Hi,

Firefox android provides no master password/primary password protection so passwords in the Firefox password manager are protected only by your lockscreen swipe(yeah, I thought the same thing you just thought).

I need full protection like on Desktop or I can't sync my passwords to Firefox. However, when temporarily enabling password sync on desktop, for example between two desktop devices it also temporarily enables it on android Firefox that you might have synced as well. The upshot of this for me is that I now have all my passwords on android without wanting them there for the above reasons.

So, how do I remove all passwords on my firefox android, without having to reinstall Firefox on the phone?

How do you disable the "feature" that closes tabs when you swipe over them by accident? It's way to sensitive and ends up closing tabs that I want to be left open all of the time.

How specifically do I stop the current version of Firefox for Android from automatically refreshing its self without me specifically refreshing it? This is such a widespread nuisance for people, why can you guys not fix this?

I left a review and was asked to post this here so here goes. Firefox on android is currently the highest user of power on my Google Pixel 8 android phone. From the battery usage data (since last full charge) Firefox has used: Screen time: 2hrs 33mins Background: 5hrs 46mins Totalling 19% battery usage. Even though I turned OFF allow app to run in background!! Before I turned this off, the battery usage was similar. In comparison: WhatsApp -the next highest- is: Screen time: 1hr 42mins Background: 17hrs 52mins Totalling 14% battery usage. With allow app to run in background ON.

The only thing I can think of causing this is the annoying (in my opinion) way that Firefox does not close down all open tabs when I close the app (by hitting the square control button and hitting clear all open apps button) are they still keeping Firefox running in the background as they refresh?

PLEASE add a setting to close all tabs when closing the app. When I close Firefox on my PC and then open it again, I don't get my old tabs, so it must be possible to do on android.

I've noticed in browsing history that a lot of tabs are private. I don't use or want private browsing, can I disable it?

I'm not sure but I think that the private tabs were opened by Google Assistant and/or Gemini (if that makes a difference).

Ever since the latest update to Firefox nightly on Android, whenever I try to open the browser I get a pop up asking me if I want to open it with the Play Store or the Samsung store. I went ahead and updated it and it continues to do this every single time I try to open the browser. It continually opens the Play Store as well. This must be some bug as it is happening on both of my devices that I recently updated Firefox nightly, both my phone and my tablet.

Where is the issue tracker for Firefox Nightly on Android? The last few updates have caused the keyboard to block the bottom part of webpages, making it impossible for me to see what I'm typing.

Im trying to watch a video and im only getting this message telling me to enable Javascript in my browser settings, How in Gods name is this accomplished

Recently, after I manually delete selected pages on Firefox browser History, those pages keep coming back in History after I close and then reopen Firefox browser. I have not changed any settings. This just started a few days ago. I have always manually deleted History and/or selected pages and not had this problem before. Thanks for your assistance.

Am i the only one that finds these instructions totally hopeless when syncing my desktop to phone?.. So i tap on the 3 dots / Menu in Firefox on mobile, but after that there is NO Sync & Save Data to tap on anywhere in Firefox mobile after hitting the menu dots??.. and i mean ANYWHERE in the menu, or settings or account (of course there is the ususl Syncronise Now option in the account.

So just where is this Sync & Save Data i would lobe to know, nevermind how am i supposed to pair my devices when theres no clear way to access this and the associated QR code?

Totally frustrating, I've never understood these instructions with no outcome possible.

Recently, my homepage has started showing shortcuts again, a feature I previously had turned off cause I dislike it and it often just shows random sites and searches I've done. I went to turn it off again, only for the toggle switch or shortcuts section of the customization settings to not be there at all??? Is this a glitch? Because I don't like this feature and I really hope they've changed it to something you can't turn off

I have a lot of bookmarks and lot means A LOT OF. When I add any bookmark to a specific folder, then the list becomes a mess. I can't find any folder easily where I want to add new bookmark. It's so inconvenient and time-consuming. So, I request you to please address this issue and improve the bookmark section. I'll be very thankful to you.
