Help me to open Thunderbird, so I can access my address book. When I click on the icon in my dock, it says the address is invalid, so I can't access Thunderbird or my address book.

I travel a lot and frequently use web services not in my native English. Safari does a great job of translating to English, but is often glitchy for other functions. So I use Firefox. But it doesn’t have the translate option!

Hi . My email messages are failing to down load . I am getting a message stating that the Thunderbird Certificate for pop3 has expired . Is there a solution for this ?

Kann ich einen Link bekommen, so dass ich diese Version wieder installieren kann da ich mit der aktuellen Version dies nicht ereichen kann. I have uploaded my Yahoo email to Thunderbird and have now downloaded that to my desktop as POP. I see various folders as both "Mail" and Imap in my Profile on the Mac, with various subfolders as per my Yahoo email. When I open the various files, which are in detailed folders in the Imap folder, they are only visible as complex Text files. Is there I can open them with Outlook or Word, or something else easier to understand? Many thanks, Charles

Woke up today and my account is not working. Asks to sign in using my password. When put in it says it is not valid. Rebooted computer but problem remains. Nothing has changed.

I just switched from Blue Mail to Thunderbird on Android.

First s big thanks for finally making Thunderbird on desktop touch friendly, this was long overdue.

Now to my feature request for thunderbird Android. Please allow (or just enable my default) that the controls to search in mails/delete mails etc are moved to the bottom of the screen so you can easily reach them on as mobile phone (just like blue Mail does it).

Second smaller request: please make the email list less "crowded" somehow the fonts and density are hard to read. Again have a look at blue Mail for how to do this a bit better. Could also be an option.

I use the IMAP protocol for my email structure. This way all my devices (desktop, notebook, cell, etc......) show the same information & in sync with each other. Because we have very limited (500mb) email storage on the server I am not able to keep all my folders and email history on the server. As a work around, on my desktop I have organized my emails in folders and store them in the "Local Folder". While I am in the office and on my desktop, everything seem to work well. Unfortunately, this becomes a problem when I travel or need to work remotely from my notebook. I have no access to the "Local Folder".

I realize one very easy fix to this is to acquire more storage space from our service provider. Unfortunately, this is not a viable solution for us at this time because of the exhorbitant fees from our service provider.

Do you have any recommendation on how I can "bring" the local folder with me when I work remotely from my notebook or from another computer at home?

I don't receive any mails on my email address on thunderbird since the end of December ? what could be the problem ? I tried sending myself a mail message from another address and it is confirmed, I do not receive it.
