Hello Support,

I upgraded my FF browser to 102.5.0 esr and lost all my bookmarks. The upgrade saved old data Users\.....\Desktop\Old Firefox Data\naaf009b.default-esr\bookmarkbackups - however the json file looks like is overwritten or cannot be inmported to FF browser - When I do Import - backup - the current file is backed up but the old file is not found...

Is there any sam=ne way to get my bookmarks back? I was not signed into my browser either.

Whenever I try to visit https://www.doordash.com/ in Firefox I get a web page that states --

Hmmm! The page you're looking for must be here somewhere... error code: 404 ERR_004 Maybe you'd like to go back home

What is this nonsense?

I'm trying to sign into/sync Firefox on a new phone. It keeps saying I need to get code from authenticator app. I don't have one! I try to scan IR code from computer, but it still requires a code. Sometimes it says it is sending a code to my email address. It does not. I ask it to resend code but it never does. I am logged into Firefox on my computer, is there a way to turn off the authenticator or otherwise solve this problem?

I have yahoo mail on Firefox. When I try to print to my Brother printer the page comes out blank accept the address line. If I use Microsoft Edge(not my preferred browser) it prints no muss no fuss. WHY??? Don I need to change some setting in FF or is there a problem interacting with ATT Yahoo. Never used to be a problem.

I having an issue running applications and opening all sorts of files I have downloaded with the browser. Media files, APK, pdf are the types of files I have downloaded and none of them seem to be opening. I even tried renaming but they still don't open. I downloaded the same files on a different browser like operamini and the files open on my fone

Text rendering is totally jacked. Not just special characters but all text on a select number of websites that I have been visiting without any problems for years (Online Banking Account, SalesForce Log-in screens). The Repair Text Encoding button under view is greyed out as well. Any thoughts?

I've recently encountered a curious issue with my Firefox browser (Firefox version 102.0, Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.25145.1011). At seemingly random times it will freeze for between two and five minutes (roughly). UI elements become completely unresponsive and the cursor does not update when moving over the browser window. The window will not minimize. Yet, Windows Task Manager does not report the application as being unresponsive. While never a common problem, any freezes in the past would eventually cause the Windows Task Manager to identify it as unresponsive.

I have disabled "recommended performance settings" and hardware acceleration to no avail. Everything seems perfectly normal immediately before and after the freezes, and I've yet to identify how I can trigger them. I do not recall having made any changes to my browser before the freezes started occurring, though multiple Windows updates have taken place since then. If I'm too impatient to wait I will end the Firefox processes via Windows Task Manager and restart it so I can return to my tabs without having cookies deleted. I have 13 plugins mainly covering privacy/security concerns. Is there some sort of debug tool I can engage to see what's occupying Firefox while it's frozen? I've just found the Firefox Task Manager, and will see if it can offer any additional information during/after the freezes.

Hi, I recently installed Dracula Dark Theme 1.9.3. I really like the theme itself but I dislike the way it changes some webpage's css too. Is there anyway to disable the modification of website's code while keeping the theme of the browser? Thanks

In the last couple of days I cannot log into Twitter in Firefox. I get a message that something is wrong "but don't fret, it is not your fault". When I hit Refresh, it works, but only once. What is wrong? I have the latest Firefox version. Thanks

Yes, I read your post about stopping the repeated prompts for the master password. You say go to settings, stop using a master password, restart Firefox -- then sometime later, you could start using one again. Wow. Please. There are times when I do not want to enter the master word, even when going to sites for which I saved passwords. For one thing, I can leave my computer for a while, without having to restart Firefox, lest someone has access to all my sites. But the prompt -master password "required"- comes back again and again. It can be ignored, and I can go to any site and log in (it's not really "required"), but the prompt comes back, again and again. You've received several complaints about this. Please, why can't you do the simple programing task of an option the user can select, saying "don't ask again (until you restart Firefox)."

p.s. if you can't manage that, please change the existing prompt to more honestly read: "Enter your master password. Firefox thinks you're an idiot for not entering your master password, so even though it's not strictly required to sign in to web sites, we're going to ask you again and again, unless you go the trouble of stopping use of master word and then the trouble to restart it. Because that's how Firefox works, and our programmers don't know how, or we don't care enough, to give you the option to suspend this prompt."

I have LastPass extension active in my Firefox browser, however it does not work. When opening my Firefox browser the LastPass icon in the upper right corner remains black with 3 white dots, not functioning. On other browsers the LastPass icon turns red, functioning. How can I get the LastPass to function? I have been forced to use Edge as my primary browser where I prefer to use Firefox. Please help.

How do I block autoplay vedio?

I know I can block Audio and Video, but I just want to block autoplay video. As if I use the block audio and video it will mute all videos I open, and I need to unmute it every time. I just want autoplay to not start, not mute the video too.

I am not happy. For years now I have been using Firefox problem free on my one and only laptop, running on Windows. Today, my streak was broken and the source of my unhappiness is that my usual Firefox password is not being accepted. Before continuing, (a) I am no computer whiz, totally self-taught by a really sketchy individual...ME ! (b) I have done nothing to cause or contribute to this problem. Powered up, was asked for my password (one and only I use ) typed it in...and NOTHING....ZIP....ZILCH ! Few things piss me off more than simple things not working for no apparent reason, like a password, that has ALWAYS WORKED FINE. (c) I am already unhinged by a number of things, the pandemic, Putin's War, the economy, living as a pauper and more. Because of that and a few more things, I am ready to put Mozilla Firefox in my rear view mirror......and carry on with the recommendations present when I first bought thus unit. (hint-Using Firefox was NOT one of those recommendations). btw I thought it was a nice touch by Lenovo to install a rear view mirror on my refurbed Lenovo T430s....I BET NOBODY ELSE HAS ONE ! Be that as it may, and help out there as to how and why my password would just stop working? AND, if someone can offer help in answering that, how about throwing in a QUICK FIX....or a SLOW FIX ....OR ANY FIX..... Thank you Brothers and Sisters of The Universe. At the moment I cant use PDF.js on Mull, based on Firefox nightly, meaning I also have about:config features.

Pdf.js is turned on in all settings, why isnt it shown? Is it even available on mobile? The annotation feature is pretty great and I think no FOSS app can do that at the moment, so really important, especially on Tablets.

Congratulations! You have made both Firefox and Thunderbird unusable. With the latest Firefox screwed up update I can no longer get my bookmarks to show in a column on the left side of my screen. With Thunderbird I can no longer get my addressed to show when I try to send an email. Will you please unfuck your upgrades. I will now have to use another supplier. Guess I won't be sending any money to support mozilla.

I've been using Dashlane for a long while. It stopped working, so I deleted it to try to solve the problem. When I tried to re-install it, it won't work. I just keep getting an error about it being corrupted. I've restarted the computer, closed Firefox. It's the same. Dashlane tried to trouble shoot with me, but they have not solved it either. It worked on Google Chrome, but I cannot get it to work on Firefox. Firefox is my browser! I need help to get Dashlane installed and working on it.

I have tried with different commands lie ctrl+w,Ctrl+alt+F4 , like this everything is used to closed current tab or entire browser .I tried the other way right click on tab> close all tabs But i need a shortcuts to close all tabs except the current tab which were using. Immediately following a Firefox update I began having scrolling problems on my Facebook page. I am able to scroll down normally to a point, and then, all of a sudden, the scroll bar will go up and immediately go back down without me touching the mouse. It will continue doing the up and down scrolling indefinitely and at a high rate of speed. I have tried turning off auto scroll and smooth scrolling at the browser, but no luck. I have Windows 8.1. I have never heard of anyone else having this problem so this seemed like my only option.

I am constantly annoyed by the ever present "notification" to update Firefox to the latest version. There is no easy way to get rid of the nagging notice. PLEASE NOTE ::: I DID DOWNLOAD AND UPDATE MY PC TO THE NEWEST VERSION WHICH DID NOT LIKE AT ALL !!!!

You need to add an option for user like me who have done what you asked and did not care for the result. IF YOU THINK PEOPLE WILL LEAVE, PERHAPS YOU ARE RIGHT ... IF YOU GIVE THEM THAT CHOICE. I PREFER TO SEE THE CHOICE TO KEEP WHAT i HAVE AND NOT GIVE IN TO THE LATEST WHIM. So, if your product is so good, why not let us decide to stay with the version we are using and not be nagged into a new one we will not like.
