When viewing pdf files created from MS Word (.docx) documents and sent to me I see white lines across some images but not all. This happens with Firefox on Windows 11 and linux mint (various versions). It is present on the images from the file as received and after uploading to a website. The images are OK if viewed using Opera or other browsers but the same problem is present on Thunderbird. As the topic says, the message list turned from the usual dark-mode look, to a full black background after updating to 151.0.

Was this an intentional change? How can I revert it?

I use eBird extensively. When I try to play the audio (with sonograms), I get a message that says "We are still processing this file. Try again later". These files perform well on my Android phone, so I know it it is not eBird's glitch. I am confused about the setting options on Firefox that I need to set. These files are usually .wav format. I have tried to open a ticket with eBird, but have not had a response. Can you guide me? Thanks.

TB is hung up on my late husband's computer and none of the suggestions made has released it. Current advisors are Windows people and this is an old Mac Mini running OS 10.13. Has Firefox instituted a security setting that is interfering with commerce-related sites? Suddenly I can't log in to my credit union (gets stuck on "authentication" step), amazon.com (endless "transferring data" message during login attempt), and mutual fund sites (similar to amazon.com experience). These all are related to money/commerce. I've turned off Firefox's popup blocking and even explicitly allowed cookies for the sites. I did a Refresh to get rid of extensions that might be causing problems (even though there wasn't a problem a week ago on these sites). I've tried Firefox on a second computer for the credit union site and got the same behavior. Chrome has no problem with these logins, by the way.

I have used gmail including calendar and contacts with Firefox for 5 years, suddenly contacts and calendar will not open, has a Firefox upgrade caused this problem?

I can't receive any of my e-mails. I can send e-mails out now. Plus I can put in my password to log into my e-mail.  This has been a headache for me, I have been with Thunder Bird for years.

I also get a boxes that says : Unable to write the email to the mailbox. It says to make sure the file system allows me to write privileges, and I have enough disk space to copy the mailbox. I have enough space on my computer system and all. Another box that says my e-mail is being processed. Please wait until processing is complete to get messages. I did e-mail you yesterday on these issues. As I said I can e-mail messages out now also log into my e-mail with my password. Thanks, Chris

To whom it concerns, It just happened yesterday June 11,2026. I put in my password to my e-mail to open it and it stated that my e-mail account is being processed. Said to wait until processing is complete to get messages. I have never had this issue, I been with Thunder Bird e-mail for years. It isn't even showing my e-mails that I had in my inbox on my e-mail. If you can please help, I need my e-mail up and going. Thank you, Chris Note, it also said that Thunder Bird had crashed in a box, they wanted to know what page I was on. I am not understanding this.

All of a sudden every time I open something in an email it automatically creates a new tab. When I delete what I have open it takes me out of my email account and I have to delete the tab to get back to my remaining emails. I have changed nothing so I am confused as to why it has recently changed.

My Tbird email was not working, so I tried a "clean re-install" as recommended on your website. I lost everything, contacts, archive, pics, email.. .years worth. Please tell me I can retrieve them.

I had a great Thunderbird Emoji add-on that is no longer supported. This.

It no longer works on updated Thunderbird, and shows it hasn't been updated since 2022. I'm on Thunderbird 140.11 on my Linux Mint. The image the plugin inserts in message bodies is broken. Is there another/similar add-on?

I use Thunderbird 140.11.1esr with Ubuntu 24.04. I also use LibreOffice 26.2.

When using LibreOffice, if I want to delete a number of contiguous characters, I put the cursor at the start of the characters I want to delete, press the delete key and hold it. Holding down the delete key means that delete works its way through all the characters I want to delete.

When using Thunderbird, if I want to delete a number of emails, pressing down and holding the delete key doesn't result in the deletion of a number of emails. Instead, I have to keep pressing delete again and again.

Is there some setting in Thunderbird that I can change that will result in delete automatically working its way through all the emails I want to delete?

I have found that once an email is put in the trash it will automatically be removed/deleted from the trash.

Today is June 14th and there are no emails in my trash folder older than June 9th.

Is there an account setting in Thunderbird for how long an email once in the trash folder will remain there?

Note, this behavior only occurs in the trash folder.

Using Mac Tahoe latest and Thunderbird 140.11.1esr (aarch64)
