When trying to sync Firefox on my phone, the second step is to go to the menu, and tap sync and save data. However there is no button like that on my android version of Firefox.

In the instructions says if you want to pair the device is to open Firefox on Android, press the "3 dots button" and click Ready to Scan button, but if I do that there is no such option there at all.

I am doing this signed-in into my Mozilla account.

I cannot find "Sync and save data" button in my mobile browser, making it impossible to sync the devices. The instructions provided by the settings lead me into the dead end.

Where tf is the sync and save data button on Firefox Android v 142.0

I am trying to sync with my desktop and there's no option under the menu for sync. The instruction given when I try to sync is to click the menu, go to "sync and save data" and scan a qr code. Of course the code doesn't work from my camera like every other qr code in the universe. It has to be scanned in the Firefox app but there's nowhere in the app to do this.

It's not in settings. It's nowhere.

Where is it, I REALLY REALLY NEED TO SYNC so that I have access to my bookmarks on my phone.

This shouldn't be complicated or difficult where is it???????? :( This is ridiculous.

I would like to clear all of my sync data from my firefox account. This includes browsing history, passwords, payment methods, extensions, bookmarks, favourites, themes.

Over the years I have saved many bookmarks across several different devices. Therefore the bookmarks vary between devices. Is there any way that I can tidy up my bookmarks, deleting many of them, on my main machine and then have all the other devices Synch to that list only?

I have tried deleting ALL the bookmarks on the "subsidiary" devices and then synched them but that didn't work. I think I'm asking whether one device can be made the "master" for all the others to Synch to that one and none of the others.

I had a Firefox debian version installed on my desktop running Ubuntu Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS and now I just installed the latest 143.0.1 "Mozilla Firefox Flatpak" version.

How can I synchoronized or migrate all my data such as bookmarks, add-ons, open tabs, settings for syncing ?

How can I unsync desktop from laptop bookmarks?

Selected update Mozilla to Windows 11 yesterday on desktop and am now seeing two sets of bookmarks on both devices. Laptop bookmarks were originally separate from desktop. Laptop is mine and desktop is my wifes. Did not know that it would auto sync both devices.

Is it possible to unsync/separate?

Instructions from Firefox on my Macbook are: go to Menu (on iPad) and tap Sync & Save data. Then scan QR code below.

I tried to do this, but no Sync option appears on my iPad menu. Is it hidden under another option I do have? I tried choosing 'Settings' but it wasn't there. All the other menu options don't seem relevant - 'Find in Page', for example, or Copy, Share, etc. (I chose the menu at top right of screen, as shown on my Firefox page instructions from the Macbook). Can't see any other Menu icons on the iPad Firefox page. Any advice on how to locate 'Sync and Save' on my Firefox app homepage would be gratefully received! Thank you.
