What seems like ages ago Firefox stopped displaying bookmarks I addition it would not add new bookmarks nor restore the existing ones. I've gone through all of the corrective procedures listed on and off but nothing works. As a final attempt I deleted the program and reinstalled it. No change. It seems to me that perhaps a missing file from another program or system is missing. Maybe!

I have been using an alternate system for some time. When installed it had no problem finding all of the Firefox bookmarks and placed them on the menu bar as "Firefox Bookmarks". I have no issues with using them but all new ones are stored in the current browser. Thus the new ones do not go into the folders previously set up. I've avoided moving them manually to the new system due to the volume but I am ready to bite the bullet.

I prefer Firefox but it's just not working.

Can anyone save Firefox for me.

After a usual, recent automatic Firefox update my passwords and other data (bookmarks, history etc) are missing. The update took place around March 4 and on March 10 I used Smart Switch by Samsung to transfer and sinc my phone data on my pc. After this operation I noticed the missing data and all attempts for the various methods to restore data were unsuccessful. Please advice on how to restore passwords etc..

After removing and reinstalling Firefox, all my bookmarks were automatically reloaded, = GOOD. But, none of my saved "Collections" got reloaded, = BAD. How can I recover them?

Hello, my password got reset by pour IT department all of my passwords are gone I do have a recovery key but they did not use it how do i get my passwords back where can i add the key code

Today, when I opened my firefox page, I was forced to create a profile whether I wanted one or not. I did so, and lost all my established bookmarks and other links to items I frequently use. How can I recover those?

So i restarted macbook and when i opened Firefox, my bookmarks were all gone. i read the text about how to restore them but it didnt work and i really need those bookmarks. also i cant add bookmarks, its just not working. hopefully you'll help me with my question, thabk you.

I had around 3000 tabs open I closed the browser completely today. Normally when I reopen firefox all those tabs were appearing still. This time none of the tabs restored I can see tabs in history part namede 19.01.2026 although not all my tabs are there. When ever I try to reload them from the restore history part; firefox doesnt reply and doesnt take the command.

Yesterday, possibly related to updating to version 148, my profile completely disappaered. My old profiles are not visible under about:profiles, but are present on disk. They can not be imported with firefox -P. How do I get my profile data back?

Where do I input my recovery Key to get my account back? I recently had to get a new mother board and hard drive on my laptop. In the process, it wiped out my Firefox. I have reinstalled Firefox and have my previous Recovery Key to get my bookmarks passwords but can not locate where to enter the recovery key to do this. All I can seem to find is how to create a recovery key, not where to enter an already existing recovery key. Please help.

I have been a user of Firefox for many, many years (it is my default browser) and as of today I am extremely upset with you. Once again I go to use my favorite browser and all my bookmarks have been removed. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME SINCE THE NEW YEAR 2026.

I spent a great deal of time putting the bookmarks together that hold all the links to clients and their respective sites, along with all the places I have applied to and was about to apply, and today, again, they have all disappeared.

So, give me a reason to keep using your browser? As of this point, I am going to move to another browser and begin setting up all the bookmarks that I remember ... thanks for what seems to have become a HUGE problem with Firefox and blowing away my bookmarks and making me reset everything.

I have used Firefox when everyone told me to move to another because I believed you were the best at protecting my browsing experience and you didn't disappoint. But these last two times you have removed so much of my time I am at a loss as to why I even bother with you now ... besides, you have removed my Dad's obituary link and I'm not sure I will ever trust you again.

After updating firefox I got logged out of firefox, after logging back in no profile data is available. I lost all the saved passwords, setting, browsing history, all of it. I lost access to website's because of it. Tried copying data from 'profiles' folder but it does not work. Never had problem like this ever and I'm considering changing browser for good. It should have never happen, like wtf is this?!

My entire Firefox account has disappeared, bookmarks, passwords, email, history, everything. I shut down my Mac Airbook when I left town Tuesday, powered up when I got home today and when i clicked on my Firefox icon at the bottom of the page, a new, unrecognizable Firefox page appeared asking for a signon rather than my default page, my email. Can you help me recover everything? Lloyd

firefox removed my bookmarks and they had no right to do so. This upsets me big time, and like everything else they have no phone line to cll for support. firefox is a real pice of work.

My computer automatically restarted, and when I reopened Firefox it was updated and my account was logged out. Once I logged in, everything was gone -- bookmarks, history, extensions. The only thing not gone were my saved passwords (so I know I logged back into my same account). I swear I backed everything up after the last snafu, but now I can't find anything. How do I fix this? I had 4+ years of bookmarks saved, plus my article saver extension.

Updated and lost everything in my browser and now is complete crap, no bookmarks, and it install google as a search engine that doesn't work. Can you help me rollback to the version that worked just fine? Searched help and didn't find a way to resolve problem.
