Firefox is my Standard Browser and worked fine until today. Now I'm forced to choose between Chrome and Samsung when I User a link from an Email. The link doesn' t work until I change my standard to einher one of them. Hier can I set Firefox as a standard to open links? In the settings Firefox ist the standard browser.

I am so angry because one week now in the notification bar,a message appears to buy VPN and this comes with porn photos With girls. I have never visited porn videos or sites or spams or anything from this phone. There have been at least 5 years . Few seconds ago I had a notification that my phone is in danger,in notification bar.

Why appear to me ?it is supposed I have chosen strict protection and safety is the reason I have chosen Firefox. How can I stop this?

I have set Firefox to delete all data on quit. It does not. Details of closed tabs are not erased. I would be happy for no browser history to be saved but this does not seem to be an option.

Using up to date software on samsung s23 ultra.

For years, I've been using FF on desktop (Linux), tablet (Android) and phone (Android - Samsung S24+). Sync has never been a problem until two weeks ago when FF on the phone has either refused to sync when I tapped the command, or hasn't synced for many hours or sometimes days (which is why I tried to do it manually). So, I signed out of my FF account on all 3 devices and then signed back in. The desktop computer and tablet are syncing normally, but the phone still won't sync. When I tap the 3-dot menu on the phone and then my name, it says the phone has NEVER been synced and tapping the sync command does nothing. Under "Choose what to sync", all options are checked, but greyed out. Can't change them, in other words. When I access bookmarks on the phone, it properly shows what was there before the last sync. The phone is running FF version 150.0 Build 2016155439

i am currently combining through my password manager as i stated to notice entries for "idownloadfast" "hideme" and "lockwiperandroid" and found an entry that seems to be for a Firefox extension? "moz-extension://336ba9e4-ebe5-4f93-a935-0e41204e5a33" when i open it i get code that looks suspicious, and i don't see anything that says what the extension is. but it has my email and a password saved in the entry. i can copy pase the code, if it isn't against policy. i already know whatever is going on with my devices security its not limited to a single account or service. but any information would be appreciated. i change my passwords, check connections, and keep two step authentication on for everything.
