When I shop for groceries, every single item I look at shows up in my Recent Activity. This wastes way too much space, plus I don't need it. Is there a way to restrict what shows?

Hello i have recently continued the windows 10 extended version and i cannot regain my bookmarks that use to be there. They are not in the back up or the restore options in the bookmarks tab. We have tried to solve this with articles off of the Mozilla website and we have not been able to regain the bookmark access.

I have been fixing dozens of problems with 140 ESR's GUI. Earlier today I fixed almost all of the problems with the search panel:

Except one: I do not know how to detect when the default search engine has changed. I need to know how to detect when the default search engine changes so I can update the favicon and placeholder text by recalling my gui_fixes_search_favicon() function in userChrome.js.

I'm an experienced web developer of 20+ years and would be grateful if someone could share their insight without the often "obligatory" cautionary tales 101 bit. Thank you in advance!

for awhile now I am getting this message. I have multiple browser windows open with multiple tabs each. Even if I delete all but one browser window I still get this message.

What can I do to rid myself of this message?

google is saying cookies are disabled when using FF to login. This was working Privacy is set to STANDARD and I went into settings and removed google.com as well to no avail.

How do I fix this?

Hello I am having major problems with Firefox at the moment and have done for a while. I curently have four pages open but as you can see from the attached screen shot of my Task Manager, there are 14 Firefox processes. The usage is OTT on memory and everything else. Could you tell me why this is happening? Currently it is running in Troubleshooting mode but that is not doing anything to improve the problem. It has been known to shut my computer down, as it gets too hot. I run on Windows 10 and Bitdefender is my security. All help is gratefully received. Thanks Lisa

Due to the previous thread locked, I had to start a new threat but it continues from the previous.

When using the scrounger located here; https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html. It creates a JSON file which can be renamed to as used in session profiles; sessionstore.jsonlz4. This is exactly what I've done then copied it to the new profile location: \Profiles\jj55ob2s.Default (release) and I don't see my tabs restored on a FireFox engine clone browser ?

What is it with my default search engine constantly being changed behind my back? Is the Firefox update doing this? Is something else? Can't it be locked down so that only I can change it in the Settings menu? It really annoys me that I suddenly find I'm doing a google search when I, after research and deliberation, set the browser to search with DuckDuckGo.

previously all the bookmarks were showing on the firefox left side , now all the bookmarks are gone . However when we are trying to import the bookmarks from other browser the option is not responding or working, So how can we get back those bookmarks?

I am having a problem with Firefox where: - if I am searching in the address bar in one tab (tab A), - but then before that finishes loading, I switch to a different tab (tab B), - Firefox will switch me back to tab A once tab A finishes loading. It's not immediate and is a little aggravating as it pushes me out of what I was already doing.

I'm currently on Firefox Beta (145.0) on Windows 11. I've tried the "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" setting.

i even deleted ALL my bookmarks............I cant get rid of the ribbon across the top, no matter how many times i try. And now I see, the bookmarks live on even after I deleted all of them yesterday.

Hi everyone, I’m managing an online bill information website, and some users reported an issue when they try to download or print a PDF bill using Firefox. Sometimes the print preview doesn’t load, or the layout breaks, while it works normally on other browsers.

Hi,

I generally have 20~30 tabs open in Firefox. So as of now, if I scroll on the tab bar, 6~7 tabs will move left/right per scroll. I want to modify this number of tab scroll to one per mouse wheel scroll.

I searched for this tweak but did not get any workable solution.

I'm using Firefox 144.0.2 (64-bit) on windows 10.

If you have any tweak, pls share.
