I don't know why I don't have the correct ssl certificate or whatever. I use firefox 60(nightly) I am not sure if I deleted my certificates or what may have happened but it says ssl_error_weak_server_ephemeral_dh_key I don't know exactly what this means or how to get my dh key to give them the right key.

I'm on a mac running OS 10.10.3 and just installed Firefox 47.0.1. However, I am unable to connect to any website but receive

"Your connection is not secure

This is the same message I receive for every website, including Mozilla. I have been unable to find a workaround and so far this has made the entire browser useless. It is only effecting Firefox, as Chrome and Safari are working perfectly fine.

When I open a webpage which is in French, how can I get Firefox to askme if I want the webpage translated into English? Firefox used to open a strip at the top of the webpage which allowed me to click yes to translate the page. Firefox 3.6.13 does not do this now. I have found that Translation Add-On's do not do the trick easily. Any ideas please?

Hi, Right now I get the past history page but have it turned off. I'm having a hard time setting all my new tabs to google.com. Can someone tell me exactly how to set all my tabs to use google or bing? Thanks, Les

My desktop is running Windows 8, which recently crashed. Since then, every time I start up, Firefox 17.1 (which is in the startuo folder) does not load, but brings up an error window saying (Couldn't load XPCOM). Dismissing the window then allows me to start Firefox myself. I have uninstalled Firefox (but not the personal stuff), downloaded a new copy of Firefox 17.1 and re-installed.... same thing happens.

Just to clarify ..... this only happens once, following the initial boot up of the desktop. I dismiss the error window and all is well after that.

Any bright ideas please?

What is XPCOM referring to? A missing dll file? can I find this file elsewhere and move it to the correct location?

I have the Spanish version and do not function well making any changes in firefox because the browser language is in Spanish. I have found a few answers on the Internet but they do not work for me. If this is not possible, how difficult is it to uninstall and reinstall an English version? I am in Costa Rica.

These are the startup videos and other videos you are supposed to be able to view when you first install Firefox. They're not from Youtube or anywhere else. They're coming from Mozilla's homepage or part of Firefox to help you get up and running when you first install it.

I have been using the Downloadhelper add-on for years on my laptop with no problem. I noticed about three days ago it was no longer working with any Youtube videos. The rotating icon is still working, and when I click on it, it still gives me the file type choices for downloading. However, after I click my choice, the green arrow shows the downloading process, but comes up '0 bytes' for every type of video.

I am not having problems downloading videos from other sites that I've used before, just Youtube.

Also, I am able to use Downloadhelper with Youtube on my other computer without a problem.

When I open a new tab I want it to open in my homepage which is google. I cannot seem to change this unlike IE which allows me to change this to what ever settings I choose. How do I set all my tabs to google? Instead of it coming up as blank page (untitled)?

So my adobe flash plugin apparently keeps crashing and this has been going on for awhile now. When I watch videos on youtube, the audio will stutter. Sometimes the video will crash too and whenever I watch a video on teennick.com, the video is constantly freezing and/or crashing. I've tried using the 'safe mode" version of firefox and the problem still happens. This is so frustrating, someone please help.

I'm trying to run an application that displays competitors' routes at an orienteering event. My problem is that Firefox blocks the Java applet. I get a window saying "Application Blocked by Security Settings. Your security settings have blocked an application from running with an insecure or expired jre."

I've tried looking at the Firefox help on "How to enable Java if it's been blocked", but that's no help. It talks about clicking on the red plug-in icon in the address bar, but there isn't a red plug-in icon in the address bar.

The application is from www.epoc.routegadget.co.uk. It worked when I used it last Sunday.

Windows 7, Firefox 30

After changing how Firefox handled cookies (changed to forbidding 3rd party cookies, asking permission to set cookies), I rebooted my system, and Firefox would not start - I got the error message in the question. I uninstalled Firefox, and then re-installed, and Firefox ran fine. After some hours, I closed Firefox and rebooted the system, and again, Firefox hangs upon start, and I get the Plugin Container has stopped working error message.

Since Firefox won't work on my Windows desktop, I'm using my Linux desktop to look here for help. The problem details reported are: Problem signature:

Where can I get a full download of Firefox version 54? I don't want the latest version and I'd prefer to get it from Mozilla itself to avoid relying on another party.

Since the last update of Firefox a lot of my addons don't work anymore. Some of these (security) addons are of greater importance to me than any security issues that a new version of Firefox might fix.

I am receiving a "couldn't load XPCOM" error. I know that I can reinstall Firefox but when I went to do that it erased all of my bookmarks so I did a system restore. How do I save my bookmarks?

Firefox will not open at all. I have tried troubleshooting, I have tried right clicking it and clicking "Run As Administrator", and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. When i try open it, it does not come up with any error messages or anything. The loading icon appears then disappears, without firefox opening. Nothing I try opens firefox.

I can no longer access CreditKarma, receive the error message: (Error code: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap). Used to work fine, but no longer. Don't know much about computers but would like to fix this. Any ideas?
