Hello Mozilla community,

I want to share my extremely frustrating experience while trying to create desktop shortcuts for Firefox profiles. I have two profiles, and despite following all standard methods (including manually navigating to the profile folders), nothing worked. The usual steps, including directly creating shortcuts from the profile folder or using suggested tools, failed.

I specifically wanted a way to create exact shortcuts for each profile without manually editing anything. Even after testing everything, the only option left seems to be permanently leaving the profile inside Firefox and opening it from there, which defeats the purpose of quick access.

Due to this unnecessarily complicated process and lack of practical solutions, I have decided to leave Firefox permanently and switch to another browser.

Has anyone successfully created direct shortcuts for multiple Firefox profiles in Windows 11 without manual editing? Any practical advice would be appreciated, although I’m already moving away from Firefox.

I received a notice from centurylink about their changing my user I.D. from [edited] @q.com to [edited] @myctl.net beginning on 10/21/2025. I signed into my account, using the new email ([edited] @myctl.net) and now I'm blocked from my email / webmail Is firefox blocking my email account??

The main screen (desktop) there were 4 rows of bookmarks connecting me (user) with the websites that are frequently connected. Recently after restarting the desktop computer, those shortcut bookmarks no longer display. Plus I'm unable to connect to the record of bookmarks previously saved using the star icon. (I hope this is a descriptive explanation to elicit assistance in this matter) [edited email from public support forum]

The "Subject" pretty much describes my specific question. You will see an example in the screenshot I uploaded. When I increase the screen using comm + the type is too large & the video shrinks. ((although, somehow, the screen becomes smaller even though I'm enlarging it). Even with my reading glasses, I can't see 95% of the type.

I've poured through everything (i think) on the website, and I made some changes, but they didn't make a difference (other than getting rid of those miserable recommended videos on the side).

I have another question: Do I have to use a secondary email address: my Dept. of Ed. Outlook address, but I've just retired, and won't have access to it in about six months. I also don't want the DOE all up in my business: emails are legal documents forever & ever.

Lastly, the "Share Data" link says "the internal workings of your browser." What does that mean?

As a user of Firefox has been a good experience up till three weeks ago YouTube will not load. I cant play any of there videos this is been on going for three weeks. Ive asked you to fix it but so far you aren't doing anything about it. My operating system is windows 10 64 bits. Can you please look into this and get it fixed. One of my favorit websites recomends the Firefox setting "DNS over HTTPS" and I dont know how to make this 'cause I cannot find this setting, please can someone explain me a solution?

So now home screen icons are circles.

Can you please not? At least allow me to set my own style for home screen. I always prefer rectangular shapes on my device, they make everything more recognizable and easier for my autistic brain to navigate. I'm sick and tired of everything becoming soft and rounded nowadays.

As a Parkinson's victim I find it increasingly difficult to move within Thunderbird, I am on the beta track and can find no way to adjust the size / width of the bars. A better solution in my mind would be to enlarge only the arrows at each end of the scrollbars, thus reducing the screen footprint while allowing easier maneuverability

When I got a new computer I lost the actual visual set up of how I wanted the Thunderbird front page to look. What I need is someone who actually lives in Tallahassee, FL and can help me bring the front page back.

I just installed Thunderbird on Windows 11 and find that the text used for the Message List and Folder List is too small for me. But changing the font settings does not appear to impact the text size for these two areas, even after restarting.

Am I stuck? Or is there a way to increase the font size of folder lists and message lists?
