. When it occurred for the first few times, I thought Firefox installation got corrupted or something like that, and so re-installed it; the problem is still there.

FF was running fast and stable until the Beta update tonight. Afterward it crashed repeatedly, sometimes with a total system lockup, other times with an unresponsive system, occasionally with a Video Driver failure leading to a BSOD.
I had to DL 22 release and roll back. I'm now on the release channel, not the beta channel.
System config: Dell Latitude 6410, Win 7 x64, 128 GB SSD, 4GB RAM, Intel video hardware. Everything is up to date.
Trying to get this out before it crashes again then switching to 22.
Java plugin is usually disabled. Toolbars are ABP, download status bar and Disconnect.

When I get mail alert in Gtalk and if I open the mail it promptly opened in Mozilla only.I was using 23.0b 6 version.When I upgraded this to 23.0 b7 gmail from g talk is diverted to IE even though Mozilla is set as my browser(default). I deleted23.0 b7 and upgraded to Mozilla 23.0 b8.still the problem remains.i did try all the possible changes and it never helped.I finally decided to turn of IE and the gmail through gtalk is not opening (even in Mozilla). All of these crash reports and dozens more are what I've been experiencing within the past few days of Firefox crashing. It has gotten to the point now that I'm nearly about to give up using Firefox.
Please, if there's anyone who can help me out as soon as possible, I gotta know what's going on.
I've done the reset of Firefox, I've done the Safe Mode with Firefox, I've even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. This....just...keeps...HAPPENING!!! Same deal with Java itself, I've uninstalled, reinstalled, and tried to even go with an older version. This....just...keeps...HAPPENING!!!
Anytime I go to a Java-used site like Facebook, this keeps happening, and has been frustrating to no end.
Please, if anyone can figure this out as soon as possible, I really appreciate this, but I'm now at my wits end and I need to use this browser instead of Chrome or any other one since I'm trying to look for employment.

I just updated to 23.0, and for some reason changing the search engine in the search box also changes the default search engine in the URL bar as well. I'm not sure if this is intended functionality (I hope it isn't), but it is kind of irritating. I wasn't sure if it was related to an addon I installed around the same time, so I tried disabling that, but the problem was still there; therefore, I'm tentatively assuming it has to do with 23.0.
