My husband's Windows computer failed, and I am setting up his new Chromebook as a holiday gift.
Unfortunately, the instructions for setting Private Mode as the default for Firefox don't fit what I see on the Acer Chromebook 315.
Please provide appropriate instructions. I want to place it in his office, ready to go, before he gets up tomorrow morning, December 25. I am in Central Time in the US.

I did not think that could be? how do I resolve this issue? I would like to make Start-page my default search engine in both. It has been very confusing.

For the longest time I've had an issue with the settings being reset every time I open the browser - all my add-ons are off, all my configurations return to the original state, every single time. I have to manually turn them on all over again every time. Does anybody else has the same issue? Can it be solved somehow? Do I need to redownload Firefox or something?
