My wife's Firefox was triggered from an e-mail link and in the process got updated to release 141.0 The result is that the tabs from the previous verion have not loaded. Can I still recover them?

I got a new PC and tried to sign in to my FireFox account to synchronize. But, foolishly, I ended up resetting my password! Don't know why did that, as I was able to locate my password stored elsewhere. I think this action erased all my data in my online profile & I cannot access my account data (bookmarks, user IDs & passwords) online.

Since my data was still in my old PC, I followed the directions for finding my Profile folder. I copied the folder contents to the Profile folder in the new PC. This has not worked.

I realize I wasn't supposed to copy the entire folder contents, which could be the reason why it's not working. Also, the profile folder contained a large amount of data (3 G). So, it's possible that not all files have been transferred correctly.

Please help me!

My PC died and I could not boot from bootable flash drive.

I had been backing up the system with Acronis to a WD Passport.

I purchased a new computer, and when I did a restore, upon starting Firefox, I did not have my old bookmarks, which are many.

Aren't they stored in a backup? If so, how do I get them back. I'm sure that some of the bookmarks came over from Netscape Navigator.

I lost all my personal data on Firefox as soon as I changed the password and I did not know that you can lose everything that I had registered in the download box and the previous archive. Now I am very, very mentally disturbed and I do not feel safe and I am very sad about what happened to me. I am crying now. What should I do? Firefox on my mac has been acting buggy lately. The last time I quit and reopened it, all of my windows and tabs were gone. there is no restore previous session available and the recently closed tabs and windows options are grayed out. How can I restore?

I accidentally refreshed Firefox when I was having problems and didn't realize Refresh meant wiping everything clean. I found another thread about this, but it's 8 years old and things have changed. How do I use the "Old Firefox" folder on my desktop to restore all my bookmarks, history, etc.?

Hello, I'm experiencing an issue with tab groups in Firefox.

• I use multiple tab groups in my browser.
• Normally, if I close the browser (without manually saving the groups), Firefox restores everything exactly as it was when I reopen it including all my tab groups and their current tabs.
• However, if Firefox crashes while the groups are open, I run into a problem:

 * When I restart Firefox after the crash and try to open my tab groups, all the recent tabs are missing.
 * Instead of restoring the most recent state of the tab groups, Firefox loads an old, manually saved version from the past.
 * Any recent changes to the tab groups are completely lost.

This has happened multiple times now.

I'd appreciate any help or suggestions to prevent this data loss after crashes. Is there a way to make Firefox auto save tab group states more frequently, or restore the most recent session even after a crash?

I am as much a believer in security as the next person but I don't understand what is going on,

I have had no response to my original ticket, which I beleive was number 305857 which I can no longer find any refernce to in my account, and I still have a completely blank Library! and I can't even make any new bookmarks!

The power went out in my area last night and When I turned my computer on this morning and opened Firefox, all my bookmarks are gone! It says the bookmark file is empty? I had many bookmarks that I use daily. How do I retrieve all my bookmarks I had in my Firefox account? Can someone help? Thank you.

Hi, Today 8-7-25 Mozilla automatically upgraded to version 141.0.3. Now all of my bookmarks are gone. I can't find them on my pc. There are two profiles listed in the profile section. Neither seem to have my bookmarks. I have a lot of bookmarks and some are very needed. Please help me recover all of my bookmarks. Thank you, Geo

Firefuxxed was refusing to open new tabs so I shut it down and restarted it (always fixes it) and all my pinned and open tabs were gone with no way to recover them, it took me half an hour to manually restore the pinned ones one by one but not all of them as I cannot remember all of them let alone all the open tabs I had (hours of research gone down the toilet).

There should be a way to backup and restore pinned and open tabs so this doesn't happen, the history option does nothing.

OS: Linux Mint 22 fresh install from a week ago Previous version of Firefuxxed updated after this shamossel.

Since yesterday, I suddenly had to recreate my Firefox account, which I have used for a long time. For no apparent reason, my email was not recognized as an existing account when I tried to synchronize my browser. As a result, I created a new account using the same email address. Consequently, all my email masks have disappeared from relay.firefox.com. Is there any way to recover those masks?

There are times that when I open firefox that some of my tabs that does this weird thing where my tabs from the previous session that I left doesn't load up, from what I see is a blank tab that doesn't access the sites I left. It's been twice since I encountered this and I can't replicate the issue. When it happens I try checking out the recently closed tabs or window it doesn't show the ones that didn't show up.

Absolutely furious. My bookmarks have completely disappeared and none of your suggested 'articles' is any help at all. I certainly won't be using Mozilla any more if you can't tell me how to rectify this.

version 141.0.3 on a 2019 iMac 11.7.10 ... when this version was downloaded, bookmarks and history disappeared. Is there a way to recover or do I have to begin from scratch ?
