When the hell is firefox actually listen to auto-play media: no. That means all media, audio and video. There is always some fucking exception that configure (that doesn't always) work on Android. I don't fucking want bloody media to auto-play ever. So just make the software do what it is suppose to do. Been an fan of mozilla for years, for years, but I have had enough. Last update, and all kinds of media keeps fucking playing. Just have an option: no and no means no (for everything...)

These are only happening in integrated mode. If I use hybrid graphics mode all works good. I attached the about:support page and about:config page.

Hello,

I am having an issue with my Bluetooth headphones (Sennheiser HD 450BT) in Firefox on Windows 11.

The headphones are properly connected to Windows and work correctly with other browsers (Edge, Chrome).

Windows shows the headphones as the default output device (stereo), and test sounds play through them.

However, in Firefox, the audio does not go through the headphones. Instead, it plays very loudly through the laptop speakers.

The problem started today; there were no issues for about a year.

I have tried reconnecting/reinstalling the headphones, but it did not help. Drivers are also up to date.

Could you please advise how to make Firefox correctly use my Bluetooth headphones as the audio output device?

Thank you for your assistance.

I'm using Galaxy Buds 3 Pro on Firefox youtube, not the youtube app, because I simply enjoy firefox. When I close the screen it stops playing, I pinch the earbud it starts playing after the music finishes playing the browser app crashes. So I installed this extensions and it fixed this issue for me : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-background-play-fix/

So pinching functionality works for play/stop but double pinch for skipping to the next video or song does not work. Also 3 pinch as well for rolling back previous video.

Is this a compatibility issue? If yes can it be done for us to enjoy firefox with galaxy buds 3 pro ?

Firefox for Android Freezes When Switching Between Tabs During Video Playback

Hi Mozilla Support, I’m running into a recurring issue on Firefox for Android when watching videos. Whenever I have a video playing in one tab (HLS or DASH streams) and I switch to another tab for a few seconds, returning to the original tab causes Firefox to freeze or reload the page entirely.

What I’ve observed:

The video player freezes or shows a black screen when I return to the tab

Sometimes the tab reloads on its own and the video restarts from the beginning

Happens on both Wi-Fi and mobile data

Tested with multiple streaming sites, including our own (https://xupertvhd.co) app’s web player

Clearing cache and disabling add-ons didn’t resolve it

Using the latest version of Firefox for Android

I’m trying to understand:

Is this a known issue with Firefox’s background tab behavior or media playback engine?

Is there any setting that prevents Firefox from suspending or unloading media tabs?

Would enabling “desktop mode” or changing the media hardware acceleration setting help?

I can share logs or specific URLs if needed. Thanks!

Cleared cache, reinstalled browser, same shit. Happens once a month. I will be switching to another browser as this is unacceptable.

Can't access my email either, nothing loads. Every other browser works except firefox. This is ridiculous. Even reinstalling the browser doesn't fix the issue, which means the issue is on firefox end, no matter how much they try to blame Google for that, it seems it's their issue, since IT WORKS ON EVERY OTHER BROWSER (Brave, Opera, Edge).
