The previous version allowed me to have Firefox as my browser and Brave as my search engine. Now Brave is both my browser and search engine. In the general settings, it says Firefox is my default browser. I'm confused. I just want to be like it was before the update. Please help.

We are experiencing an ongoing issue with Firefox that persists even after performing the following troubleshooting steps: - Uninstalled Firefox completely. - Removed all browser add-ons and extensions. - Reinstalled the latest version of Firefox. Despite these steps, the issue still occurs: Browser crashes, pages not loading, extension not working. I can NO longer log into my BANK, I changed the security settings back to "standard" but I STILL CANNOT LOG INTO MY BANK. it's website acts as though I'm a new customer & want's me to open an account,I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT & HAVE HAD AN ACCOUNT AT THAT BANK FOR MANY YEARS! I have jumped through many "loops" at the bank trying to fix this mess, but they can't,FIREFOX IS NOW THE PROBLEM & someone needs to find out what they changed in their updates that has prevented me from logging into my BANK.

When pasting an image from the clipboard in Outlook Web Access in Edge there's right mouse button option to "Paste as Image". This places the image inline. In Firefox there's no option like this.

Safe mode (troubleshooting mode) doesn't fix this. Ctrl + V or Shift + Ctrl + V doesn't fix it. Shift RMB to get Firefox menu does show Paste and Paste without formatting but it doesn't paste any inline image.

I would like to know how the Firefox CVEs are affected on its version which are mentioned in NVD.

Let take mfsa2025-59, for example CVE-2025-8040, as per the NVD its says Firefox ESR < 140.1 is affected so does that mean it affect all the version which are lower than 140.1 which included the ESR 128 and ESR 115 versions or just the ESR 140 version series? then it raise on more question check this cve-2025-8029 in NVD it has specifically mentioned it only affect "Firefox ESR < 128.13, Firefox ESR < 140.1" and not the ESR 115 versions. Could anyone confirm it does not affect the ESR 115 versions or it affect all the versions? Now check this one cve-2025-8027, NVD clearly mentioned "Firefox ESR < 115.26, Firefox ESR < 128.13, Firefox ESR < 140.1" are affected so what I understand is that if the Firefox ESR 115 is vulnerable to any CVE it would be mentioned in the NVD specifically.

My point is that if any Firefox CVEs are listed in NVD and it specify only one version like “Firefox ESR < 140.1” what does that mean? Does it affect all the versions which include ESR 128 and ESR 115 or just the ESR 140 series version only affected? If any CVEs are affected on the ESR 115 and ESR 128 does Mozilla specifically mentioned those versions are affected right? Just like its mentioned in the cve-2025-8027

Any help would be appreciated to clarify this.

When following the instruction to sync bookmarks on Android phone it leads me to items that are not there. Open Firefox mobile on phone. Ok. Hit the 3 dots drop down. Ok. Choose sync and save. Not there? I click my email and it shows sync. I click that and it shows the last time I sync my phone. 0 minutes. Ok. It shows a QR code to scan from the Firefox app. It instructs to click ready to scan. That's not there either. If instructions lead you down paths that are not present, the instructions are useless. Anyone else having this experience? Thanks..........

When I contacted my CU, they said to add an URL to the Manage Exceptions. This worked, but I want to know why Firefox needs this but Chrome doesn't.

Is there a way to completely opt out of having AI in my browser?

I find recent implementations of AI in Firefox quite frankly disgusting. I don't want to see it, I don't want to use it, I don't want it suggested to me. Not only it's unneeded, but also all your LLMs are a waste of electricity, fresh water and are a threat to my privacy, and we don't even mention all the legal trouble AI scraping creates.

I need a switch to completely remove any mention of LLMs/AIs in my Firefox browser unless I search for it on the internet (and, trust me, I wont; I'd prefer to continue thinking for myself and having real people with skills and talents do things if I can't do them myself) and have none of them touch me in any way. Kill that thing with fire.

Ideally Firefox, one that advertises itself as a secure browser with respect towards its users, shouldn't have any mention of AI in the first place, you know. But since companies are in a craze about it for some unknown reason (trust me, we don't want it; if I want to be lied to, I'd go to a paediatrician to talk about my symptoms, not a language model I can't trust with my data), at least give your users an option to get that awful thing out of their browser it they want to.

I have just upgraded to version 145 and the title bar has disappeared Even though I have the Title Bar option checked in the customize firefox panel. If I uncheck the title bar option and then check the title bar option, the title bar will appear, but when I close firefox and then restart firefox the title bar is gone.

I have Firefox installed on three Windows Desktop Computers. On one, I just cannot delete Bookmarks, no matter what suggestions I try. Verify Integrity of the database produced no results. I do not, for a variety of reasons, sync bookmarks (or anything else) between the three installations. Experienced user that has spent far too long on what should be a simple issue.

Pressing "enter" seems to double space next line my text automatically on platforms, and pressing "alt+enter" does single spacing next line. Is there anyway to change it to single spacing? Some older help threads mention going to settings or tools to find the "composition" option but that doesn't seem to exist anymore?

I am so tired of the stupid banner popping up every time I put something into full screen, that says "press escape to exit full screen".

FINALLED, I TRIED THE DEVELOPER VERSION: NO MORE CRASHES! I READ THE RESPONSES FROM YOUR CLUELESS STAFF TO OTHER CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME TROUBLE. THIS IS NOT A WINDOWS ERROR; THIS IS A FIREFOX APPLICATION ERROR. MAYBE SOME OF YOUR FIREFOX DEVELOPER CODERS SHOULD ASSIST THE 32-BIT AND 64-BIT DEVELOPERS. I was asked to create a new profile in order to keep using Firefox, despite never having an account. After I clicked okay, it opened the new version of Firefox, but without all the passwords, bookmarks and history of the past few years. This is really inconvenient. I have since then made an account, but the fact that I can't find any of this data anywhere has me worried that every time I update Firefox it will wipe my account.

Firefox kept eating my RAM, running dozens of processes. I have gone into about:config and set the dom.ipc.processCount to 1 - then I restarted Firefox and found 5 processes running straightaway before even using the browser. I closed it down and have started it again and now there are 11 processes running with just one tab open. The problem repeats on three different computers which are not infected with malware. One computer with slightly less RAM I now cant even use Firefox at all (though all other browsers work fine) because the tabs constantly crash due to the high number of processes. Is there any way to set the process limit low in a way that Firefox actually responds to?

mozilla won't save my previous windows and tabs even though i have that check marked in the settings. it's been like this for months. to keep them i've had to keep my pc on for moths. help, i'm thinking of leaving Mozilla because of this, it's incredibly frustrating to lose all my work every time.

I'm facing an issue where my microphone does not work in Google Meet when using Firefox, even though I’ve granted all necessary permissions. This problem is specific to Firefox, as the microphone works perfectly fine in Google Chrome.

I prefer using Firefox because of its convenient screenshot features, but this microphone issue has caused major inconvenience during important meetings.
