passwords are lost without no reason. This seems to be incurable. Some Sw function seems to be wrongly designed.

Hi, am not finding anything helpful in the support area, so hoping someone can help me solve. When a calendar reminder pops up, and I try to snooze or dismiss, I get this message:

Server Replied with 400 If you’re seeing this message after snoozing or dismissing a reminder and this is for a calendar you do not want to add or edit events for, you can mark this calendar as read-only to avoid such experience in future. To do so, get to the calendar properties by right-clicking on this calendar in the list in the calendar or task view.
Thing is, I do want to add and edit events, so I have no other options and the reminder keeps popping up every couple of minutes it seems. Any help resolving is appreciated. Thx!

When I check my password under "Tools - Security', I only see a password listing for my 'incoming' server [that I do not have a problem with].
My out-going server setup has "Authentication" as normal password. When I try to send an email, Thunderbird does not ask for a password. Is it possible the error message refers to lack of a password? If so, is there anyway to manually add an STMP password to Thunderbird?

The SMTP server settings are as shown on the attached screenshot. I haven't changed them since installing Thunderbird and the problem appears for the first time. Thunderbird version is 15.0.
Is there anything I can do about it, e.g. by changing my Thunderbird settings? Since gmx.net is a webmailing service, I cannot change their server configuration. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks a lot to all of you!

I have seen previous posts here with the same problem, but I didn't see a viable solution. I didn't try the alternate test version - forgot the name and how to access it. (I'm on a new computer since last week.)

Je viens de constater tout récemment plusieurs choses qui me gênent : 1) je ne vois plus apparaître la commande "insérer" pour insérer une image dans un texte 2) quand j'enregistre un message pour le sauvegarder je ne vois que le texte du message, mais plus les entêtes (adresses e-mail, date, etc.). Hello, I have been using THUNDERBIRD for many years and I am very satisfied with it. In fact, I contributed to donations during the previous year. I have just recently noticed several things that bother me: 1) I no longer see the "insert" command appear to insert an image into a text 2) when I save a message to save it I only see the text of the message, but no longer the headers (e-mail addresses, date, etc.). I'm dealing with a properly updated 'bird: 140.5.0 (32-bit) running on an equally updated Windows 10 desktop. First thing this morning, out of nowhere, I started getting an "unable to write the email to the mailbox..." message when sending, thus I could send but not save. And then I realized I wasn't receiving either, on all three accounts in my Thunderbird. I stopped everything and focused on trying to fix this. It's been an all-day, losing effort. So far.
I tried the various quick checks and fixes recommended here and there: I'm running the program as an administrator. I restarted the program. I rebooted the computer. I think I have enough disk space, but to be sure I deleted some bloat from possibly overly large files. I compacted, even though the program is configured to do that regularly. I temporarily disabled my antivirus program. I went into my webmail and deleted all messages that have arrived since my Thunderbird stopped receiving, in case one of them was corrupted. And probably some other attempts as well. Nothing has helped.
And now a second, even worse issue has fallen from the sky. Thunderbird opens. The folder list is where it always has been. The number of unopened messages in each folder is there in boldface, as always, but...the folders are all blank and I get the dreaded popup: "unable to open the summary file...." Have I lost my years' worth of carefully curated emails?
I've tried folder repair. I've deleted parent.lock. Etc. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.
I will be super-grateful for any wisdom sent my way.

The "Reset folder order" is only available when you right click the main account and not any sub folders
