I know that to view the composition toolbar, I need to open up a new message, then click View, and then click Toolbars. However, what do I do if the Menu Bar is also now visible? See attached screenshot.

When Firefox is running in a non-maximized window, an unwanted empty space appears on the left side of the tab bar, before the first tab.

This space is not present when the Firefox window is maximized. It appears automatically whenever the window is restored to a smaller/non-maximized size.

The issue affects the tab bar layout and leaves a noticeable unused area on the left side of the tabs. I would like to know whether this is expected behavior or a UI bug.

Firefox version: 155.0 64-bit Operating system: WINDOWS 11 25H2 64-bit

A few updates ago, headers and footers started appearing on anything I print from Firefox. No other printing from any other source does this. All the settings (advanced settings) show header/footer as off, and 'none' in all the header footer options. I have attempted every combination available and can't get rid of the headers and footers. I Don't Want Them!

With Thunderbird 155 our Shortcuts deletion plugin doesn't work anymore.

Now all the worst shortcuts like "a" are back. 

(I never understood why it isn't something like "Alt+A" )

We need to deactivate all the *(/&%$&% shortcuts. We deactivated them via a plugin. But the plugin does't work with 155. Does someone knew what mozilla chaged with the shortcuts handling, so we can change our plugin acordingly?

Добрый день. После последнего обновления Firefox появилась проблема. Суть такая, При перетягивании вклдаки с одного окна Firefox на другое они не объеденяются. А переносится как новое окно. А в окне в которе переносится появляется синяя полоса и висит так бесконечно. Еще вчера, до того как я обновил до последней версии все работало нормально. Помогите решить проблему.

I have Firefox in permanent Private Browsing only, and Privacy and Security Settings are set to Strict / Do Not Fix any site problems.

Why does Firefox retain browsing site data even after I exit out of Fiirefox completely unles I do all of the above?

I have the latest version of Mozilla Firefox 155.0.Every time i update to latest version my Norton 360 for Gamers antivirus Safe Web application blocks the update process and i report it as False Positive and Mozilla Firefox updates ok. I have attached and image of Norton's Safe Web application analysis. Also,have submitted this issue to Norton using their Report False Positive form and have not had a reply yet. Thank you

TB will import but does not display either legible emails nor attachments. I suspect GM at is fault. The takeouts seem incomplete at Zip 11GB. There are 2407 emails in my simple GM account a few with always Adobe PDF legal document attachments. I am new to Thunderbird so that may be a contributor but it looks very straight forward. I work for a school district. At some point over the summer, a Firefox update started triggering my districts web filters. The filter says it's connected to Firefox VPN, but I don't have the VPN turned on. After a minute or two, I am able to access the internet normally in Firefox or any other browser.

There must be a setting or something in Firefox that triggers this since I can use any other browser normally, but once I open Firefox, everything on my computer is blocked from internet connectivity until the timeout is over.

I have been using Thunderbird for years with no problems. However recently, Thunderbird very often simply stops responding. Sometimes it just hangs up and sometimes the program bar at the top displays "Mozilla Thunderbird (Not Responding)". If I try to wait for it to respond, it literally hangs for several minutes before it begins to respond again, and often, it simply never starts responding again. It has simply gotten to the point where Thunderbird is practically unusable. All my other application software continues to work with no problems. It's just Thumderbird.

The version number in this submission may not be correct. I can't provide the real version number because of the hangups.

Suddenly since Friday 21.08.2026 morning every single person in our company started to call the IT department that their Thunderbird client is printing out blank pages (white pages) instead of attachments from emails.

What is happening -> Employee gets email with PDF attachment -> clicks to open it in thunderbird print preview -> prints -> blank page comes out.

What works -> Downloading the PDF and printing it. Opening the PDF in any other browser than Thunderbird and printing it.

No settings or updates were changed and it's a big issue affecting multiple computers.

What I tried doing -> Trying different printer (No fix), Resetting print settings in thunderbird (No fix). Trying other PDF attachments from older emails (No fix). Looking at print settings in windows (Which I didn't change since it only doesnt work in Thunderbird).

Problem is that on thunderbird in my office, This doesn't happen. We have the same versions and settings.

I tried opening the error console while opening the PDF and on computers where it doesnt work it shows me an error with along the lines of "This document is open in compability mode due to **** header <doctype html>" Something like that but i would have to check again.

I don't get this error on my personal PC.

I have Thunderbird 154.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11. When I opened Thunderbird this morning, it originally gave a message that the connection to the email server had failed. Before I had time to look into this, it downloaded a number of emails without headings and sometimes without text. However, Thunderbird on my Android phone, I discovered subsequently, had downloaded all the messages correctly. The problem seems to have now corrected itself for subsequent emails, but is there some way I can force the download of these previous incomplete emails? Also, this is a very recent update to Thunderbird - I think it was installed in the last few days. Is it a problem with the update and is it likely to occur again?

Only with Deepl, I click on this program and immediately I get a window which says "Checking if the connection is secure". Underneath this, I have to check a box which says "Verify if you are human", with the Cloudflare logo.

I've tried everything to get rid of this as it slows me up. I've tried Settings/Installed Apps, Search, Programs etc but it is not contained in any of these lists. I contacted Cloudflare who gave me some suggestions which didn't work (can't remember them), then said it was part of Mozilla and it was them that have attached this window so I need to contact you to get rid of it.

I have a new Windows 11 lap top and have been trying to make Firefox work the same as on my Windows 10 laptop. I looked at "Bookmarks import doesn't show bookmarks on title bar? " and tried to follow the instructions. The result is that the bookmarks toolbar contains both "Import bookmarks" and "Bookmarks menu" but not the actual Bookmarks Toolbar titles. The Library shows:

As you can see, I am going round in circles. I do not understand properly how bookmarks work. On my old Winows 10 laptop, I managed by trial and error to get something that I could use, but now I am mostly getting error.

Dzień dobry, Zgłaszam powtarzający się błąd w programie Thunderbird. Mam problem z drukowaniem załączników w formacie PDF bezpośrednio z okna wiadomości e-mail. Opis problemu: Podczas próby wydruku załącznika PDF, w oknie podglądu pojawia się czarny ekran z komunikatem, że aplikacja nie obsługuje podglądu. Po kliknięciu „Drukuj”, drukarka wypuszcza całkowicie puste, białe kartki. Środowisko: System operacyjny: Windows 11 Drukarka: Canon MF450 Series UFR II Ważne informacje: Drukarka jest w 100% sprawna. Drukowanie tych samych plików PDF po zapisaniu ich na dysku (przez przeglądarkę, Adobe Acrobat) działa bez najmniejszego problemu. Problem występuje wyłącznie wewnątrz Thunderbirda. Co już próbowałam zrobić (bez skutku): Uruchomienie programu w trybie rozwiązywania problemów (Safe Mode). Czyszczenie pamięci podręcznej (cache). Resetowanie ustawień profilu drukarki w Edytorze ustawień (usunięcie parametrów print_printer). Wymuszenie systemowego okna dialogowego przez zmianę print.prefer_system_dialog na true. Wyłączenie zaawansowanych funkcji drukowania w sterowniku Windows i zmiana trybu na rastrowy. Wygląda na to, że wbudowany silnik czytnika PDF w Thunderbirdzie przestał poprawnie komunikować się ze sterownikiem Canon UFR II. From Firefox, I have launched Earthlink Web Mail. When reading an email, scrolling doesn't work. It worked yesterday from firefox. It works today on Edge. It works today on my Android phone.

Now when I click on something in Firefox, for example a Facebook post, it opens in full-screen mode, not just in the selected window size. When the new window opens in full screen, it covers other stuff already on the desktop. It's f'ing annoying. How do I choose to have new windows open at the existing window size?
