Hi, so on my office pc I work with firefox. I made an account specifically to store every bookmarks etc on that account so when my company updates something I'll always have my bookmarks. Unfortunately somehow since yesterday they all disapeared, and no I'm unable to recover them with the different methods that are foreseen on your website. please advise kr daniel

Hi, this issue has been present for a long time for me, and with many versions of Firefox Nightly for Android.

I'm always using the latest nightly for browsing Youtube only, with a set of specific settings and addons (since we can't use profiles on Android yet)

My problem is I've configured the Homepage to never show anything but a few URLs I chose to pin, you can see my settings and my homepage in the screenshots attached.

Despite the "Recently visited" setting being disabled, sometimes, but not everytime, the last pages I visited are added to the Homepage, after the pinned sites. I have no idea what triggers it or not, if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug.

How to disbale most visited websites get automatically added in homepage of Firefox android browser ?

I kept shortcuts option enabled to add shortcut manually as per user choice. I don't want browser to add most recently visited websites to get add as shortcuts in tile form in homepage of firebox browser.

Is there any config to disabled for this issue ? Please help

Firefox is not permitting videos from YouTube that other browsers easily play. This needs to be fixed. YouTube offers their Premium subscribers videos which can be played at a higher bitrate, which means even 1080p can play at a higher quality. When setting quality on a video, in addition to the 1080p, you can choose "1080p Advanced bitrate" as an option. Firefox has trouble playing these files, whereas Safari and other browsers don't have a problem with YouTube. Please fix this.

We have an electronic document management system in our company. The system is an internal system without access to the LAN. Firefox detects files downloaded from it as potentially dangerous after the last update. Is there a way to prevent files from this website from being detected as potentially dangerous?

When the little yellow man is placed on to the map, and a direction arrow is clicked, the view just continues to spin round. Clicking on the 'X' in the top right hand corner terminates street view. This does not happen with other browsers.

My OS is Debian 12, Firefox is the latest version 115.9.1esr (64bit).

I'm using Thunderbird for my private and company e-mails (different companies). I need to pay close attention to selecting the right names as the auto suggest for recipients isn't using the context of the current account. Is there a plugin or setting I've missed that considers the context of composing a mail and priorities collected e-mails from the respective account or recent conversations for example? Good example is the Gmail auto complete, that has a good suggestion ranking.

Best I could find was options to sync with Google Mail contacts, but that would require to maintain a list of contacts in Google Mail, which I don't do.

The pinned shortcuts on my newtab page have all disappeared once again. I've gone to about:config > browser.newtabpage.pinned and my shortcuts are all listed. But only blank boxes show up on the page. It will not accept a new entry when I try to enter one. It goes back to the blank white box. Why does this keep happening? Can anyone give me a Firefox for Dummies way to fix this?? Thanks!

Firefox removes the exceptions after every update and they have to be manually re-added. This is a very frustrating user experience. Can you please help me identify if this is an issue with Firefox that can be updated or is it an issue with some setting I have setup.

Exceptions that get reset - Cookies and Site Data, Pop-ups, Add-ons, etc.

Permissions that get reset - All of them Location, Camera, Microphone, etc.

• Side note, the Troubleshooting Information section below has a link to share data, that link does not open in a new window. It opened in this same window, erasing all the content I had typed up the first time.

Everything is gone….bookmarks, passwords, history on my desktop computer and I have no idea why. I opened Firefox and the home page was different and then noticed nothing was the same. I dl Firefox again, no help, same result. I do have my desktop synced to my iPad and laptop but I’m concerned they will import from the desktop and get wiped out. Is there a way to sync from the laptop to the desktop? I am at a complete loss on how to fix this. I do run a backup on this computer. Would that help? Restore point?

I frequently attempt to open news articles or other pages requiring form fill-in but instead get a page that advises me to disable an adblocker. I have no idea what Firefox (yes, up-to-date) uses or how I could set it to allow pop-ups for a particular site. Help!

I have 3 emails with greatmail.com. One email has this problem (the others are fine) When I open any incoming email, I get this warning at the bottom of the page: "A unique identity matching the From address was not found. The message will be sent using the current From field and settings from identity Joan Dailey<jdailey@expresslyyours.com" </p>

Also, having clicked on it to open it, the email appears to be (automatically) a reply from me and none of the links that may be in the email work... it also appears to be in edit mode.

Further, if I go into my expresslyyours account at https://webmail.greatmail.com, I am allowed to click a box and allow the message to present normally. Part of those emails may be coming to e-store@expresslyyours.com... however, it is happening to ALL emails to my EY mailbox. What can I do to fix this? Where to look? By the way, have discussed this with greatmail and they are puzzled.

I want to support Mozilla but have no need for the complexity of Thunderbird. I find navigating the huge number of options hugely timewasting, eg I inadvertently remove some headers but can find no way of undoing this. Is there a cut down, simplified version I can use?
