I have a custom image for my business email signature on Thunderbird desktop.

Im trying to get Thunderbird mobile to use the same image, or HTML signature when sending business emails from mobile. All i can find is a simple text input box for mobile signature. It doesn't accept html or images.

Running on a Samsung Galaxy S21, Android 14, One UI version 6.1. Android security patch Jan 1, 2025.

I've tried both the most recent stable version of the Android Thunderbird app as well as the beta version, both from the play store. Both successfully import from the desktop app using the QR code. At least the process seems to complete without any glitches and my two mailboxes show up on my phone.

I'm connecting to servers at Pair networks, which works from the Thunderbird desktop (Max OS, Sequoia 15.3). I have two mailboxes, both routed to the "unified" view.

I'm pretty sure the mail servers are running IMAP, but there's always room for doubt.

I'm assuming that the little circle of arrows in the menu for the unified view does a manual sync, although I reconfigured the polling for 15 minutes and waited significantly longer than that and still nothing.

I can send e-mails from my gmail account and they arrive at the desktop app in short order but don't get to the Android app. I'm assuming here that both the desktop and Android programs will get all emails...

I am running BitDefender on my phone, although I've tried disabling that and still nothing when doing a manual sync.

It doesn't appear that I can send e-mail from my phone either. Messages just sit there in the outbox, even after clicking "send messages" on from the three-dot menu drop-down. I can send e-mail from the desktop client.

I have the app running on my laptop all this time.

I'm at my wit's end, any suggestions?

I would like to be able to view "only on" email inbox at a time (not the unified) inbox.

This is in my Thunderbird email.

Desktop works this way and is great.

I don´t know the password. Can`t I change the password?

I have now entered all possible variations of passwords, but nothing fits. I have signed in to Microsoft, can still access my account, but no longer use it. This password is not accepted either. So I can`t create the QR code.

On my dektop windows 11 I have installed thunderbird , and on this a newsreader who works. On my smartphone samsung s23 android i have installed thunderbird. I exported the account, but the path to my newgroup is missing. How can i istall the newsreader on my smartphone. Thank you for help Friedrich

Hi, I have been a Thunderbird user for 10 years. I recently decided to install the mobile version on Android (Samsung Galaxy 23). Everything went well, I synchronized accounts using QR codes, but I don't know how to synchronize folders with emails. I found a couple of pretty stupid methods on the net using conversion to PDF and uploading them to the phone, but that doesn't work for me. I would like my PC and phone to automatically synchronize and when I receive an email in my inbox, it should be displayed on both devices. Is this possible and if so, how do I achieve it? When will TB (or K-9) for ANDROID be able to connect with Hostgator email (IMAP preferably)? I follow the settings for manual set-up that Hostgator provides, and they do NOT work on either of your Android apps. They do work for TB on my desktops (Windows and Linux). And I can use K-9 for other email providers (one of which requiring manual settings set-up too)

It's a known issue on the internet already from my researching.

I called Hostgator, and they said it's a problem on the app side (Mozilla). (Then hung up on me. Smooth.)

Please advise if there's some special setting required. Thx.

I just switched from Blue Mail to Thunderbird on Android.

First s big thanks for finally making Thunderbird on desktop touch friendly, this was long overdue.

Now to my feature request for thunderbird Android. Please allow (or just enable my default) that the controls to search in mails/delete mails etc are moved to the bottom of the screen so you can easily reach them on as mobile phone (just like blue Mail does it).

Second smaller request: please make the email list less "crowded" somehow the fonts and density are hard to read. Again have a look at blue Mail for how to do this a bit better. Could also be an option.

On the account selection screen on the Android app, it uses the first two letters of the account name inside the displayed circle so you can quickly select a different account to view. My issue is, two of my accounts start with "sa" and two start with "sj", so I have 2 pairs of duplicate abbreviations. How can I update the abbreviations in this list without renaming the accounts? Hopefully I'm just not finding some easy setting somewhere, but to date I haven't been able to locate it. I'm including a screen shot of the list from my phone, you can see the first 4 entries are 2 pairs of apparently duplicate entries. Please advise!

I have 4 email accounts. I cannot find a unified inbox that they say is available. How does that appear so I can get all incoming emails from all 4 of my accounts in one place?

Hello, I had a lot of adresses in my adressbook. Suddenly at the beginning of this year all adresses were gone. Is there any possibility to get them back? Hope anybody can help me. Thank you!
