Hello, I recently used Firefox to either open, save, or both screenshots (using windows key) that changed the files to png. Png will not print on the printer I used so I've tried searches online, Mozilla, pc settings, but can't seem to undo, that is restore the screenshot to its original setting*. I have used an app to convert some png back to jpg but that's just one more computer hassle I don't need. *I've thought about restoring all settings to default but I couldn't begin to say what other acceptable changes I might have made.

The PC used to save as jpg or pdf but either one would work.

Yes, I have carefully followed whatever directions were given, pretty sure, anyway. This note is two hours after my first question. And, yes, I am a simple person.

This just all the sudden started happening for my charter email account, I haven't changed any settings, the font turned red and can't receive the emails. I have mail washer and see the emails, they not from anyone shady. got a couple screen shots. Thanks

Last week I started getting the attached pop-up

I don't use Calendar on Thunderbird (as it does not sync ) Not sure why this has started ..... I have tried putting in password and ticking the remember box - but it still keeps popping up.

I use Thunderbird and Firefox as my default browser. When I open a pdf file in Thunderbird, a new tab opens with the pdf document but Firefox stays in the background. I have to click on the tab to view the document. I don't remember it being like that before. Is there a way to adjust the settings in Firefox (or Thunderbird) to allow the browser to come to the front right away?

After migration to new PC I created the default folder for Downloads as the Desktop. As during a rebuild the Dowload Folder is deleted. I deleted the Folder " Downloads". I now want to change the default back to a new folder called Downloads. I cannot in Settings get it to take this folder, cannot delete the existing folder (C:\Users\James Euler\Desktop\Downloads). How should I proceed to return to Downloads, or where should I place the new folder "Downloads" so that it becomes the default location for each download? Where should this Download Folder be located?Thanks in advance, as I had no problem making the new default. James

Mozilla suddenly says "The certificate for mobile.charter.net does not come from a trusted source." It will not let me get my emails. Is this a problem with Thunderbird or Charter (Spectrum) I am able to receive email on my I Phone. I do not know which Thunderbird version and can't find it using your instructions. Help please

I don't know which wrong manipulation I have done, but the "+" sign to create new tabs has disappeared.

Could you please help me to get it back ?

(I know that I can right-click and choose "new tab" in the menu, but the "+"sign is definitely more convenient 😅)

I did Edit - Find - Search Messages and then Edit - Find- Global Search and searched for messages. Now all the e-mails in my Inbox disappeared. What can I do? Thank you.

I'm using a Galaxy22 and have T/b for Android installed and ready to go. I've followed all the directions to import everything from my T/b on my desktop, which is the latest as I do automatic updates. But when I open T/b for Android, I see something called "unified inbox" with absolutely nothing in it, just a blank screen and a "compose message" icon on the bottom right. Where's my stuff? Please help! I can't handle Samsung email anymore, it won't send out any messages.

Hello, I face a problem with my email provider. I received an email and I can see 2 dates-hours in the emails platform of my provider (coprmail Cosmote, Athens, Greece). Specifically, 111:24 am and 12:06 pm. In Thunderbird, for the same email account, the column Date shows the value 12:06 pm. This caused other problem. In search I made, in the emails platform of my provider, for the same email, I have 11:24 am and in the preview window of the body of the email shows 12:06 pm. In my question to the provider, why this happened, I received the answer that the message received at their email server at 11:24 am, and the other date, 12:06 pm is the hour that the sender sent the email. I can understand that the PC of the sender could had wrong date+hour, but what is happend with thunderbird? So, my question to the community is: In the table list of emails in Thunderbird, the column Date what does it mean? I am waiting for receiving your reply. Today I created a subfolder and moved many precious e-mails there. That move was successful. Thereupon I shut down my Thunderbird and my computer. When I restarted my computer and my Thunderbird the folder which I created was empty. Please let me know how I can recover the e-mails. Thank you.

I set up a filter to move messages to the junk folder. If it's not from a .com, .net, or .org domain, move it. Here's how I set it up... If the "from" incoming message doesn't contain "any of the following" ".com" ".org" or ".net" move it to "junk". It moved .com and .org messages to junk anyway. What did I do wrong? There are too many TLDs to create a filter for all of them.

recent firefox update can no longer copy and paste when creating a blog post in Squarespace, I have been using squarespace for around 15 years for my websites and I have never seen this issue, Firefox 15.1 installed and all of a sudden when trying to create a blog post in Squarespace, when I right click a text box pop up and it no longer says paste so I can no longer copy and paste text - this is more than a little annoying, you will not be surprised to know that I am now using Chrome to create my posts, there is no issue in chrome. I am a firefox geek! how can i solve this problem, I just did another update from Firefox, the issue remains I have been using computers for 40 year so I am not a novice but software glitches, I am lost
