I am running Linux Mint and Thunderbird 140.9.0esr (64-bit). When I try to setup my Comcast email account I get errors and the program basically stops. For example "can't access property "cleanup", this [#configVerifier] is undefined". When I allow Thunderbird to do the initial search and follow its recommendation I get this error: Error creating account Incoming server already exists
I have Tbird running on two other computers THAT HAVE BEEN TURNED OFF. I noted that if I tried setting up Tbird on my newest Mint installation, i.e., Tbird running on my Windows machine, it would also fail to make the account.
I am at a loss as to what is going on. Any ideas???

A "send later" button came up one morning instead of the usual "send" button. When I clicked on the write button to see where the "send" button was, several choices came up but when I clicked on the "write" choice I lost the other choices and now can't get back to the original write button and still no "send" button appears anywhere on the menu. I can save messages to Draft but still can't actually send them. I can still receive emails, just can't send them! Help!

Thunderbird lädt keine neuen Mails mehr vom pop3 Postfach herunter, aber ständig alte. Beim versuch das Konto neu einzurichten kann Thunderbird keine Einstellungen finden, obwohl die Einstellungen stimmen. Auf dem Handy (Android) werden die Mails einwandfrei heruntergeladen.

Hi, Thunderbird updated this morning, and now I cannot access my email. I've rebooted, confirmed my server settings, and it has not fixed it.
I need to know how to tell Thunderbird that the email is NOT SPAM. I have tried everything suggested and nothing works.
Thunderbird will not check email. Webmail works, but not the Thunderbird app. When I enter the check email command, nothing happens at all.

For 3 days, I haven't been able to access my GMX email account. It tells me every time "Login to the server imap.gmx.com with username '[edited from public] @gmx.com' failed. I hadn't changed anything beforehand and all the entered data is correct. My other accounts like gmail, yahoo, works just fine. Tried installing older versions and still no success. Outlook app works fine either. I'm pretty sure that GMX mail server made some changes that Thunderbird is missing. Please verify.

'Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the email system allows you write privileges, and you have enough file space to copy the mailbox'.
I saw that at least one other person reported this, and the suggestions included:
1. Rebooting. Done, no effect. 2. Antivirus interference. I am using standard Windows antivirus. Have been using same for years without issue.
The problem does not appear to interfere with writing to mailboxes. Seems to be an erroneous popup only.
