It's no big deal but my music folder which is all YouTube wont sort by name all other bookmark folders I have sort fine. When I sort by name it is all random. This issue started about 2 or 3 Firefox updates ago before it would sort by name no problem I am using 118.0.1 I don't know if YouTube has changed something with there icons or its just a bug in Fire Fox

Since installing the new version of ThunderBird I find that some messages are not automatically marked as read immediately. If I wait long enough they do get marked, but if I'm skipping through promotional stuff they just don't get automatically marked as read. Messages that have been sitting in the list unread for a day or two are affected the same as recently arrived messages.

I think it might have something to do with the affected messages containing lots of links, e.g. advertising material from supermarket chains.

In Settings I have "Automatically mark messages as read" - "Immediately on display".

With the latest update, I no longer have a button that says UNREAD. I used to be able to click on that and all of my unread email would appear while the read mail was hidden. Pressing the UNREAD button again, caused all of my mail to appear again. That button was extremely helpful and very fast to use.

How do I now get my UNREAD mail to appear easily and then revert to ALL mail to be showing once again??

The latest update has caused all the open message tabs to disappear. I need to access those messages, as they all require responses. I can't remember what they all are. How do I get them back?

Since my last Firefox update, tabs crash or freeze and cannot be resolved. Each time, I have to shut down Firefox to open a tab. This makes shopping impossible as links to payments do not respond or say they are loading but never load. I have tried all the possible solutions and fixes mentioned on here but nothing is working. I have never had any trouble with Firefox before so this is a pain.

Please help me to get into Pocket.At the beginning it says i must update before AUg.15th.Mabe something like that is shutting it down. ?Not sure if anyone knows what I am doing wrong!

Thunderbird on my Windows 11 PC was updated to 115.3.1 (64-bit). I like my default view to sort by date and grouped by sort. Since the update, all threads default to expanded. I can collapse the "\"; however, when I switch between email accounts, the view is expanded when I come back. Is there any way to set the view back to collapsed? Or should I restore a previous version of Thunderbird?

Like the title says, just looking for an option in settings to delete all data on close for the IOS version. If there is not an option, what is the possibility of getting one in a future release? Thanks for any helpful responses.

Had to update to Thunderbird 115.3.1 this morning. In previous version, I had no issue using Create Filter From Message. Today, I tried using it, but the window that pops up is so large that I'm unable to get to the buttons at the bottom to create filter. There is no way to minimize the window. Is there a fix?

I don't like my new layout - I presume from update. I can't move the line below messages up like I used to so I can't read messages below it. Everything looks too big. How can I get back to the plain old view. I have tried changing views

I am using a Mac with Big Sur (macOS Monterey Version 12.7), and my email is POP, using Thunderbird Version 115.3.0. My incoming messages are sorted in reverse order so that the latest message is listed first. I retrieve the message headers first then I either delete the message or download the contents of the message. The problem is that when I download the contents of the message Thunderbird does download the message BUT it highlights the message just downloaded and it jumps to the next message. This is very annoying because in order to read the contents of the message I have to go back one message and purposely select the message just downloaded. It did not do this previously.

Earlier today I installed the latest version of Firefox on my Mac system and now the time assigned to incoming emails is 1 hour too early. We are on Sydney daylight savings time. My computer is indicating the correct time but the Thunderbird emails listing is not. I've searched for solutions and checked a number of Thunderbird time and date settings but nothing has fixed the one hour time error that I'm seeing. Can anyone suggest a fix for this?

I recently noticed some changes to the appearance of Thunderbird that I didn't like: the button bar (now "Universal Toolbar" was flattened, it was moved above the menu bar, and the "quick filter" seems to occupy more space on my screen (not sure if this is actually true or just an optical illusion).

Anyway I figured out how to bring back the original appearance of the main button bar (with full sized buttons) and I followed the instructions to move the menu bar back to the top where it belongs. So I have 2 questions:

• Might enabling the "toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets" configuration item affect the security of my system? Allowing custom style sheets may be fine, but I don't want to be enabling custom Javascript too, and am not smart enough to figure out if the one may accidentally cause the other.

• How do I merge the 2 GUI elements ("Inbox" line and "Quick filter" toolbar) in the attached screenshot into one single line or row?

If I try to use Messenger, I get an error message that I am not connected to the internet. This is just within the last 24 hours, but some are saying it's been doing that since the last update. Is there a setting that needs to be changed?

I recently installed thunderbird 115.2.2 I notice that when I click on a web link (either in an email or in the menu (as in <Help><Get help>), thunderbird opens the default browser window (Waterfox in this case) but fails to put the link into the address bar. If it is a link in an email I need to copy and paste it manually. If it is a menu choice there is nothing for me to do.

I use Thunderbird on Linux (X)Ubuntu.

Ubuntu 20.04 - using version 115.3.1 - can ctrl-v paste images from Clipboard just fine Ubuntu 22.04 - also version 115.3.1 - can not...

So i am guessing config issue?

I have Sending Format = Automatic in both. And these in the advanced config editor (same in both) - see attached screenshot.

What else could i have a look at?

Hello! Since I updated Firefox to 118.0.1 (latest version when writing this) the Teams Large Gallery mode in Firefox is displaying black and eventually all the participants appear but the performance is 1 frame per minute. All the cameras are frozen and occasionally the display refreshes for one single frame.

Audio is working fine and default Gallery mode (only 4 camera displayed) still works normally.

I run a website that is custom built and we are seeing a potential issue in which the headers and header links are showing in the reader view of every page above the content for the page. But I'm also not sure if this is necessarily bad or might be affecting SEO.

Does anyone know whether this is detrimental to SEO, and if so, are there any suggestions on what might be causing this to happen in the code?
