How can I move the Open Menu (hamburger) button to the Left side with Firefox 60 using CSS in the Userchrome.css file?

I want to combine two customizations in Firefox 60: 1 Move the tabs to below the Address bar and Bookmarks toolbar; and 2. Move the Open Menu (hamburger) button to the left hand side in Firefox 60. Unfortunately, "customize" does not allow one to move the Open Menu button in FF60 (it is greyed out in "Customize"). I can do each of these steps separately with the following CSS customizations in the UserChrome.css file inside my profile, but am not sure how to combine the two together. For 1. the following works: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1185426 For 2. the following works: https://github.com/Timvde/UserChrome-Tweaks/blob/master/hamburger/move-to-top-left-Linux-Windows.css but combining them messes up the position of the Open Menu button - I am not skilled in CSS. Can anyone suggest a CSS that will do both tasks together? Or is there a simpler solution to both that I am missing?

The two CSS respectively are: 1. Move the tabs to below the address bar and bookmarks toolbar: ________________

/* Tab bar below Navigation & Bookmarks Toolbars
  For best results, show Title Bar or Menu Bar */
  #nav-bar { /* main toolbar */
  -moz-box-ordinal-group: 1 !important;
  border-top-width: 0 !important;
   }
    #PersonalToolbar { /* bookmarks toolbar */
   -moz-box-ordinal-group: 2 !important;
   }
   #TabsToolbar { /* tab bar */
 -moz-box-ordinal-group: 3 !important;
   }

________________ 2. Move the Open Menu button to the LHS: ________________

/*
 * Move the hamburger menu to the top left, before the first tab
 *
 * Contributor(s): Alex Vallat
 */

#PanelUI-button {
  -moz-box-ordinal-group: 0;
  border-left: none !important;
  position: absolute;
}

:root[uidensity=compact] #PanelUI-button {
  margin-top: -28px;
}

#PanelUI-button {
  margin-top: -30px;
}

:root[uidensity=touch] #PanelUI-button {
  margin-top: -36px;
}

#TabsToolbar {
  /* Ensure the padding is always present even when maximized */
  padding-inline-start: 40px !important;
}

Every day when I open Firefox I navigate to one specific page (aspx page hosted within my organisation) This page requires authentication, I provide the credentials and most of the time am able to access the webpage. However, I frequently get the error message "Not enough memory is available to complete this request" Once this message has occurred, I cannot access the website until the hosting server has been rebooted - be it days or weeks later.

Google chrome is able to access the web page at all times with no issues - but I would rather be using Firefox. I am running Firefox 61.0.1 (64 bit). Starting Firefox in safe mode did not fix the problem. My computer also has a very ample supply of memory (rarely ever exceeds 40% usage - and most of that is Firefox!)

I hope this gives you enough information to find the issue. Thank you very much in advance.

Imagine that I'm on a website like example.com and I click a button. Looking at my browser's network tab, I can see that the page has sent a POST request to example.com with some data and received some data back from the server.

I want to be able to:

  • Edit the data before it is sent to the server.
  • Edit the response data before it is handled by the function.

I'm aware of Firefox's "edit and resend" feature, but I want to tamper with the very first request before it reaches the server.

I've been searching for this for hours but all of the answers appear to be outdated due to browser updates. What is the modern approach to doing this?

I have been having this issue for months now. Every time I search for something which contains terms like "rogue", "malware", "virus" firefox closes without any notice. This first happened when I searched these terms on youtube and google.

Is some sort of malware trying to prevent me from searching the term "malware"? Also, there is a similar question here which also states that firefox closes when the term "rogue" is searched for but I can't view that question because every time I try to open the question my firefox crashes because it contains the term "rogue" ...

How do I fix this issue? Please help me out, thanks.

How can I disable totally SHIFT + 7 in Firefox ?

There is a reason for it. We use a barcode scanner to transfer data through firefox. This Code contains "/". Because of this char, firefox automaticaly starts the search bar.

Firefox self-updated to ESR 60 this morning, without warning me that I would lose most of my add-ons and configurations. I understand that FF 52 has a limited life, but this is not a good week for me to have to deal with this because I am on deadline. I need access to my add-ons that I had last night so I can finish my project.

I would add that I did indeed click on the "about this update" link, but it goes to a "not found" page.

None of the links on the Mozilla website to the old versions allow me to download ESR 52. Even the link that says "download older versions" only gives access to ESR 60.

How can I go back to what I had an hour ago?

MOZILLA: This is absolutely unacceptable. You need to warn your users about what a huge update this is before it is applied, and you need to give people a window and not just force it all of a sudden. I had heard this was coming, but I had no idea that this was it.

I'm using a variant called Waterfox Portable, it was behaving just fine until I changed my GFX card, I can still use it but I had to enable my menu bar at which point the whole window paints just above the screen (about -50px), if I don't enable the menu bar the address bar gets cut off instead from being painted yet the whole GUI behaves as though it is painted as a result I have to click below what I want to get what I want. Is there anyone who knows how to potentially fix this?

Why did Firefox Quantum stop supporting the Weather Channel website's hourly forecast pulldowns, while Edge still supports them?

When I'm on the US Weather Channel's website (I use the URL of "https://weather.com/weather/today/l/USMA0518:1:US" ) for the "Hourly" forecast pulldown menus for where I live in New England. When I click on the "Next 8 Hours" text at the bottom of the basic list while browsing with the latest version of Firefox Quantum (v.62, in 64-bit version) to view the next eight hours' worth of hourly forecasts, NOTHING happens to reveal the hourly forecast updates; while on the version of Microsoft Edge (currently dated for May 21, 2018) clicking on the "Next 8 Hours" actually reveals "the next 8 hours" of weather forecasts, like Firefox Quantum USED to.

I use the latest "v.1803" version of Windows 10 X64 for my operating system, and so far, where I'm someone who DOES need to check the Weather Channel for such forecasts as a "matter of routine"...should I simply drop Firefox Quantum 64-bit for MS Edge, or can the strictly 64-bit Waterfox browser be a better choice (AND still allow me to use that "Next 8 Hours" pulldown, as Edge still does)?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice!
