i get a reply from DENYS to my reported problem,,,and after using EMAIL & WINDOWS for 20 YEARs - i fail 3X to reply to his response - WHAT a SAD CONVOLUTED MESS!!

I would like to remove the search options from the address bar because I preferred the old setup with a separate search window (and the address bar was just unable to perform searches). How can I set this up?

Why doesn;t Firefox autofill my saved sites and passwords. I cannot find a setting for that. I don't want to go through all my sites to change passwords and don't know if I did would they then work to autofill. bold text

I'm hosting a server locally on my desktop, and created an etc/hosts entry to assign it a URL so that I could use TLS certificates. The URL is `docs.user.localhost` and firefox will not load the page. However, as soon as I change the etc/hosts entry to `docs.user.localsite` or just `docs.user`, everything loads correctly. Is there a setting I need to toggle to allow for loading sites with reserved local TLD's? I've been going through a couple suggested by various sites, but there either already set correctly or don't fix the issue.

When the Global Privacy Control request is checked (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/global-privacy-control?as=u&utm_source=inproduct) a persistent bubble appears at the bottom of the page indicating the request has been accepted. The bubble is annoying. Is there a way to continue to use this feature without the bubble appearing?

All are gone, I wonder how I can get them back?

I have tried all the suggestions clear cache, restart, refresh, turned off extensions etc. but these have not resolved the issue, also this has only started happening within the last couple of weeks.

I'm trying to use Booking.com to pay online for a holiday and Firefox keeps crashing as soon as I press confirm payment. Have tried several times using 2 different cards. What can I do?

firefox on mac seems entirely broken.

in about:profiles I see 1 profile (with custom name). after restart the profile is still there, but all settings lost( Passwords, links, addons )

the same as happened before: I restarted the computer for update. than there were multiple profiles in about data. i got cunfused an in the end i deleted firefox entirely and reinstalled.

I would like to remove the first item from the Tab Context Menu, which is "Add Tab to New Group", and simply have "Reload Tab" as the first menu item.

I was using this code, which worked in FF 145, until the latest update (FF 147)...

#context_openANewTab,
#context_moveTabToNewGroup,
#context_moveTabToGroup,
#context_ungroupTab + menuseparator {
   display: none !important;
}

However, now there is an extra separator line at the top of the menu (see attached images).

This code also removes the top menu item, but still leaves the separator line on top:

#tabContextMenu #context_moveTabToNewGroup {
  display: none !important;
}

Is there a way to remove the first menu item without adding the separator line?

Firefox updated automatically overnight, all bookmarks vanished. Toolbar bookmarks, gone. History information disappeared two weeks ago. Library box is now gone, too! Windows 11. Firefox version 147.0.3 64-bit
