I can't re-open a saved tab group. I saved it and closed firefox but when I returned I couldn't find where to access it. I see all of my saved tabs when I right-click on a tab and choose "Add Tab to Group", but when I move the tab to that group it just disappears rather than open the group. Any help would be appreciated! :)

Recently updated to Windows 11 after Windows 10 stopped getting supported. After putting down several smaller issues on my own, I can encountered something I cannot fix on my own. Currently, I cannot detach, reattach, move tabs (With the exception of moving tabs with the right click menu). I could do all of these on Windows 10. I have already tried the browser.tabs.allowTabDetach setting in about:config to no success. I am starting to suspect it is a problem with windows versus a problem with Firefox because of an earlier bug where I couldn't move the windows entirely without enabling the Snap Windows function in my settings.

Hi, All of a sudden, I lost absolutely all of my bookmarks. My PC is running Windows 11. My Firefox account was and still is logged in. At first, I thought the data loss was due to a CCleaner cleanup using their latest update. After the data was lost, I tried running another CCleaner cleanup, but this time it didn’t delete the bookmarks. So I honestly have no idea how this could have happened. These were bookmarks I had saved over many years... It’s a disaster.

Hello, I have Facebook Container installed (Windows 11) on my desktop. However, if I click a link to a FB page, say in an email or on a webpage, Facebook opens onto the current tab and makes it a container tab. Since I can not go back once FB is opened in the container tab, I have to open a new tab and go back to the original (pre FB) webpage. This is the only time this happens.

What settings can I change so that the Facebook Container opens Facebook into a new tab, not on top of an existing open tab?

How to disable the auto-adding of shortcuts feature from history to home page? It's really annoying, when I want to change my pinned shortcuts, I have to delete all auto added shorcuts (Even when the items on the screen are finished, they keep appearing in front of me, and this takes a long time). It is a must feature I think.

I can't seem to locate how to activate the microphone in the AI sidebar. I have Gemini selected, and when I hit the microphone to dictate I get the following message.. Unable to access the microphone. Please check settings.

I looked through Firefox settings and my laptop's but I don't see where it is turned off or asking for activation.'

We hate this useless so-called feature and you've completely failed to give us an OFF switch! It's been many months with countless complaints and still no OFF switch! We've had this conversation before, all of your ideas must come with an OFF switch, especially so for the dumb ones like tab pinning! You don't ever force this dumb crap on us, ever!

Starting on October 18, I've had problems accessing most websites. I get security errors such as:

Secure Connection Failed Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

Secure Connection Failed Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

This problem occurs only with Firefox. It doesn't happen with Chrome (which I had to use to post here).

A few sites work, but not many.

I tried reinstalling the latest version of Firefox but that didn't make any difference.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Today, as a change, when I open a webpage from the bookmarks toolbar, the new page does not include the toolbar - to get to the toolbar, I have to open a new tab or restart - is there a way to fix this in Settings?

A few weeks I started having trouble accessing the aa.com website. I would get this message:

I can access without issue on Edge and Chrome, but they aren't my preferred browsers. And if I use google to directly go to a specific page within the site, such a the technical support page, I can access that, and log in from there.

I tried all of the typical trouble shooting steps, like clearing cache and cookies. None of that helped.

Then today I decided to pull out my laptop and see if I could access aa.com from there. I could, with no issues.

So, this is somehow related to Firefox, but deeper than just the browser itself. But I'm at a loss as what to check next to correct this isue.

Not sure if it's related, but the automated guesses this page makes about my browser and operating system stated that I'm on Windows 10. This computer uses Windows 11, and it came installed with Windows 11.

I searched, and all the internet results I find tell me to look in the settings:applications:mailto ddlb and select Yahoo. The problem is that it's not there.

There is a "use other" but there's no hint on how I'd tell it to open https://mail.yahoo.com.

How do I get it to open Yahoo mail?

Je commence mieux à comprendre votre proposition pour la commande « insérer » (on verra l’autre problème plus tard). J’ai cliqué sur la commande « nouveau message » en même temps que sur la commande « MAJ » (je pense que c’est celle qui permet de saisir une majuscule) mais cela ne m’a rien donné. En revanche, j’ai cliqué sur « paramètres des comptes » et j’ai cliqué sur « HTML » (voir image ci-jointe appelée « HTML »), mais cela ne change rien car je ne vois toujours pas comment ajouter la commande « insérer » dans la barre d’outils. D’ailleurs je n’ai pas vu la mention « composition et adressage ». Par contre j’ai essayé d’ajouter d’autres commandes dans la barre d’outils en cliquant sur « affichage » « barre d’outils » « personnaliser », mais je n’ai pas vu la commande « insérer » (voir image ci-jointe « barre outils »). Si vous avez le temps de continuer à m’aider, je vous en remercie bien sincèrement.

I'm starting to better understand your proposal for the "insert" command (we'll see the other problem later). I clicked on the “new message” command at the same time as the “SHIFT” command (I think it’s the one that allows you to enter a capital letter) but that didn’t give me anything. However, I clicked on “account settings” and I clicked on “HTML” (see attached image called “HTML”), but that doesn’t change anything because I still don’t see how to add the “insert” command to the toolbar. Besides, I didn’t see the mention “composition and addressing”. I searched how to disable any random new AI features Firefox was about to cram into the browser.

I was served this support page that says I can "Block new and current AI features (single switch)"

Simply, the described feature to disable AI features isn't in the settings. I've look and tried searching for "Block AI enhancements" & "AI controls" but no luck.

Please tell me they haven't given the writing of support pages to some shitty LLM.

I'm not sure whether i am in the correct forum. I have successfully copied to a USB stick the bookmarks from my old PC but, although I can open the html file and see them, I cannot see how to present them in the bookmarks menu. I am not recognising a simple "import" option such as I found with passwords. What am I missing
