Hi I was using TB 142 without problems. When upgrading to 143 ou 144.B4 I have problems sending mails to all users after some times. Usually the first mails are sent immediatly but after around 10 mails, I have very slow response (varies from 5 sec to more than 1 minute and sometimes timeout). Usually quitting TB solves the problem but this is very annoying. I went back to 140LTS and sems to have no longer this problem. This was tested on many diffrent networks. I am running under Fedora release 42

Thanks

I left a review and was asked to post this here so here goes. Firefox on android is currently the highest user of power on my Google Pixel 8 android phone. From the battery usage data (since last full charge) Firefox has used: Screen time: 2hrs 33mins Background: 5hrs 46mins Totalling 19% battery usage. Even though I turned OFF allow app to run in background!! Before I turned this off, the battery usage was similar. In comparison: WhatsApp -the next highest- is: Screen time: 1hr 42mins Background: 17hrs 52mins Totalling 14% battery usage. With allow app to run in background ON.

The only thing I can think of causing this is the annoying (in my opinion) way that Firefox does not close down all open tabs when I close the app (by hitting the square control button and hitting clear all open apps button) are they still keeping Firefox running in the background as they refresh?

PLEASE add a setting to close all tabs when closing the app. When I close Firefox on my PC and then open it again, I don't get my old tabs, so it must be possible to do on android.

Will this fricking "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional" B.S. ever be fixed? Firefox didn't have this issue for years now for almost a year every time Firefox starts up on a cold boot I get this idiotic non-sense message!. I have to close the browser I JUST OPENED and reopen in. This error is pure B.S. as again cold boot, just launched there is NOTHING other than Firefox that might be accessing the various sql.db's...so if this message is to be believed Firefox is blocking Firefox from Firefox... FIX THIS!

Third Contact. A few questions in hoping to resolve this on-going issue of Firefox 144.0 crashing on my iPhone.: What is GitHub … never heard of it? Why should I trust it. How is my privacy secured? Why do I have to go to GitHub for a Firefox issue? What is Xcode? How do I get it? How do I connect to it? After many years with Firefox why is this happening? Can I back grade to the previous Firefox? As a long time Firefox user and Mozilla donor a worse case option is for us to scrub FireFox from all of our systems pending Firefox issuing a corrective up grade.

Hello. My tablet, has limited memory, due to its age. I am now finding that one of the main reasons why it is so slow is because whenever I open firefox, it opens multiple firefox processes which drain the memory and in some cases crashes the system. I have followed all the advice given to reduce these multiple processes, however nothing seems to work and at least 6-8 firefox processes open each time I open it. I have unchecked the recommended performance settings as well as hardware acceleration boxes. However, I cannot find where to set the content process limit to 1. Please tell me how to do this and if there anything else I can try to stop it opening multiple processes or I may be forced to ditch Firefox altogether for an alternate such as Bing, Chrome or DuckDuckGo. Many thanks. Charlie

Firefox stürzt seit einigen Wochen immer wieder ab.

This has been consistent for over a week now. One folder brings TB to a halt if I try to open any message in it. I have many folders and many I rarely open so I can't be sure it's just this folder but certainly all other folders seem fine and fast. This particular folder did have many messages in it but I deleted them all, accepting that I didn't really need them. I then repaired the folder but was a bit shocked to find the problem continues. The folder says it is 20.9Mb and that it contains three messages each of 7Mb. That's plausible as it just gets one Email per day from my server with some information. The size can vary quite a lot. I could just delete the folder and recreate one with the same filter rules, or I could delete the filter rules before doing that, or ... what?! Technical is that it is TB 140.3.1esr running on a fairly powerful Kubutu machine with 64Gb and really nowhere near any resource limits. It's pulling messages from the one IMAP server and, as I say, everything else seems fine. Any thoughts welcome, TIA, Chris

I have nothing but problems with firefox since the last new updates. Sites hang, gmail can't be accessed, it takes 100x longer for sites to load, firefox uses huge amounts of memory and CPU, etc, etc.

I am so fedup spending valued worktime having to solve firefox issues each time they decide to make updates - which seems to be more and more frequent. How can I roll back to a previous version and permanently disable any further updates?

The operating system is Windows 11 Pro Edition Version 24H2 (OS Build 26,100.6584.) Firefox says it is fully up to date.
