Hello, Yesterday I opened Firefox and found that websites were loading very slowly, to the point where some websites would time me out. This is only occurring on Firefox, I checked Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome, they both worked fine. I am running Windows 10, and the latest version of Firefox I have run a clean reinstall and still no dice.

Searched to why background tabs are not loading. Switched to tab Swiped down and still nothing. Using extensions decentral eyes and ultimate block.

Any troubleshoot tips? Ive cleared cache abd history, not fixing

The last few weeks in particular Firefox has bogged down and will not load webpages. I have to close and restart to get it to work at all. I have used Firefox for 20 years as my preferred browser and have never experienced anything like this. I am a MacBook Pro user who is not a google fan so I try to avoid Chrome but have had to use Chrome to get access to things while Firefox is floundering.

Hello, I am Firefox Android user and i am having issue with Firefox while browsing substack.com website, When i open that website from a chromium based browser it works well but in Firefox it is slow and in my old mobile(android 9) which is even slower and i never wanted to open it. Twitter(X) is also heavier to open. I stopped using it from Firefox and using a chromium browser for these logins.

Firefox has all the features i wanted and i am satisfied that it is better than any other browser but lacks in performance. It is not smooth as Chromium browser.

Please look into it and it would be great if it just be more smooth like Chromium based browsers.

I am a non techy and a firefox user for many many years,,, But so slow loading pages.. I quit fiorefox and come back and its OK for awhile and then slow again... I've deleted cache, i've started in safe mode. and refreshed and lost my theme... Before I go to Chrome help this non techy... running a pretty new imac and sequoia and will go to tahow soon. Can you help?

Slow website loading (30+ seconds) on some websites (the same ones) for over a week now. Have tried MANY things. No issues with MS Edge loading the same sites. Using Windows 10. Data copied. Help please.

I'm having trouble signing into to some online news sites especially videos. The screen shows activity without actually loading a video or website site. I can't connect, it just keeps spinning.

I have to resort to using Chrome (yuck) when using Fedex.com. Please fix issues with Firefox and Fedex.com (very, very slow loading) thank you

While testing some fan-made game community websites, I noticed that Firefox handles them a bit differently compared to Chrome or Edge. For example, I checked https://nullsbrawl.tech/ (not an official site, just a community project) and saw that it loads more slowly and sometimes behaves differently in Firefox.

This made me curious:

Does Firefox have different handling for script-heavy or unofficial community websites?

What tools in Firefox Developer Tools would you recommend for debugging performance issues?

Are there guidelines for developers to make such sites more compatible with Firefox?

I’d love to understand more about how Firefox manages these situations.

For the last few months I've been getting slow responses with online applications. When I switch to chrome, it all runs at a normal pace. Specifically with " The Customer Factor"

My network is pretty fast -

• Download Speed - 76.30 mbps
• Upload Speed - 113.13 mbps
• Idle Latency - 61 ms
• Download Latency - 59 ms
• Upload Latency - 18 ms

Even though this is a pretty fast network connection, my websites on firefox take a long time to load, for example youtube takes like 2 seconds to load, and sometimes some elements of the website do not even load. This is a very annoying problem which I would like a solution for.

My browser worked fine until a few weeks ago. It then slowed considerably in serving pages. Instead of a few seconds, it would take 30 seconds. It has done this consistently since then. I don't recall installing new extensions. My other browsers work normally at normal page speed. The Windows OS seems to work fine as well.

Can anyone think what might be causing this & how to fix it?

Going to ANY website, it takes "forever" to load, but after loading normal speed is experienced. One way to get a website to initially load more quickly is to click the "X" which the spinner is going endlessly, then refresh the page, whereupon it will usually load instantly.

The problem is experienced with any and every website. This problem does not occur with Chrome or Edge:

Windows 11, Firefox 142.0.1 64 bit.

My computer is running very slowly on Firefox. It takes forever to load anything on Facebook, or my Bank, or any other site where I want to use Firefox. I have DuckDuckGo for search, and that is really slow, too. So I thought that maybe Firefox needs to be updated. But I don't know where to find the Menu Bar. I am 80 years old and don't know the computer "jargon." By coming here I lost your step-by-step directions about what to do AFTER I find the Menu!
