I have created a series of named folders on my thunderbird home screen and I move incoming messages into each folder according to subject matter. I set up a folder named it BUPA some months ago and moved all incoming emails relevant into this folder. Now I have discovered that this folder does not appear under my list of folders on my home page and it has dissappeared. I do not know how this took place but I assume that this collection must still be on yourserver and if so can be restored to me. I would be most grateful if you could assist me with this problem.

Doing a "find" ends up showing a greenish (so I'm told) background with white text. Want to guess which "find" in the attached image is difficult for me to find?

What I would like: Find (focus): yellow text on black background Find All: white text on black background

Yes, of course it would be nice if that would auto switch to black on yellow if the website default is black background.

I can hack userContent.css and get the selection function to work:

/* General highlight (for text selection, etc.) */

   background: #FFFF00 !important;  /* Yellow background */
   color: #000000 !important;       /* Black text */

}

I can hack userContent.css and get the Find All (sans the focus) to work.

But firefox always provides the focus with white on green. Even if I do something like this:

   background: #FFFF00 !important;  /* Yellow background */
   color: #000000 !important;       /* Black text */

}

I tried several themes. No change. I tried changing Windows Preferences. No change.

There must be a way to make this "find" feature useful for me.

It very important to me to be abler to Turn OFF Dark mode when a recent TB update defaulted to that mode.

Why? Because I have vision problems. So I run everything under Windows' "High Contrast" mode, which changes all displayed colors and backgrounds.

Given that is how my system is set,  Windows "flips" your new Dark Mode into a light and low contrast image that I cannot easily read. 

SO For users like me who must depend on Windows High Contrast settings, everything is fine as long as Thunderbird retains the option to TURN OFF DARK MODE. Please be sure to maintain this option Forever, or TB will become unusable to users like me.

As a user of Firefox has been a good experience up till three weeks ago YouTube will not load. I cant play any of there videos this is been on going for three weeks. Ive asked you to fix it but so far you aren't doing anything about it. My operating system is windows 10 64 bits. Can you please look into this and get it fixed. I installed MThunderbird on my Android phone today, using a QR Code to import settings. Receiving messages works perfectly, while sending messages is a mission impossible. I keep getting the message when sending: "Authentificanion failed". I have the same settings on my computer, and Thunderbird works normally, both sending and receiving messages. I don't know where the problem could be, so please help!

I'm also attaching a screenshot of the outgoing server from the desktop computer, which is also set up on the mobile application.

On my desktop, thunderbird does an awesome job cutting spam. While on the mobile its terrible, not just are most spam mails coming thru but some legit emails are getting flagged. Is there some way to make it mimic the desktop.

The "Subject" pretty much describes my specific question. You will see an example in the screenshot I uploaded. When I increase the screen using comm + the type is too large & the video shrinks. ((although, somehow, the screen becomes smaller even though I'm enlarging it). Even with my reading glasses, I can't see 95% of the type.

I've poured through everything (i think) on the website, and I made some changes, but they didn't make a difference (other than getting rid of those miserable recommended videos on the side).

I have another question: Do I have to use a secondary email address: my Dept. of Ed. Outlook address, but I've just retired, and won't have access to it in about six months. I also don't want the DOE all up in my business: emails are legal documents forever & ever.

Lastly, the "Share Data" link says "the internal workings of your browser." What does that mean?

The main screen (desktop) there were 4 rows of bookmarks connecting me (user) with the websites that are frequently connected. Recently after restarting the desktop computer, those shortcut bookmarks no longer display. Plus I'm unable to connect to the record of bookmarks previously saved using the star icon. Hi, when I want to zoom in to the website page, I cant seem to find the horizontal scroll, thus I cant see the left side of the page that I zoomed in. Please make the horizontal scroll available. Thank you.

Can someone advise please, I am using an android tablet and have had no problems with thunderbird until recently. I send and receive email from multiple accounts, but occasionally it will stick the email in the outbox and nothing I do will send it.

The email address is correct because if I go to yahoo it will send the message.

It appears to be totally random from any of the six accounts I use. I have deleted each account, reinstalled thunderbird. No difference. I can send mail it goes yo outbox, send another and it gets sent. ??

I am getting to the stage where I am going to abandon thunderbird because I think email is sent and its not.

There's a community of people who need to be able to turn off single key shortcuts. I'm one of them because I use some speech input, and a stray word from you or an office mate when the focus is in the wrong place can cause a lot of havoc that's difficult to undo. You can also get in trouble when typing – hitting a stray "a" can archive something without you realizing it, and this has happened to me as well. A cat going across the keyboard can also cause an awful lot of havoc that's difficult to track down and reverse. If we could simply turn off single key shortcuts, that would go a long way toward solving this problem. Even better if we could remap them. There is an extension that does this but it's aimed at developers and also requires full control of your computer, which removes is as an option for more people. I think you'd make many people happy building in something simpler -- alternate keybindings for single key shortcuts, a setting to turn the single key shortcuts off, or, best yet, the ability to remap them. I have Verizon FIOS and have been able to receive cable channels on my laptop until recently. Now I cannot access them without a sign-in which leads to some sort of error that I don't understand. Any help?
