Please see my problem description in Subject.How do I delete the old email from Firefox account before adding new email ?? My current email address is toaka_2@triarm.com.au it is not what firefox have in my account

I have and account on my Firefox account that I’m not using anymore. Can anyone please delete the account for me?

It says that it needs a verification code and my Email is no longer accessible. Can someone please delete and deactivate the account for me please?

Every time that I register with any website, business, no matter what it is, I all ways get this error come up and I can not do it via firefox. '''''The email address entered is not valid'''''

Does anyone know a simple way on how to fix this issue.?

I tried to update my primary email, but it said it was already associated with my account -- even though it wasn't displayed. I added a secondary email and made that primary, hoping it would then allow me to add my main email and then swap them. But it still said the main one was already associated (even though it's not shown). I only have two email addresses. I don't want the secondary one to be the primary one. But I can't add it or edit them. Clues?

The Original email address I used to create my Firefox account is lost.

When I look in the support site the advice is to create a new Firefox Account under a valid email address and then I will be able to sync my data.

I created a new mail address, but if I try to create that new Firefox account with that I get the notification that the primary email address of the account is needed to sign in. But that account does not exist anymore. So I don't see the form I have to fill in to create my new account. Can you help me?

Access Manage Accounts Primary Account email shown. Secondary email states none. Try to add new email so I can make it the Primary account. Enter new email and states already exists?? but still showing NONE in the box. Seen the info on how to change Primary account but cannot get passed my Manage Accounts as the problem with the Secondary email not showing to trigger the change Primary Address box.

I would be very grateful if somebody has a solution to this problem as the current Primary Address is an old email which I wish to stop using.

I need an email to contact Firefox support, I got locked out from the email connected to my Firefox account and now it's not under my control and I would like to delete it, what can I do ? Please help me soon Is there an email to contact Firefox for such matters? or what should I do?

I recently and stupidly lost access to my 2FA app. I am not hopeful that I will regain access and would just like to delete my old Firefox account so that it isn't there to be abused.

Is there any way to do this?

I've seen the answer to this on a couple of other Q&A posts, but just in case...

On the Edit Profile page, under Username, it lets you delete the existing name and type in your own. And a helpful instruction tells you permissible characters. But if you attempt save the change, you get an error message.

The other Q&A posts say that you can't, in fact, change your Username. If so, why doesn't the Edit Profile page say so? Why does it mislead you into attempting to change your Username?

Also, the note under the Username textbox says, "Keep in mind that your username is visible to the public." So, if your e-mail includes some form of your personal name, and that name becomes your username by default (which happened to me), and you never notice this, you get exposed (such as by posting a query here)? But in fact, the "Keep in mind..." instruction isn't fully true. As one of the other Q&A posts says, if you choose a display name (which is blank until you add one), your username is NOT exposed. But the Edit Profile page doesn't tell you this.

So, the whole Username portion of the Edit Profile page is very misleading. It needs to be clarified. And, when you sign up for Firefox, you should be given an opportunity to choose a unique username. Mine was forced on me in the background, apparently.

So, I recently discovered that many passwords that I've used before have leaked online, and I've been changing passwords and deleting old accounts for days now.

I've used Firefox for many years back in the day, but I can't log in my old account because it seems my old email has been replaced by another one, and my email is now the secondary email for that account.

So every time I try to log in, I just get a message "needs main email address", which I, unfortunately, don't remember. I tried all addresses I have, but none of them worked.

I need help to either get access to my old account or at least delete it.

I was using Firefox as my default browser and had data like bookmarks, add-ons for everyday use, etc. but after I reinstalled windows and installed Firefox again I forgot which email was link to my data as I had multiple emails logged in. Now I have tried 2-3 emails which didn't work in bringing my data back and I don't remember the password of my other emails, I can recover them by forgot password but I it says resetting password will clear history bookmarks, etc.| I can afford to loose history and saved passwords but is there a way I can get Firefox back to my configuration and add-ons, etc I was using previously?

PS: I do have windows.old file after windows installation-If it could help./

Hi, I've had a Firefox account taken over and removed as primary account holder. Can't seem to find anywhere to report this issue to Mozilla. Had to set up another account to ask this question. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Graeme
